Walking Dead - Season 2

Recommended Posts

Kind of pissed that they're splitting this season up into two. The first part will be 6 episodes airing the same months as last season. Then the second part will air a few months after with the remaining episodes.

Looks like there's a lot of original content thats not from the graphic novel this season. Which normally would be a bad thing but with how they implemented original content last season, I think they're doing a good job.

I'm not gonna watch the promos, just straight up the 1st episode of the next season. 6 at a time eehhh, hopefully it doesn't fall flat because the topic was fresh in the minds of the viewers MONTHS ago and they all loved it BACK THEN. Just giving 6 episodes worth of a continuation may not be enough.

I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do.

yes, thats true. I know the show probably takes a while to make, but only 6 episode chunks is pretty annoying. Battlestar Galactica took a long time to make new seasons and even tho they did midseason breaks and took a year off between seasons, they at least did more than 6 episodes in a chunk.

http://gawker.com/5850590/walking-dead-premiere-sets-cable-ratings-record

Last night 11 million people watched the second season premiere of AMC's zombiepallooza The Walking Dead. Yes, that's cumulative number of people who watched the show over its three broadcasts, but even the 9pm showing pulled in 7.3 million viewers, which is absolutely huge for cable.

Damn!

Season 3 was already green lit.

@slippers No worries bud. They've been changing the story up a lot. If they followed the comics then a few other people would have been dead by now (Season 2) however they kept them around for reasons unknown. They did kill off a character that's still alive in the comic...so people's deaths are pretty much in the air right now.

I'm enjoying both because of the story change ups.

Yes! I'm looking forward to new episodes.. that was pretty shocking to see Sophia at the end. I figured she was a lost cause at this point and that they should move on. It'll be interesting to see what happens next. I still hope they leave this ranch behind and move into some new scenery soon tho.

Ok then. I did not see this coming. Who needs stealth mechanics and espionage when theres a horde of zombies to kill.

So Rick is now the top adviser, and basically the leader now. Dianne is just a puppet to keep everyone comfortable. Rick isn't taking no shit from these fools, and only holds back to keep mass hysteria from breaking out. While he is right, he's lost his damn mind. Morgan is going to be his outer conscience from now on I believe.

That canyon of walkers is by design I believe. I think the Wolves have been saving up on something big for Alexandria.... and when they saw Rick and company pulling them away, they acted at the end of the episode.

This episode featured Rick, Morgan, Abraham, Glen, Sasha, and Daryl mostly... there are some new players, most notably the black guy with the glasses, and the guy that tried to kill Glen. The cast is getting too big and there will be sure to be plenty of deaths to older characters to make room for newer ones. Carol is going to keep blending in unnoticed until some shit goes down. She's Rick's ace in the hole, and Morgan noticed it in a flashback. That was a key moment I believe.

After the next episode, It will be interesting to see how the town reacts to Rick... they'll probably fault him for someone else's sabotage if the cause isn't realized after the dust settles.

Seems like Rick takes charge and goes a bit cran on everyone with power. Talk about a 180 from his farming days at the prison.
