Greetings programs! I had to, I loved the original, it was far beyond it'd years. All the actors said they didn't even know what terms like, byte meant at the time. I also originally thought the suits had lights on them, but they didn't have a single light on them. They sent out the frames and had them colored   but it looked great for it's time. Anyway, I've watched Tron 2 and the anime uprising and thought they were both pretty good. I can't wait for the new one.

The first Tron story wise was better than the 2nd. But then again it's probably because I became annoyed that the villain for the 2nd was a minor character in the first.

 

Part of me is hoping Tron 3 spills out into the user's world & explains why that female program was so important.

 

....

 

Also it better have an actual villain that doesn't come off as a minor character from the previous movies.

I'd love to watch another Tron movie. The first one was much better than Legacy. I was a Tron fan as a kid and it always annoyed me that they waited all these years later to finally make some sequels. I haven't seen the Tron animated series, I'll definitely look into that. Before Tron Legacy came out, the only official Tron action we got was in a Kingdom Hearts game.

 

I hope they explain what happens with the woman.. and what I'd like to see in a third movie imore of the programs transferring into the real world.. if a program can go through the digitizer thing and become a real human, then what about all those tanks, light cycles, etc? If they had an entire army invade the real world, it could be a battle as large as any of the Transformers movies.

Clue was a minor character in the first, but the clue in the second one wasn't the same character. Remember clue in the first one was absorbed, Flynn named the second program clue (guess he liked the acronym). So technically they were different characters.

I'm not a big fan of them letting a program into the real world because, if that were possible, all you would need is one of those lasers and a programmer to have anything you wanted.

True, but if that woman was born a program and then made it into the human world.. then just about anything would be possible.. but at the same time it looks like they get converted to humans, (no light suit or data disk).. so if its a conversion process, if someone lasered a light cycle into the real world, I'm guessing it would get converted into a Harley Davidson motorcycle or something. If thats the case, then an army from the computer world would probably suck and be anti-climatic.

I wanna see the program cure cancer and other other diseases so it raises the life expectancy which invariably results in a shortage of food for the planet which means the program must find a way to sustain the populous by other means and effectively helps in space exploration where we find half the population on a habitable planet or on a space station that uses solar panels to harvest and grow vegetation in addition to a water recycling unit.
