  1. Since Disney purchased Lucasfilms back in October of last year, they have been fast at work to get their newly acquired properties back into the theaters. Disney surprised everyone a few months ago with the announcement of a new Star Wars movie. And even more surprising was that they are getting the original actors to reprise their roles in the sequels. (See Harrison Ford to Return as Han Solo!) But it looks like this is a pattern Disney will copy for another lesser known Lucasfilms movie. Willow 2 is apparently in the works! In an accidental press release, it was confirmed that Val Kilmer (Madmartigan) and Warwick Davis (Willow Ufgood) will be reprising their roles from the classic adventure / fantasy movie. http://www.lucasfilm.com/films/willow/ April Fools! 2. It was a fun movie, they didn't stay true to the games at all with most of the plot coming from the fourth game but overall it was good special effects and kept a good pace with plenty of action. Although it did feel toned down with gun fights considering the amount of shooting takes place in the games. I'm guessing they did that to keep the rating family friendly. Tom Holland still looked way too young for the role imo.
  3. The Joker.. ehh.. Heath Ledger's joker looked much better.
  4. Very interesting. Spider-man, Doctor Strange and the multiverse. This should be a fun movie.
  5. I wasn't that interested in this movie because its based in the past, but now that I've been sucked into Battlefield 1, this movie looks amazing. I know DICE likes to put easter eggs in their games so I wonder if we'll see an amazon warrior reference somewhere in a future dlc. On a side note, I thought we had a Wonder Woman topic already for the teaser trailer, but I didn't see one.
  6. Awesome movie. I watched it a couple days ago. One of the best movies of 2020 for me. Very fun, energetic, great CGI and the monsters were all pretty damn cool and unique.
  7. I'll watch this once I can find it dubbed since I love Godzilla movies, but Godzilla itself doesn't look all that great to me. Its not the molten burned look its got going on, but the unmoving arms in the trailer that looks so bad. Its being directed by Neon Genesis’ Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi. Official site: http://shin-godzilla.jp/ And I saw this link on kotaku. The comments really stand out to me. You can see some eva scenes in the trailer. http://kotaku.com/japans-new-godzilla-movie-looks-awesome-1770853409
  8. The Disney princess part at the end is great. I loved the first movie.
  9. It looks promising and a couple of the scenes look like they were taken right out of the game. Alicia Vikander looks like Lara Croft in that outfit, but shes a very small woman (height and muscle) in comparison to Lara Croft in the video game. I hope her physical performance is believable considering how many men she'll have to kill. To hell with the double guns tho. I'd rather see her using only the bow and climbing axe the entire movie.. and maybe an assault rifle. lol.
  10. Looks like aliens are terraforming the planet and making monsters at the same time, which is a combination of awesome to me. Now for a brief rant.. The tv commercials were better than this trailer. In the commercials it looks like she is the pro going in to figure out wtf is going on, but in the trailer she's only going in to save her husband because Hollywood still doesn't think a female character can actually have professional motivation to do shit on their own without attaching a man to the woman's goals.
  11. This trailer gives away just about everything. So many spoilers. x_x This is my take on the trailer, in spoilers in case anyone wants to skip the trailer:
  12. I'm glad Wasp will finally get some screen time, Marvel needs more strong females in their movies.
  13. ohhhh.. Asgard has fallen? wtf?
  14. The last King Kong movie was good but a bit unrealistic with how so many people survived the island. This looks like a good reboot. Kong is the defender of the island... versus Destroyers? If we can get the dragon Primordus to make an appearance at the end it'll be awesome.
  15. This is noticeably a marvel made Spider-Man movie and looks far superior to the previous movies Fox has made.
  16. So much action. I'm glad Will Smith isn't in this movie.. his last couple movies really were't that good and if it was once again a Will Smith / Jaden Smith movie it would have sucked. *looking at you After Earth*
  17. Looks like Marvel got a little inspiration from "Inception". I like what I'm seeing tho.
  18. I was under the impression that these movies have been getting filmed for about 3-4 years already.. and they'd start releasing a new Avatar movie once a year. But they're still casting roles!? Wow. At this rate I won't even expect Avatar 2 to come out in 2020. Also, I haven't seen this actor in much besides Fear the Walking Dead. While hes probably the best actor in that show (thats not saying much honestly), I don't see him doing well as a lead in a major movie franchise like this. 19. I'm guessing this will be a reboot of the original Mummy movie and not the Brendan Fraser mummy? But then again, that was a reboot of the Mummy franchise too. Now we'll have Tom Cruise and Russell Crowe battling some ancient mummy. Source: http://icv2.com/articles/news/view/34425/universal-unveils-the-mummy-plot
  20. A "More Mature" audience. lmao. Power Rangers is a childrens property that has been so over-saturated with reboots and recasts that the property should be laid to rest at this point. Elizabeth Banks will be Rita Repulsa and she looks like she just left a Mortal Kombat tournament.
  21. So, went and saw that this weekend. While I don't think it's as good as the Lego Movie, it's still really entertaining and worth seeing. I loved the callbacks to all the previous Batmans, that was a nice touch.
  22. I thought I posted a trailer for this before but I can't find it. This movie looks amazing to me. I must watched this dubbed when it comes out.
  23. The first John Wick movie was great not just for the gun fights but because of how John Wick's reputation preceded him everywhere he went. He was a bad ass and everyone knew.. and then he'd show up and slaughter everyone like Brandon Heat in Gungrave in his sweeper days. This trailer looks good but I bet its not showing half of the action that will take place in the movie.
  24. I read that this was supposed to be an actual theatrically released movie but something went wrong and it became a Netflix property. The quality of the special effects are top notch and you can tell it was made with a decent budget. I enjoyed it. The military action was great and Call of Duty will probably rip off part of this for their next game.
