Watched Forged in Fire on the History Channel this morning since I had nothing better to do, show is a rather interesting concept but a lot more fun to watch then other shows like it (similar concepts like Chopped and what not). Plus one of the episodes had Ilya from Man at Arms: Reforged on it (was interesting to watch him work by himself).

I was devastated when Full Metal Jousting wasn't picked up for a second season. That show was freaking amazing but I guess people just aren't interested in watching men in full suits of armor riding horses with long pointy sticks aimed at each other (yet shows like Chopped, Top Chef, etc are still on the air (I like Chopped but I don't understand how that's still going with how boring that can be sometimes)).

I've never seen full metal jousting. I remember a commercial for it vaguely. Maybe the problem with the show was advertising. I know I'd have watched it if I remembered. lol.
I tried watching some new reality show with Duff from Ace of Cakes on netflix after the great food truck race. The teams were going to make cakes "ace of cakes" style After 8 mins I realized it was boring as hell and quit it. I don't understand how he keeps getting shows since its all the same thing now. After watching 3 seasons of ace of cakes in the past, there really is nothing new to show about how they make cakes in any form. But American Guns gets canceled after 1 season I think because "there was nothing new to make another season with". I'd have kept watching that show.

Full Metal Jousting was awesome. I guess the ratings weren't good or it was around the time they felt like getting away from those types of shows. Dudes got lit up, and the personalities of the horses were just as interesting.
