'Star Wars' in 3D

Recommended Posts

http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/18452.html

Lucasfilm has disclosed that the six Star Wars films will be released theatrically in 3D, beginning in 2012. After the release of the Phantom Menace early that year, subsequent films will be released either annually at around the same time (according to Hollywood Reporter) or at a pace to be determined by the pace of conversion (according to Variety).

Release will be as close as possible to day and date worldwide.

The re-release of the films in the latest format ensures that the property will once again have a higher profile than the Clone Wars toon, fiction, comics, and merchandise alone can give it.

I wonder if they'll release one of these the same weekend as "The Avengers".

star was in 4d is due out in 2122

and 5d in 3289

you think Lucas would have enough £$£ to actually make something adults like

SW didnt age with the audience, like harry potter did.

SW was and still is aimed at those who buy toys as that mega $£$£

If SW grew with its audience, then the KOTOR would have been a movie that made LOTR trilogy a footnote on IMBD

shame Lucas didnt grow his baby into something awesome

but instead shits on something we all loved as children

Thats the problem. Lucas sold out so many licenses to his property that others were able to make Star Wars into something truely amazing like KOTOR, or the Thrawn Trilogy of books. But will Lucas ever make KOTOR or Thrawn movies? Nope. Lucas is too conceited and would rather keep milking what he has made and keep selling more licenses. I'm wondering if hes going to still make that live action Star Wars tv series I read about a year or so ago.

A remake could be good if it's done right. But those games were so huge it'd be a bigger task than remaking Final Fantasy 7. Meanwhile I still haven't played the second KOTOR game.

Sounds like a good title to me. The movie is going to pick up right where the last movie ended.

Holy crap. Thrawn is officially part of the new Star Wars canon. And there will be a new Thrawn novel. I'm so happy. This obviously means the Chiss are canon now as well. I need this book. Hell, I might even have to watch Star Wars Rebels now.

Maybe he'll be a good Han Solo. I still have the old Han Solo Trilogy of books in my head so it'll be a hard watch for me since all that canon will be thrown out the window.

All I want is a solid Star Wars campaign based game. I hope respawn can do it justice.
