  1. I never bought the season pass, but I would definitely like to play this DLC. I think I'll wait on reviews for it first tho. I don't want to drop cash on this if its only a single mission DLC. If its a mini campaign then I'll pick it up.

  3. Claptrap questions WTF is a Wang Chung in the promotional trailer for Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition.
  4. Starting April 2nd, Borderlands 2 will receive a pretty sizable amount of new content. A new psycho bandit character 'Krieg' will mark the first time players will be able to see through the eyes of an enemy they are use to fighting against. The level cap will be increased from 50 to 61 for everyone that has the season pass, or it can be purchased for $4.99/800 MS points. A third playthrough dubbed "Vault Hunter Plus" will also be added free of charge to all players. This even more difficult mode is undoubtedly for players that want to play beyond level 50 as well as to drive sales for the cap increase. Making VHP free, but not the cap increase will probably receive a lot of flak from players that do not like DLC, but until the day DLC sales suffer, (which is unlikely anytime in the near future) marketing tactics like these will be the standard.

  6. We're getting a new character in the upcoming single player DLC for The Last of Us. With no mention as to whether or not this DLC will be an epilogue or a side mission story with Joel and Ellie, the DLC might focus on a character that has never been seen before but is still tied into the plot of the game. I believe this might be the story of Ish. Little is known of Ish considering he was never seen in the game.. all we know about him is revealed by a series of notes found throughout The Suburbs chapter of the campaign. 8. http://www.wired.com/gamelife/2013/03/call-of-duty-microtransactions/ I'm not interested in paying $2 to cover my gun in bacon. I've already spent enough money on this game.. My only concern will be if they start selling things that will give people an advantage. Battlefield has done the microtransactions for a while now. Buy some new dog tags, etc. But when BF3 started selling vehicle and class unlocks I felt pretty pissed off. The amount of time it took me to get all those unlocks to get better weapons available and now people can pay money and have an advantage over others that don't have heat seekers unlocked on jets or something. The only reason I can understand these unlock purchases are because people have already put their time in on the game but on a different console or PC and don't want to play 80 hours to get the same unlocks again. I still don't like it tho. I hope Call of Duty doesn't start doing that either. Its all about money.. and with all the new money they'll make from selling $2 bacon skins, will they re-invest that money into improving the game and maybe getting some actual servers? No.. instead I'll be stuck getting killed by some bacon gun right after another laggy server migration. x_x
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYcAusACxFc The new Battlefield 3 DLC is coming out in March and after watching these two videos I am really looking forward to it! The new motorcycles look great and the new Air Superiority has really grabbed my attention. One of the things I've noticed is that the map shown on the air superiority video does not have any ground troops. No stinger missiles and plenty of wind turbines to break heat seeker lock-ons. Sounds like a good jet map to me. Hopefully with so many jets in the air it will be an enjoyable game mode with no one-sided BS. *crosses fingers*
