  1. Agreed and understood. I was simply pointing out that when most people use the term "Atheism", they are simply adding the "ism" to infer the state of non-believing. Basically, its just "for lack of a better word", not suggesting the true definition of "ism" in conjunction with "atheist" to infer the oxymoron you described. x_X;

  2. I would like to point out that the stereotypical individuals that go out of their way to say there is no such thing as "Atheism" are only beating their own drum as loud as they can. Its a very simple concept. "Atheism" is the state of non-belief, not some ridiculous "doctrine".

    Atheism is just a place holder word describing the state of lacking belief in any god. Don't nit-pick.

  3. I agree with Dubu on this one. I am an Atheist, pure and simple. I may not know what "it" is, but I know what "it" isn't.

    I believe everyone should believe what they are comfortable with. To each their own. It does not matter what someone's belief or lack of belief is, if they're an asshat, they're an asshat, period. Just because they are an asshat for Jesus or an asshat for nothing at all, it doesn't change the fact.

    In my opinion, if you try to -push- anything on someone, you're a douche. Agree to disagree and move on with your life.

  4. I have the same affliction! XD

    I have a VHS tape from back then when Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz played on Toonami.

    Dragonball Z was the first anime I got into, Was in 10th grade and a classmate introduced me to it.

    Tina and I have that VHS too, lol. I also have it on DVD.

    My -first- experiences with anime were Vampire Hunter D, then Street Fighter 2: The Animated Movie, Ghost in the Shell, and GUNNM - Battle Angel Alita. The first series I ever watched was Dragonball Z when it -first- aired on Toonami. Followed by all the anime that came crashing with it, IE: Sailor Moon, Tenchi Muyo, Gundam Wing, etc.

  5. You might have been in the store just for a moment but some assholes leave kids n pets in a hot car for hours.

    Don't look at it as whoever needs to mind their own business, think of it along the lines of it takes a village to raise a child.

    :bingo:

    Exactly. I see where you are coming from, freaking you out like that. But in the long run, it was a great thing they did. Children and pets are left in scorching hot cars with windows rolled up all the time. The scary part is, a lot of people see this and don't say or do anything. So look at the bright side and consider yourself fortunate that you have someone in the community that cares.

  6. I wish the law passed here. I also live in one of southern states with "them" everywhere so it's a huge prob here too. It's not that I don't have issue with racial profiling but because of too many crimes committed by them. My brother's new car was vandalized, and my neighbors' houses been robbed couple times all within past 6 months alone after the new apartment complex was built near and many hispanics and blacks moved in there. I see new gang members hanging around at gas station, grocery stores, and urg my list can go on. They don't have to show papers to cops. Cops can check it and ship them back or to jail if they aren't trigger happy to shoot little girls or taser grannys. Whatever they deserve.

    ^This.
