  1. i don't think sasuke has mastered his sharingan yet, but being with orochimaru and the sound ninja, he has probably copied every technique in the entire village.. and considering orochimaru's fascination with techniques, his subordinates were probably loaded with abilities.
  2. They won't be airing the last episode here in the states for quite a while too. We watched fansubs. the manga isn't anywhere close to being finished. The author announced it'll still be getting new chapters upwards and thru 2007. Just because the anime ended, the story is still ongoing.
  3. i've had the movie downloaded for about a month now, but i refuse to watch such a low quality version of it. i'm waiting for the dvd to come in the mail.
  4. *begins another rant about season 6* the only thing season 6 had that was good, were a few eps depicting the struggle kohaku has been going thru, sango's emotions and a kilala episode that was quite sad... and miroku's proposal.. but all in all its alot of episodes that don't progress anywhere. i mean yes, there were filler eps in previous seasons, but they accomplished something.. like inuyasha upgrading the tetsusaiga. there were multiple episodes like that, but they were relevant to a goal (killing naraku). but season 6, is a bunch of eps that even inuyasha describe as "having nothing to do with naraku, lets not waste our time" and then after that, it was nothing but kikyo/inu crap, kagome's idiotic behavior and inuyasha being a complete ass to kagome's feelings. and yes, hes an ass.. because after 5 seasons hes beyond "playing dumb" now, hes just a straight up ass that barely even acknowledges her. if you're asking for spoilers, i'll give them.. heck, you gotta expect them in a topic called "series finale" but yeah, kikyo is still alive.. she never actually died... because kagome saves her life. and by doing that, she has secured her own uselessness.
  5. *morphs into rabid fan boy* I love this story!
  6. Its not. If anything, it'll make you more pissed about their "relationship." the only good episode between the two of them was when inu finally met kagome's friends.. but after all the kikyo/inuyasha episodes it seemed completely out of place. naraku's current body makes him immortal.. he cannot die.. because of this, he no longer has to hide in the corner of a castle and pull strings from the shadows. instead he can get right into the middle of all the action and whoop some ass.. but instead of going after inuyasha he accomplishes nothing. even when he knows where the very last shards are.. he still doesn't straight up attack anyone! wtf.. considering how leisurly hes going about it, its as if he has changed his mind about what he wants to do with the shikon no tama, but the plot is not hinting at anything. i liked naraku when he "plotted" against his enemies and used others for his own purposes.. it was interesting.. but now he doesn't even have any lackys except for the pointless kagura, the never talking kanna and some freakish patchwork of a youkai. i thought entei added a new element to the show, but they killed him off so damn quick.. keh. btw, what is the purpose of them even needing kagome anymore!? her arrows can't penetrate naraku's barrier, there are no more shards for her to find, and she isn't needed to purify the shikon no tama or even control inuyasha if kikyo is going to be so damn close at hand all the time. That is naraku. instead of making incarnations anymore, he split himself into 2 parts.. the immortal naraku, and the small infant akago (sp?).. which later also spawned hakudoshi. all of which are naraku.
  7. ROTFLMAO! X'D that was some hilarious "shit"
  8. I finally got around to watching the rest of inuyasha.. and I am dissapointed. Season six was a serious let down. The high point of the series was defintely the Shininitai (Band of Seven). After that, the series progressivly goes downhill with a bunch of filler episodes and no plot. It makes sense why the series was shut down, it wasn't interesting any more. btw, anyone notice how kouga dissapeared after the naraku incident? you'd think they'd have even mentioned him and his two shikon shards.. but no.. Naraku would rather go to the afterlife for one shard than go after the two easily accessable ones. whats your opinion on how the series ended?
  9. Sango! and if she turned me down.. then Kagome!
  10. How do you think they'll end the series? I have a good feeling that they already have a set number of seasons like Babylon 5 did. Which makes for great series, with no significant filler episode crap. now, get this.. by the end of season two of the original battlestar series, they made it to earth and thats how they ended it.. but then they decided to make that spinoff series battlestar 1980 that sucked ass.. but lets not go there. as for this topic tho, my question is this.. how do you think they'll end the series? Will they make it to Earth? What will they find when they get there? Will they end the series just like that? or will they expand past the goal of earth and lead a counter attack against the cylons? Will there be devine intervention? what if the goal is not necessarily earth? what if the goal of the series is really the cylons goal? they seem to be herding the fleet somewhere.. could it be earth? or possibly a whole other goal is intended? So many possiblities.
  11. ah, but don't forget what the president's lacky told Gaius, "That number means everything to the president" by having the bomb on Cloud Nine, the central hub of the entire human race, they would be in quite a position to destroy a significant amount of the fleet depending on how many ships are around it at the time. not only that, but it would be a major blow to the moral of the fleet to loose such a ship as the cloud 9. and yeah, i did not see that coming.. i thought the president would have been dead by the end of the season, but shit! but this makes me think of the prophecy.. "A dying leader will guide us to kobol, but will not live to see earth." Shes still going to have to die.. but now it looks like it won't happen for a while.
