Time Warner's WIFI sucks ass. Its ok with only one computer, but it can't handle multiple devices.. and by default it has firewall disabled and a variety of settings on that don't need to be.

After optimizing it, it still ran like shit. With netflix running on a wireless ps3, my internet on my laptop went from 31mbps download to 5 mbps. And many apps on my phone could not make correct connections online.

I turned off their WIFI, hooked up my belkin router and no problems. With netflix running, it only takes 5 mbps off my connection because its streaming HD. I now have no wifi problems with my phones either. Their WIFI router is shit.
