i have a customer who works at storage units and he is allowed to keep valuables and throw away junks. he finds all sorts of things, pretty cool stuff. anyway he got fed up with ppl he was trying to sell old pocket watches he found so he sold them to me real cheap lol. gotta say, $70 each wasnt such a bad deal.

top to bottom, copper one "columbia usa" dates back to 1896-1899. they all have serial numbers and he showed me how to identify them online. gold one "elgin" has inscription, obviously a gift from a mother to her son with 1924 on it. they both work (i have to wind em up) except silver one, another "elgin", havent checked its date yet, but he gave me that one for free. 😛

^ yeah ^_^ they are kinda small but have some weight on it too. im guessing the middle one has some real gold mixed in it or something. the guy also found old bills/banknotes in a very good condition from europe, china, and other unknown origins (looked like greek or russian letters..not sure) in an single envelope lol. one of them had "Berlin 1910" on it, only a few ones that we can able to read lol, very cool.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is on Netflix dubbed. There was so much hype around this series when it was on simulcast. I really enjoyed it. The animation is well done, especially for the fights. A lot of action and gore with a little light hearted comedy. Its worth a watch.

I have a tooth filling that was replaced last week and its been nothing but pain. I went back to the dentist yesterday and he filed down the filling because it was screwing up my bite, but last night was just bad pain. fml. I'm hoping this starts healing now, if not I might need a root canal.

As someone that studied Nazi history extensively. The Man in the High Castle is a fascinating show on Prime Video. I was expecting it to be fully about what would happen if America and Britain lost the war, but its more about the multiverse... so its like alternate history and quantum leap combined? I definitely recommend  despite its slow start for non-history majors.

I got a promotion with my job yesterday. I'll now be making more than I ever have doing this. $60k a year to do something I barely got paid $35k for at my previous company. The best news is that I'll have Saturdays off, and get off by 6-7pm on most days. I don't have to go to bed like some retiree anymore. So hopefully by the end of this year. Battlefield 6 will be out... it will be good... and maybe we can get the band back together @Sledgstone and @Strider Hiryu. Even though Strider is PC master race. I'm sure it'll have cross play. My gaming life has really suffered these past 3 years.

I just renewed the SSL certificate for the first time. That was pretty straight forward. I'll update the forum software soon too. Maybe this upcoming weekend. On a side note.. dentist appointment tomorrow for a sensitivity issue with a filling or two. Damn my crappy teeth. x_x
