  1. From the album: Random Stuff

You know there is too much fan service when the male characters are no longer interested.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qjk3XRLmasI For the first time ever, the 1978 cult classic manga Space Pirate Captain Harlock is getting its own feature film adaptation. Written by Mobile Suit Gundam UC author Harutoshi Fukui and directed by Appleseed director Shinji Aramaki; Toei Animation made its biggest investment ever, throwing $30 million into the project. The story originally serialized by Leiji Matsumoto, has been updated to fit themes of modern society, and has been given a Hollywood style production. Harlock will release in Japan during the fall. No word on a North American release as of yet.

  8. http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/17430.html If this can happen to a comic scan site, I wonder if manga scanlators will be targeted in the near future as well... BTW, has anyone been to that htmlcomics site? I've never heard of it until today.
  9. http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/16902.html I thought the Battle Angel movie was scrapped. Looks like it'll still get made... eventually. I've been waiting for a movie like Battle Angel to get made. Just like the comic book movie craze and remake movie craze, the anime/manga => Movie craze will kick in.... as long as we all forget about Dragonball Evolution. But then again, in a few years I'm sure it'll be a remake too.
  10. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2009-11-02/eichiro-oda-one-piece-episode-0-to-be-animated Oh!!! I can't wait for this manga chapter to come out! Maybe we'll get to see if Roger had a Devil's Fruit power or not.
  11. I was thinking about starting a couple more mangas and getting current with them. Is there any promising mangas anyone is currently reading that they'd like to discuss on a weekly basis as new chapters come out? And if you're not reading any mangas, you could pick one of the series on www.onemanga.com and start a new series, see if its good.
