We can blame Bush, but honestly this shit goes further back to the 70s. And thats all I see here. We peaced out. But we did it in the most shitty way possible. We left a ton of weapons systems. I'm afraid we'll be back in another 20 years and waste even more money because we left a fucking mess just like we did when we peaced out after we helped them against the russians in the 70s. Biden ain't doing shit. Dude isn't even mentally there. He's not running the show. Its either the cabinet or Harris. But they're going to pile the blame on him and I doubt he even makes it to the end of this term.

End Game was my ending to this universe. Spider-Man could be a series of great movies. But this is the 3rd reboot in a decade and I'm done and burnt on all MCU. EG was the perfect ending for me. I haven't watched anything else regarding it. Black Widow should have had her own movie years ago, not after she died. Its just a money train to me TBH. Chadwick Boseman passed away but we're still going to make BP2 without him? Nah, I'm good. I'll leave you with this:

Random thoughts. That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime has gotten a nice new coat of darkness too it. Watching Geld mercilessly beat the shit out of Shogo was one of the most brutal scenes I've seen in a long time. What an epic way to show the drawbacks of immortality.
Black Clover is fucking awesome now. Man what a rough start. I don't know what compelled me to stick it with for so long. I think we're at 170 eps... and it takes around 40 eps for the story to get good, and about 100 for the animation quality to get consistent, then at 155 it goes to high end. If you can get to the Eye of the Mightnight Sun arc, thats when it turns around storywise. Asta is no longer a super annoying screamo main protagonist, and his abilities he's developed since coming from nothing ad an interesting layer to his character. All the characters develop and grow... which I'm always a sucker for.

Not to mention Mereoleona Vermillion is probably the most bad ass female in all of anime. She just absolutely rekts everyone she fights. But of course she gets that Fairy Tail's Guildarts treatment because shes waaay to fucking OP.... but at least she gets more bad ass fight scenes than Guildarts ever got in FT.

Last two seasons have been less than stellar. Negan's arc is really all that has kept me interested. I'm glad Maggie is back to finish up because she was still holding the show together after Rick left... When she went off to do her failed crime drama, the show suffered immensely. This trailer is packed with good action. Looks like we'll have a lot of Negan and Maggie having to work together. The commonwealth story, finding the deaf sister, and Daryl all have things going on. I bet that chick in the cabin he was seeing is a Reaper!

Both anime series were extremely disappointing. I think I fell asleep for a few eps of this one and didn't even care to go back and rewatch. How can we get anime so right until it comes to Godzilla?
Seriously, just watch SSSS.GRIDMAN and SSSS.DYNAZENON for a good Kaiju anime.

DeathscytheX reacted to Sledgstone in Godzilla Singular Point
The trailers were better than the show. 80% of Godzilla Singular Point was a small handful of characters talking about make believe non-plausible or even remotely believable science and half of that dialogue took place in text message form while us as the viewer literally stare at the characters phone screens for 10 minutes at a time. Better watch it in english because I don't see anyone reading subtitles that fast. The monsters were good, but there wasn't enough action, and what action we did have, none of the characters ever showed any actual sense of danger. That was more unbelievable than all the BS science they kept talking about. There are monsters all over the place about to murder everyone and every character's reactions are so deadpan its as if nobody fears anything, and I mean every character from the main characters, regular people walking down the street, tv news anchors, etc. Its basically a potential extinction level event for humanity in the making and literally everyone is completely chill. wtf.  And also, Godzilla is barely in this until the end of the season. If not for Jet Jaguar every character would have been dead before we hit the halfway point of the season.
Also, consider this series a completely different alternate universe for everything Godzilla related. All the monsters, Godzilla itself, Jet Jaguar, all of it is completely unrelated to anything ever done with anything related to Godzilla. The other Netflix Godzilla series, "Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters" is also an alternate universe of Godzilla as well, but it was the superior of these series.
BTW, the end of the last episode does have an after credits scene that leads into a potential season 2.

So essentially they faux kept classes by making you choose between Resupply, Health pack, or launcher. I'm fine with this. It will be interesting to see this new take on conquest. It honestly just feels like they took bred Operations and Conquest and came up with this mode. Thats fine... personally I'm down with it... but I can already see the backlash and they'll have "Classic Conquest" added to the playlist after launch... and it better still be 128 players and like 12-15 flags.
The cooldown on vehicle spawning is very encouraging. It will give everyone a chance to get a vehicle and put an end to spawn screen camping. So far it feelsl like we're going in the right direction.

The "I won't forgive you!" reveal at the end fucking killed me. The whole time you wonder why she said that... and you realize the whole context. The waterworks flowed. This series was so tender and amazing.

I finished up Fruits Basket a couple days ago. Overall it was a great reboot. Season 1 was pretty spot on with the original season except it went a bit faster and felt like it lost some of the humor the original show had because the characters didn't seem to transform as often, but maybe I'm remembering the original wrong since its been over 10 years since I've seen it. The two eps that focused on Hana & Uo-chan were really good since they didn't go into any real backstory for those 2 characters in the original series. Season 2 went a bit slow and the student council/Yuki school president episodes felt like filler to me, but by the end of the series it was all character development for Yuki and how things ended with his relationships. Season 3 was so emotional and I love that the series got an ending after all these years.

I had more issues with PC than I ever had with consoles. lol. My current issue is I know my HDD is dying. I get random BSOD. PC gaming has never been appealing to me over consoles because I play mostly online competitive games. Cheating is so bad on PC... its a constant war between cheat bots and anti-cheat. I remember playing BF3 and watching a guy on our team have infinite ammo with an aimbot just sit on some steps with an LMG holding down the fire button. We body blocked his shots until he quit eventually... but the whole PC master race is hilarious to me. Oh your game looks better than console? Until you turn the graphics down to get rid of the grass for a competitive advantage.

