  1. The steam holiday sale started yesterday. Anyone looking forward to buying any more games? Or are you all done after the fall and black friday sales? As for me, I'm done. *looks at my game library* So many games.. so many games..
  2. Steam Autumn Sale 2013 has started and will last from November 27 through December 3. http://store.steampowered.com/ Although I'm a bit confused as to why the bottom of the page has an upside down spring sale text with and upside down menu. *checks TMNT game* Only 25% off, I think I'll wait to see if this game drops in price more.

  4. http://kotaku.com/heres-why-everyones-talking-about-half-life-3-today-1440116535 Do you think Half-Life 3 will ever happen?
  5. http://store.steampowered.com/livingroom/ Last week Gabe Newell Said Linux Is The Future Of Gaming at LinuxCon. Which was basically followed by the above website. But I bet all of this is pointing to Half-Life 4 being confirmed! (You can tell because there's 4 circles.) The one that skipped three! And they'll cast Gordon Freeman's voice actor to be Patrick Stewart! Although if it is a Steam Box (& said Steam Box is an actual PC) I'll probably cancel my PS4 preorder. Part One: SteamOS Announced http://store.steampowered.com/livingroom/SteamOS/

Update 1 - Steam OS http://store.steampowered.com/livingroom/SteamOS/ Update 2 - Steam Machines http://store.steampowered.com/livingroom/SteamMachines/ Update 3 - Steam Controller http://store.steampowered.com/livingroom/SteamController/ And it has all been revealed! Though IF I were them I would have probably save Steam Machine for last & made the controller as the first announcement. Which would have PO'ed the actual me since I'm willing to go back to playing games with a keyboard & a mouse. Otherwise, wow, a controller, meh. Also goodbye my console gaming life. You should have been dead to me when I threw out my N64. (Or so I currently think.) This post has been promoted to an article
  7. From now until November 1st, steam is having a large halloween sale. Looks like I'll be getting Left 4 Dead this weekend. Update, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is now in the sale for 80% off! http://store.steampowered.com/sale/halloween2013

  9. I haven't purchased any bundles from Bundle Stars yet, but they seem to have constant numerous bundles all the time which consist primarily of Indie titles. Most of their bundles have set prices usually under $5, but today I noticed they have a couple bundles for $1 a piece and figured I'd share the links because some of these game bundles definitely look like they are worth the price. http://www.bundlestars.com/ And this is the link to their $1 bundles: http://www.bundlestars.com/deals/

  11. In an interesting interview with a Sony executive, it appears that Sony's long term goal is to have "PlayStation" be a service as well as a hardware platform. Using their Gaikai tech, they envision streaming games to PCs, tablets, PlayStation hardware, etc. With this news, everyone's PlayStation account could be the equivalent of a Steam account.. and instead of downloading a game from your steam library and then playing it, the PlayStation service would allow you to chose a game from your PS library and instantly start playing it / streaming it from the PS Gaikai servers. Sources: PSU.com & Dengeki Online

  15. https://www.humblebundle.com/ The only bright side aside from some Steam Keys is it looks like no money is going to EA or Origin. I'll be buying this later for $1 if they don't come out with any Steam Keys for the above average.
  16. Steam is currently having it's QuakeCon weekend sale and I noticed something troubling.. The 8bit game Commander Keen is on sale for a staggering $89.99 and its more expensive than Skyrim. Of course it must be a glitch because thats the price of the QuakeCon bundle, and if you go to that game's individual page, you'll see the correct price of $3.74.. but man, when I was scrolling through that list of games on sale, that price tag really caught me by surprise.
  17. Steam has started their yearly Summer Sale. Expect huge discounts on numerous games over the next 11 days. The sale is good from 07/11/2013 to 07/22/2013. Don't forget, they have new sales daily and flash sales ever 8 hours. If you've been holding off on getting a game or some DLC, nows the time. If I didn't already own Defiance on PS3, I'd buy it today on Steam because its one of today's sale items.. on sale for $13.59. Thats 66% off.. and the DLC is 66% off.. I paid $59 a little over 3 months ago just for the game and no DLC.. I wish PSN would sell me the DLC pack for 66% off.. but that won't happen. Sales like this put console game prices to shame. http://store.steampowered.com/

  19. The new Humble Bundle with Android 5 is now available and that includes steam keys and android versions. If you want these games, donate some money to charity and enjoy a great deal. NightSky is in the bundle and its a great relaxing game. For $1 minimum, I recommend it. http://www.humblebundle.com/

  21. Polygon is reporting that J. J. Abrams and Valve are beginning work on movie adaptions of the popular games Half-Life and Portal. Both of these games have huge followings and with everything else on J.J. Abrams' plate (Star Trek, Star Wars), lets hope he does these games justice in the theater.

  23. Kotaku has a good article about the new details revealed today about Valve's Steam Box, a PC dedicated to the steam platform for PC gaming: Wow. This could be huge. I honestly wouldn't mind owning a pc dedicated to steam games. Maybe with a steam box being mass produced we could get a powerful gaming PC at a decent price. Source: The Verge

  25. Steam is having a huge holiday sale. Anyone jumping at the savings? if so, what games are you going to buy? As for me, I already have enough games to play, so I'll probably pass on the sales.. Some of those publisher bundles look pretty good! $700 in games for $60 or so? Not bad. The one game that I've been eyeing is Portal 2. And you can't beat the price of $7.49. But I'll hold off on getting it for now. I have so many good games to play already.