  12. He has mastered it. His only downside is that he has less chakra control than a senin or hokage (or even sakura) which is why he modified the technique to use a clone for the extra control. I think the same is true with chidori, neither sasuke or kakashi use it without the sharigan for assistance. All in all I think the rasengan is more powerful. the chidori requires a constant supply of chakra because it wastes so much energy. Remember all the times sasuke has done chidori and as while hes running to the enemy he drags his hand and walls are exploding? imagine if the sheer force of that attack was honed to a single point with no energy loss.. the power would be immense and cause critical damage. thats basically what rasengan does, but because of its control, a much smaller amount of chakra has to be exerted because there is no energy loss. a much more effiecient and devistating attack, something we should expect from a hokage technique.
  13. i like the frog boss the best. but i like that one frog that always asks for snacks. *tarp falls over frog's head* its dark.. i'm getting sleepy. X'D
  14. I think the cylons will still attack them occassionaly to keep herding them.. but they possibly won't do as much with the human cylons because of the loss of the resurrection ship. There are so many possible outcomes with the current events.. The president is going to die.. the vice president, Baltar, will take over the presidency.. but his insanity will catch up to him sooner or later and screw that all up. another possible political uprising with Zarek.. and lets face it.. the Pegasus crew is on a whole other page than the Galactica or even the rest of the fleet.. If anything, I could see Zarek attempting a takeover with key figures in the Pegasus command. Think of the shit they did under Cain's command.. would Zarek really be that different in terms of ruthlessness. oh, but i could also see a counterattack happening.. What if the Pegasus has to be sacrificed to save the fleet in a massive battle? that'd be a helluva way to end a season.
  15. Sam and Daniel are my favorites too.. Teal'c is also great, but I haven't seen him kill anybody in a long time. \ its all policital with his character now, bah. SGA.. I like Rodney, Beckett and the other scientist guy which had so many lines on the last season I thought they would have added him to the opening scene. Poor guy has only made an appereance in one ep so far this season.. and that was only for a minute.
  16. Is anyone else annoyed with the Atlantis crew? Sheppard is "Goofy" and talks so simplistic you'd think he worked at Disney Land. Teyla is annoying and is a liability (Every time she connects to the Wraith's minds, she gets taken over. But the show is full of inconsistences related to her.). Ronon has 5 lines in an episode because he serves no purpose other than to be there to shoot a gun (which any marine can do). And Rodney, the best character out of that team, often talks too much. but I did love how he referred to Ronin and Teyla as "Conan and Xena" X'D And Weir needs to eat something. I can see her skull.

    He's back!

New episodes. I won't be watching them tho, I've had the fansubs for years now. I'd rather watch those than force myself to stay up late on a work night and have semi insulting/asinine black que card comments thrown at me during the commercials. I think its all a setup to make people want to buy Tivo or a DVR service.
  18. This situation reminds me of the book Star Wars: Truce at Bakura. Two rival fleets (Rebel, Empire) have to join forces to defeat a common enemy.. however, while in the middle of the battle, one opposing force positions themselves to destroy the other the moment the enemy is defeated. whatever will happen with the battlestars will most likely happen as soon as that ship is destroyed.
  19. Those sigs kick ass! i really like the choji one. ^___^
  20. Those are great! The power of the Sharigan.
  21. Hinata is so cute when she talks to naruto! but I like Ino the best so far. Sakura is good, but she seems like deadweight half the time. I need to watch more eps.
  22. yes.. hes so... "Unique!" X'D
  23. I love that quote, and its so true. *rubs emptiness next to heart*
  24. Wow, this is so different from all the previous Final Fantasy games.. I'm assuming its setup more like FFXI than anything else, but i haven't played XI to make a comparision. umm.. no more battle screens, the enemies are all right there in the general landscape and everything takes place in real time while you're walking around. Your other party members follow you around on the screen and when you get into a battle its setup a bit like a blend of Kingdom Hearts and Star Ocean Till the End of Time. You control your main character and set the other two up as "Gambit" which puts your guys in control of AI. however, you can switch to any of them at any time and issue commands or move them like in star ocean. interesting, because you can now dodge freely or run from specific enemies while attacking others. the graphics look good, top of the line for PS2. but theres no plot hints or anything else, the demo is just for the battle system. the camera is a bit wierd, and the fact that there is no battle tutorial makes it a bit odd to get used to. I'm sure they'll have it fine tuned by the time the game comes out tho. Oh, and the summons look good. Anyone else play the demo? and what do you think about it?