Forum necromancer here to resurrect an old topic again.
So I got lucky and was able to play in the Closed Technical Alpha for this this past weekend. Gotta say I originally had no interest in this since I figured it was going to be another one of those Korean games that's all flash and no substance (and quite frankly that's all I really saw from watching streams of it back when it originally launched) kind of how Blade and Soul was (don't get me wrong B&S was good but it didn't have staying power for me). I'm happy to say I've reversed my opinion on it after getting my hands on it. Can't entirely say much since I believe I'm still under NDA (not sure but I'm not taking chances here) but I was extremely impressed by Lost Ark (almost so to say this is what Diablo 3 should of been). Combat is visceral and fun (chaining abilities together is fun as hell, takes a bit of getting used to do to how they're mapped on the keyboard), story is rather interesting (I love how every class has it's own Prologue story and that leads into the over-arching plot of the game, though not all of those are extremely well done or good (standouts for me were the Martial Artist and Warrior, Mage was okay but nowhere near as good as the other two), the game is beyond gorgeous (I don't normally gush about his stuff but god damn is it pretty), I like all the systems they have in place for various things (getting around the world, the rapport system, the little secrets you can find, etc), I love how you don't have to log out to the character selection screen to change characters (you can do it from the in-game menu) and I like the MMO aspect of the game even if it's not an overly important to actually enjoying or doing anything (seeing other players in the world makes it feel more alive while you're playing and it's nice when someone drops in to help kill a powerful monster).
About my only gripe is the loading process into the game. From boot-up to character select was anywhere between 5-10 minutes which royally sucks (part of that is due to the anti-cheat that boots up prior to game launch). Now it could be just my computer taking it's sweet ass time but I highly doubt that. In-game load times are amazing, you spend very little time in loading screens and it's refreshing as hell when compared to other games like it.
Quite frankly I'm really looking forward to this now after playing it (hell I'm considering purchasing the Platinum Founders pack for all the goodies and guaranteed access to the closed beta) and is probably the only real thing I'm hyped about this year besides Endwalker. I'm worried that this will come out at or around the same time as the D2 remaster and put me in a bind but all things considered I think Lost Ark will win that battle (as much as I love D2 I've never been hyped about an ARPG like this before (well at least not since D3 shattered all my hype with poor design decisions)). If you get a chance to get into the beta when it comes around take it because the game is fun as hell. Now to sit here and not think about my gnawing need to play my Soul Fist (Martial Artist advance class).

64v64, the bots make sense. Especially when the game begins to decline naturally I'm sure there is a soft cap requirement of real players.
Battle pass systems have been getting pretty good lately without fucking over the players that don't want to pay. Oddly enough. Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare had great battle pass systems. Mostly cosmetics but there were 2 weapons every season. Both free players and battle pass players could get them in reasonable time. Battle pass purchase gave you 1.5x XP gain over normal players. And both weapons were obtainable in the first 30 ranks. Plus they have 2xp battle pass weekend for all players frequently. The difference between buying it and not buying it was the many cosmetics you get. Like free players get a reward every 5 ranks while BP buyers get something every rank. I never thought I'd say this but COD actually has one of the better systems out there after all that BS loot crate craze they created.

Destiny 2's battle pass system is decent as well, but can be p2w'ish as you get mats for upgrades that doesn't really apply to a PVP game. but the concept is the same.

If they have weapons, which I hope they don't. I'd like to see the classic assignment system come back for that. I'd hope they take COD's system and make it fair for everyone to obtain. Otherwise I'd rather just see camos, vehicle skins, and XP tokens.

Ok, now I'm sold. FUCK YES! This looks amazing!
A few things that got me hyped:

One.... back to what battlefield is about... chaos and vehicles. The fact that they ever tried to focus more on infantry play was fucking stupid. This isn't COD, its battlefield. Getting your ass ragdolled by a tank a lot happens. Focus on vehicles was obvious. The maps looks to be solid for having ample coverage for infantry anyways. The game will only launch with 7 maps, which is concerning... but honestly if they are that big it should be fine. Older maps may not work for this game although as much as I hate on Wake Island I could go for 128 players on it . Lets do Metro and Locker too! Ziba Tower 64 v 64!
Take notice of the elevator scene. You can swap attachments live in match! This was a feature in Bad Company 2 that you could only do from the spawn screen. I really like this for its unforeseen applications but also the practicality. Unlocked something new? Hate it? Good, you don't have to play a whole round with it. I'm going to assume you'll have to set this up either way. It seemed like you could only do 3 opitcs, mags, barrel attachments, etc. Unless they watered down how many attachments you can get, I think this is going to be a customizable preset for in match swapping. Either way, I really like this feature as unrealistic as it is.

CHOPPERS!!! GIVE ME ALL THE CHOPPERS! MY RPG WILL HUNGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The wing suit feature is interesting and makes sense. If these maps are big, We'll need some non vehicle fast travel options. With the maps being this large, I would like to see the return of some of the lesser known BF2 maps that were absolutely massive.

Concerns for the player base. They basically turned conquest into a hybrid form of operations. I loved operations in BF1... literally my favorite mode of all time.... but its not conquest. People are going to bitch. Capturing sectors and locking them in to where you cant lose them? That's not conquest. I expect classic conquest to make a return a few months in. Give us 10-12 flags to capture. It'll be fine DICE.

All they need to do is get rid of bleed out, or make it skippable and I'll pre-order this game so fast.

Just please leave that fucking bleedout mechanic out. Looks good, very similar to BF4's debut trailer. Looking forward to some gameplay footage.
If we're doing 64 vs. 64, we need 10 tanks per team, maybe 10 various air vehicles between choppers and jets.... I'll be out there with my RPG so the more the better.
