Polygon is reporting that J. J. Abrams and Valve are beginning work on movie adaptions of the popular games Half-Life and Portal. Both of these games have huge followings and with everything else on J.J. Abrams' plate (Star Trek, Star Wars), lets hope he does these games justice in the theater.

Variety is reporting that Legendary Pictures has signed Duncan Jones to direct the Live-action Warcraft movie. The only movie I've seen that Duncan Jones has directed was "Source Code" and I'm wondering if this director will make something that fans will enjoy. Its a shame Sam Raimi backed out while working on his Oz movie. I know not everyone is a fan of Sam Raimi, but I think he would have made something amazing out of Warcraft.

It looks like the Zombieland series is being made after all... but it will be an Amazon original series. I'm guessing that means it will possibly be a free to watch series for their Amazon Prime subscribers, either that or it will cost everyone a few dollars an episode. I highly doubt Amazon would put the money into an original series and then stream it with commercials. Here is the trailer back from October that I somehow missed. It only emphasizes the two main characters and there is no real hint at what the plot is about, but it still looks promising.

I've never played any of the games, but apparently this movie is more based on the 3rd game. The trailer looks like it'll be good.

And this trailer really emphasizes the Rock and Bruce Willis as major characters. It looks like only 2 or 3 actors are actually in this sequel to reprise their characters? hmm.. and how the hell is storm shadow still alive?

So I guess the decepticons had a moon base all along and now that they built up their forces they decide to go to earth to wage war in the middle of Chicago? and they obviously built up their forces for a rush like in starcraft because they bust out a protoss carrier? The special effects look good, but after transformers 2, i'll pass. I love special effects and all, but if the movie is nothing but Shia LaBeouf and some broken looking woman with cologen lips.. ehh.. no thanks.
