  1. Since Disney purchased Lucasfilms back in October of last year, they have been fast at work to get their newly acquired properties back into the theaters. Disney surprised everyone a few months ago with the announcement of a new Star Wars movie. And even more surprising was that they are getting the original actors to reprise their roles in the sequels. (See Harrison Ford to Return as Han Solo!) But it looks like this is a pattern Disney will copy for another lesser known Lucasfilms movie. Willow 2 is apparently in the works! In an accidental press release, it was confirmed that Val Kilmer (Madmartigan) and Warwick Davis (Willow Ufgood) will be reprising their roles from the classic adventure / fantasy movie. http://www.lucasfilm.com/films/willow/ April Fools! 2. Comcast dropped it's bid for the Fox properties. Looks like Disney will get all their comic character licenses back at this rate. https://io9.gizmodo.com/comcast-drops-its-bid-to-buy-fox-meaning-theres-nothin-1827713684

  4. I was a big fan of Kingdom Hearts and this remaster looks amazing compared to the original game on PS2. I would love to replay this game again on the PS3. Like I said above, I was a big fan of KH.. until KH2 came out. Kingdom Hearts 2 had much better game play compared to KH1, unfortunately, KH2 was actually KH3 because it was a sequel to a gameboy game. Considering the amount of KH games that have come out since KH2 on hand held systems, I can only assume KH3 will actually be Kingdom Hearts 9. Unless KH3 will be a stand alone game that requires no plot knowledge from the previous hand held games, I will have no interest in playing this game.

  6. The Disney princess part at the end is great. I loved the first movie.
  7. I loved this cartoon when i was a kid. The animation looks good, the music is great, the voice actors are a good match. I'll watch this.
  8. Maybe he'll be a good Han Solo. I still have the old Han Solo Trilogy of books in my head so it'll be a hard watch for me since all that canon will be thrown out the window. Source: http://deadline.com/2016/05/star-wars-han-solo-movie-alden-ehrenreich-frontrunner-cast-1201737425/
  9. I have a feeling that the game "Mighty No. 9" has inspired Disney to make a movie.
  10. Angelina Jolie is Maleficent. I believe she will play that role great. Now I'm wondering if the movie will show Maleficent turning into a dragon and if that dragon will look as good as Smaug from The Hobbit.

  12. Anyone else watch this show? I caught a couple episodes on netflix and decided to start from the beginning. I'm on episode 7 now and its a much better show than I thought it was going to be. Its not a drama or action / adventure series. Its more of a modern day fantasy series that is showing two ongoing plots.. the fantasy world and the real world. All the characters are from the fairy tale world and have been trapped in a modern day america small town with new memories of a fake life. It sounds a bit confusing, but it seems to work out pretty good. Instead of doing flashbacks like in Lost, we get flashbacks of the characters from their fantasy world incarnations.

    Tron 3

Greetings programs! I had to, I loved the original, it was far beyond it'd years. All the actors said they didn't even know what terms like, byte meant at the time. I also originally thought the suits had lights on them, but they didn't have a single light on them. They sent out the frames and had them colored but it looked great for it's time. Anyway, I've watched Tron 2 and the anime uprising and thought they were both pretty good. I can't wait for the new one. http://screenrant.com/tron-3-production-2014-sandy-158403/
  14. Disney has announced that it will be laying off 150 employees and closing the doors to its newly acquired gaming studio LucasArts. The decision was based on Disney's desire to licenses rights out to external developers to avoid the burden of failed projects. The games StarWars 1313 and First Assault have been cancelled and are assumed to all but dead. Disney has claimed that efforts to pitch 1313 to other developers have failed.

  17. http://kotaku.com/5991930/capcom-is-bringing-ducktales-back Does anyone else remember playing DuckTales on the old NES? I saw this article the other day and thought it was neat that they would remake an old classic like this. DuckTales was a great platform game and I played it quite often as a kid. I do remember never beating it tho, because it was difficult. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6N0PzqF9gWY This is not the first HD remaster of an old NES game by Capcom.. they've also re-released Bionic Commando in HD.. but what I don't understand is why Capcom would remaster DuckTales instead of remastering any of its main properties like Mega Man? Maybe this is because its a deal with Disney? If thats the case, then the following HD remasters might be released in the near future: Duck Tales 2 Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers 2 TaleSpin Darkwing Duck And a few other less notable ones. While Duck Tales looks good and I would like to play it again, I think I'd rather have the old Mega Mans re-released in HD with difficulty settings. If I could play all those old Mega Man games on easy, I'd like to play those again.
  18. The game looks decent. Its Deadpool so expect his style of humor and violence. I'm not a huge Deadpool fan myself, so I don't think I'll get this game, but it is nice to see Marvel going through with a violent game like this. Thank you Disney. Official Site: http://www.deadpoolgame.com/

  21. Obsidian Entertainment, makers of KOTOR II, has pitched an idea to Lucasarts to make a new Star Wars RPG focusing on Obi-Wan Kenobi. The story would take place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. When asked about it, Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart had this to say: Disney has previously stated that it will focus more on mobile and social media games, but Urquhart thinks he can convince them otherwise. However, he does acknowledge that the lack of KOTOR II's success will make this idea a hard sell. 22. After previously denying that he would command the directors chair for the next Star Wars film, LOST creator and Star Trek director J.J. Abrams has been officially confirmed for the role. After swirling rumors and many turned down offers, Abrams has emerged to take on the challenge that has scared away the likes of big names such as Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, and Zack Snyder. In November Abrams was quoted as saying: "Look, Star Wars is one of my favorite movies of all time. I frankly feel that – I almost feel that, in a weird way, the opportunity for whomever it is to direct that movie, it comes with the burden of being that kind of iconic movie and series. I was never a big Star Trek fan growing up, so for me, working on Star Trek didn’t have any of that, you know, almost fatal sacrilege, and so, I am looking forward more then anyone to the next iterations of Star Wars, but I believe I will be going as a paying moviegoer!" However it seems that Lucasfilm's co-chair Kathleen Kennedy had been courting Abrams aggressively for quite a while. With the success of his Star Trek reboot and upcoming sequel, Abrams is set to become the new king of Sci Fi if he can triumph within the two most iconic series of the genre. Star Wars Episode VII is scheduled to hit theaters in 2015. Michael Arndt is writing the script. For more check out these links: Comingsoon.net: BREAKING: J.J.
