Transformers: Dark of the Moon Trailer

The trailer shows no hint at a plot... So I guess the decepticons had a moon base all along and now that they built up their forces they decide to go to earth to wage war in the middle of Chicago? O_O and they obviously built up their forces for a rush like in starcraft because they bust out a protoss carrier? The special effects look good, but after transformers 2, i'll pass. I love special effects and all, but if the movie is nothing but Shia LaBeouf and some broken looking woman with cologen lips.. ehh.. no thanks.

Those who fight deplorables should see to it that they themselves do not become deplorables.

The movie was long and SUCKED real hard. It was worse than the 2nd movie and I thought the 2nd one was bad!

Way to go Micheal Bay, you have officially killed the childhoods of tons of adults who grew up loving this franchise. You sir are a douche.

Guess I won't have to take the time in seeing this one then. The first sucked and the second one was worse (though the action made up for some of that).

I didn't care for the second movie at all.. Maybe I'll watch this one when it becomes available on netflix.. ugh.. If he would have just made the transformers the actual main characters and had the humans as secondary... -_-;

Its like ever since "The Blair Witch Project" so many directors have tried making movies more in the perspective of the guy experiencing the crap going on as opposed to giving everyone an awesome movie that focuses on the main plot line..

With movies like The Blair witch project, War of the Worlds (tom cruise) and Cloverfield.. there was the first person kind of perspective of the crap going on at the time, but not explaining anything on the side of the opposing force.. like aliens vs. government.. instead its just a bunch of guys or kids running for their lives.. then we have Transformers 1, Transformers 2 and a movie called Monsters.. all three don't really delve into the different perspectives of the opposing forces and we're stuck with a movie where people "witness" the events and have a minor impact on the overall plotline... except for transformers 2 where sam interacts with the matrix.. (wtf moment there).. gah. I just want to watch a movie that is well thought out and actually explains the crap that is going on.

Monsters sucked, I expected a lot from it. I love Spielberg's WOTW though, massive fan of the remake. I need to watch Cloverfield now cos I'd be able to recognize parts of the city hehe.

      It was a fun movie, they didn't stay true to the games at all with most of the plot coming from the fourth game but overall it was good special effects and kept a good pace with plenty of action. Although it did feel toned down with gun fights considering the amount of shooting takes place in the games. I'm guessing they did that to keep the rating family friendly. Tom Holland still looked way too young for the role imo.

      Very interesting. Spider-man, Doctor Strange and the multiverse. This should be a fun movie.

      I wasn't that interested in this movie because its based in the past, but now that I've been sucked into Battlefield 1, this movie looks amazing. I know DICE likes to put easter eggs in their games so I wonder if we'll see an amazon warrior reference somewhere in a future dlc. On a side note, I thought we had a Wonder Woman topic already for the teaser trailer, but I didn't see one.

      Awesome movie. I watched it a couple days ago. One of the best movies of 2020 for me. Very fun, energetic, great CGI and the monsters were all pretty damn cool and unique.

      The Disney princess part at the end is great. I loved the first movie.
