Welp, I can kiss any free time I might have away once this comes out. Time to resurrect the Lightning Sorc and Bone Nec for some infinite Baal runs. Didn't actually think Blizzard would remaster this but god am I happy they did.
Hopefully they pick a good release time for this and not, lets say, fall of this year (which, knowing Blizz, is when they'll release it) otherwise they'll be losing out to Endwalker (sorry, FFXIV will always take priority over any game even games I adore).

Probably because the Jaeger program is mostly a failure, even in the movies. Only Gypsy Danger can ever do anything. All the new Jaegers get taken out immediately in the first movie, and in the second movie they suck too. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this is a massive time jump of 20-50 years, and humanity lost to the Kaiju. Totally ripping off the premise of the final fight of Robot Jox, they find an old Jaeger that still has power, and they somehow fight without a maintenance crew to maintain it after each battle? Although it seems another Jaeger appears at the end of the trailer.

Yeah if they were both real, with all the lore that goes behind them. Godzilla would blow a hole through his torso in 3 seconds and it would be over with. Kong has lost to WWI planes on a tower... They had to destroy the environment, and wipe out a whole ecosystem with the oxygen destroyer to "kill" Godzilla. Kong wouldn't even beat Gigan, Destoroyah, Mecha Godzilla, Biollante, Megalon, Space Godzilla, or Hedorah.... Jet Jaguar could probably beat Kong!

Season 3 was good. Seemed a bit oddly paced at times with random time skips. I'm guessing thats to try to compensate for covid and the kids growing up faster than the show.
 

Still haven't gotten mine. but my parents did. Maybe you'll get lucky and an actual respectable sub shop will move into that spot. Subway sauces are good but everything else is such low quality. They literally just put pre cut, sliced, Oscar Meyer meat on your sandwhich. I get that its cheap, but nah fam. I can't do it no more. They're making a profit off a $5 footlong, that just tells you what you're putting into your body when you eat there. If I'm going to do that, I'm gonna go all the way with the chemical goodness and hit that McRib.

As someone who spends a lot of time watching Star Wars Theory (hey just cause I hate what Disney is doing doesn't mean I still don't want to keep up on lore) this is just bull shit. I didn't watch the Quartering video (in fact didn't even know he made on until you posted this, might have to watch it later even if I don't like Jeremy (his opinions are spot on sometimes though, usually with stuff like this)) but I watched SWT's response to Pablo's tweets (well his first one, seems he has another one up now that I didn't get to watching today) and it's just sad. Disney needs to nip this shit in the but and keep crap like this from happening. Fans should be able to react how they want (especially passionate fans like SWT) and not fear being ridiculed by those with creative power and power in franchises like this. Utterly bonkers this shit was allowed to happen (then again I'm sure now that it's blowing up Disney will swoop in and try to save face on this one).
This reminds me of that incident with that female Guild Wars 2 dev a few years back. You'd think companies would be setting some pretty firm social media engagements rules after that fiasco.

My old TP-Link AC1750 started to die on me last week after multiple years of perfect use. It started needing a reboot once a day because the internet would completely stop for wired and wireless. After 3 days it needed 2 reboots and thats when we bought a new router. Theres been plenty of routers on sale with black friday lately, but instead of going with netgear I went with TP-Link again because this last router lasted years longer than any other router I've ever owned. My dad got a new AX wifi 6 netgear router off of bestbuy a couple weeks ago but because it was black friday exclusive model there was hardly any reviews for it. Since its been a few weeks alot more negative reviews started popping up on it so decided to stick with TP-Link. We bought the TP-Link AX3000:

