Ignorant Assholes

I dislike people pushing their religion into secular causes, especially when religion is a main cause of the problem.

One of the gay rights activist pages I support posted an image with a cross in front of the equal sign. All the self proclaimed Christians responded with praise. I wanted to puke. It is religion, their holy scriptures that are the primary force for inequality for the gay community. People who claim to be Christian and do not follow their scriptures aren't, they're cherry pickers monopolizing on horrific mythology. I said nothing, I want to respect people with whom I fight the good fight, but the posting admin and commenters are forever diminished in my eyes. They flashed their ignorance like a dick in public and were ever so thrilled to do so. Puketastick. Thankfully one of the A pages was able to counter the image later

The uh um duh didn't end there. An animal rights group posted an image with some gods creatures bullshit, a pic of the very same animals the Jews slaughtered for paint. Yeah god loves animals especially with their throats slit. Hello Stupidtown, reality calling.

And just to be a freak some asshole calls The Talking Dead and starts reading Bible passages. For fucks sake really? Is there NOTHING that can be free of religious assholes??? A motherfucking zombie show and the Christholes gotta jump in on that shit.

All you ignorant fucks go read a science or history book, better yet both. Fuck you have a shitty day.

I'd love the full separation of church and state.. but what I'd like just as much is the separation of church and everything. I have never gone 1 day in my life without someone referencing something religious. Whether its the local news talking to some priest that had a prayer vigil for a murdered teen, or anything on facebook. Its always there. Its not as bad as in Pakistan or some of the muslim countries where they broadcast over loud speakers that its time for prayer. But still, we have the right of religious freedom in the US. But its more like we have the right to not have a religious affiliation, but not the right to be protected from it.

I know I'm not being accosted by people that want to hammer me in the head with a bible. But what I would like is not have it pushed on me. Some people want to shield their children from violence or graphic scenes on television and there are warnings for it. But in terms of religion its up to the person presenting the news or the director of the movie / tv shows and there are no warnings for it. I can only assume that the people pushing their religious beliefs in these programs, news, movies, internet images, etc. know they are emphasizing their beliefs. They are not ignorant of that, but the true ignorance is like what you said.. they pick and choose their beliefs. If they pick and choose their beliefs they should consider themselves agnostic and stop slamming the cross image on everything especially considering that the more orthodox people of that same religion are the people that are spearheading the very arguements many self proclaimed christians are against.

I've been getting ready for spring for the last couple months and its taken up a crazy amount of my free time. We expanded our garden to be really huge last september in preparation for growing fruit and veggies. Then we decided to expand it another 6 more feet in one direction which we finally got finished last weekend. It was alot of work because our garden has an almost 6 foot tall deer fence all around it. We hammered in u-posts into the ground and attached the deer net and buried the bottom of the net so nothing will burrow under it. I should do measurements at some point to figure out its total volume. Its huge. lol.
We have 3 apple trees, 3 cherry trees, and 1 nectarine tree in there. We still have to move 3 of those trees into their permanent locations (they are only 1 or 2 year old trees so its still possible to dig them up) and we have to plant a new apricot tree in there. I prepped the two rows for veggies last month but theres alot of weed whacking to do still and plants to move. We have 4 grape vines, 4 blueberry bushes and multiple raspberry plants to move. I started a bunch of veggies from seed and those tomatoes are still in an unused bath tub in my house with a light over them getting bigger every day. I'm looking forward to getting everything planted and done so all this gardening can give me a break.

Well my dryer broke after about 15 years and multiple repairs I've done over those years. I had to buy a new dryer. So far so good. I was finally able to get my laundry done again and my bathroom no longer smells like dirty socks and febreeze.

FML my pressure tank is failing for my well. Its getting replaced next week. Getting a new whole house water filter installed too along with some new valves and safety upgrades. Props to the well company employee for giving me the tip of hooking up an air compressor to the pressure tank to put some air in the bladder to get the system gimping along until the repair work is done. I miss public water. lol.

This has been a busy summer. I'm almost looking forward to winter so I can get a break from all the lawn mowing and outside projects. Hopefully the snow blower I bought this year works good so I'll have alot of free time this winter to get caught up on things. When I've had free time I've been playing Final Fantasy X over the last 5 months and I've somehow finally hit 100 hours on it. Lol. Only took me about half a year.  I still didn't beat it yet but I'm at the end game stuff now with the monster arena and omega ruins.