We got it from walmart since its cheaper there for the "deals for days" reduced price during November and December. So far I'm loving this router. Much faster speeds that the AC1750. Everything seemed to connect great to it and my phone gets 80+ mbps connection outside my house almost an acre away. But my nvidia shield seems to have a worse connection to my pc for game streaming with it. I'm not entirely sure why but instead of troubleshooting it any more I decided to finally hard wire my Nvidia Shield with an old cat 5 eithernet 100 foot cable I had. That improved my game streaming to a whole other level. Now when I'm streaming a game from my PC to my living room, its as if I'm playing the game directly on that TV with absolutely no input lag. The connection I'm getting is only 100 mbps between the shield and the PC, but the router has gigabit ports. Turns out I need to upgrade my eithernet cables. I had no idea roughly 5-6 generations of eithernet cables has happened since the last time I bought one. I did not know those cables were advancing like HDMI cables were. I ordered a couple cat 8 cables because they were the same price as the cat 6 on amazon a couple days ago. That should give me a solid 1 gbps connection between the two devices for extra clarity and no more minor pixilation. The only pixilation I was getting was when I play one of the Sonic racing games. It was running 60 fps but the sky was getting some pixilation effects on the tv. This new cable should fix that.
The only other device issue I had was with my laptop. Its an older laptop and it could only ever connect to wifi at 20mhz on 2.4g. Well, my laptop hated this new router. I could only get it to connect to a temporary guest network and it'd only get 7 mbps down and 11 mbps up. The last driver update that wifi adapter got was back in 2011 and it was the best driver for it. So I figure the internal wifi adapter must be dying. The laptop has only usb 2 so I couldn't get a usb 3 wifi adapter. So I spent $13 and bought this:

I plugged it in, installed the driver from the cd the device came with. I haven't used a CD in years. lol. My laptop can now connect to 2.4g or 5g and on either I'm getting 80mbps down now.  On 5g I'm getting 110 mbps down and the laptop is no where near the router.  I wish I'd have bought this adapter years ago.
BTW, my phone is a Galaxy S20 FE. Since my wifi router is a wifi 6, my wifi on my phone actually has a little 6 next to the icon now. Even on 2.4g connection my phone is connected with AX wifi 6 and its blazing fast.

I caught the HK reference, but holy shit!

They really blew their wad on this ep. I was seriously not expecting even one of the things to happen until the finale. And Kudo's to D+ for not posting the title of the chapter on social media even though all the media sites spoiled the fuck out of it.
 

I tried to get one from the Walmart sale. All 4 drops the same thing happened. I got it into my cart, and there was endless loading and crashes trying to place the order until it was out of stock. Its so senseless. It should be reserved for you for at least 5 min until you can check out on a secure area of their servers. I pre entered all my info for my credit card, address, and not having their 2 year warranty.. but it still asked me for all of that or to verify it. Once again giving all the advantage to the bots while slowing down the humans. 
I then got on playstation direct. I was in the front of the line... got to the end of the queue in 15 min and then the site did something funky and kicked me into the back of the line.. this happened to all my friends that were also on. Of course people that joined late got their PS5, and we just got a sold out notice 2 hours in. Honestly I wish I could just fucking pay someone and let them send it to me when it's available. I'm tired of trying to order something. Everyone should do this so bots can order 20k PS5s and bankrupt all these assholes when it takes the money or overcharges their card.

Even with a normal SSD they still would have probably had size issues. They took a gamble to do something different... almost a Nintendo gamble. We'll see how it plays out. Xbox isnt much better, seeing as their expanded memory costs as much as the console just about. Until PC becomes a legit threat to consoles, they have no reason to play nice with the SSD drives unfortunately. Outside of exclusives the biggest drawback to PC is the cheaters... and the great thing about a lot of crossplay is you can toggle PC users off and just play with Xbox and PS players.
Maybe we'll get there one day.
Yeah single player games have been more appealing to me the last couple of years. I hate to say it. It makes me kinda sad when I try to play a mutliplayer game and just don't feel it. I liked Modern Warfare but found myself not really enjoying it after an hour or two. I use to play MW2 and BF3 pretty much 15+ hours in a day if I didn't have anything to do. I guess its the part of getting old.

Not for me tho. Fiber FTW.
