I signed up to win one on a facebook contest even though I already bought one. You better believe I'll be putting it on ebay if I win it.

If they sold the system without kinect at this point, they would probably infuriate countless developers that have added kinect features based off their developer kits. If MS wanted to really sell the kinect as a new standard they should have done what Sony did with the PS3 when they were establishing blu ray as a new standard. Sell the system at a loss for the first 6 months or so until the costs to produce the system drops.. then they'll make money. As it is with their $100 extra per unit cost, they'll be losing sales. If they lost money initially it could benefit them in the long run with new xbox live memberships, word of mouth from fans and extra features the PS4 does not have all for the same price. Right now, Sony is going to get the jump on MS just like MS did on Sony in the last gen consoles.

The MS Fan Boys who demand Kinect be included at this point might as well be the same people who demand the Wii U Pad. They're so proud of their technology even if its deemed worthless to multi-platform games. They don't have to worry about people like me though. They can keep their mandatory Casual controls all to themselves as there is no way I'm buying an Xbox One at this rate.

Diablo 3 is finally getting an expansion pack with a new class "The Crusader". The level cap will be raised to 70.

Yeah really... and after reading an article about it. I have to lean towards the idea that this game was build for consoles... the watered down leveling system and as you mentioned the skill trees seem to meld better for controllers. The additional features I saw on the Playstation version solidify this train of thought for me.

I agree there sadly but it's Blizzard trying to turn Diablo into an MMO instead of leaving it true to its Action RPG roots. 99 levels and leaving it an offline game would of made this game so much better. Well that and if it kept the D2 skill trees (then again this is what happens when you let the D2 development team walk out the door to start their own studio).

EA announced today that the BF4 beta will start in October and will be exclusive to current premium members and those that preordered the digital deluxe edition on Origin.

I was just looking at my stats to see what my flag medals / ribbons are at and I just realized I have 226 hours logged into BF3. lmao.. way over the 100 hours I was thinking.

Nah, I started it on a random season when it played on Adult Swim years ago when I fell in love with it. One of the movies is on netflix. but its kinda slow paced compared to the series. Its a heist anime featuring Lupin, Jigen and Goemon as the man culprits, and Fujiko is a wild card that is sometimes on their side, but mostly out for herself. This series seems to focus more on her than past seasons have.

RPGing choppers is a pain in the ass. lol. I always just miss the guy. I think I've shot 2 choppers down with RPGs out of the 30+ shots I've taken at them. I'll give you props for being able to take them down. Theres some decent videos on youtube for RPG takedowns too.
 
I had a joker / batman moment like that once. I was on a team getting base rapped on Kharg Island. Every time I spawned I jumped into one of the tanks that are on those deployment ships at the coast line.. These 2 jets kept doing runs on me and everyone else. After one jet flew by, I'd jump out and repair, jump back in, switch to machine gun and start firing at the next one, jump out and repair, etc. They killed me twice, then I got fed up with it and spawned with stingers.. they kept flying straight and the stingers could never catch them. So annoying.. so I jumped back in a tank and I lucked out near the end of the match. I lined up a couple shots with the main cannon, missed the first guy, but nailed the second one right in the cockpit. That explosion was awesome. The jet parts were flying right at me. The guy I shot down sent me a message.. he said "Nice shot". That was an epic moment for me. hahaha.

I like RPGing choppers... its so hard but satisfying because its not guided so you have to get a good lead on spot to fire from. The plus is that is bypasses any flares they could deploy. Once on Gulf of Omen I had a Batman vs. Joker moment when a jet was coming at me on Flag C. I was on top of the building and saw it coming. I pointed and fired.. direct hit. It was almost too easy, I bet he was pissed.

But thats what Berserk is. lol. Berserk the manga is amazing, The "Idea of Evil" was one of the most interesting chapters in the series and the depth of what actually takes place in the manga is never fully shown in the anime or movies. That and every chapter is a work of art with incredible detail.
 
I'll watch these EVA movies at some point. The thing that annoys me is that Anno and EVA is reminding me of George Lucas and Star Wars.

Yeah if you have 4-5 friends, and hold down the bottom of the boat, the other team gets so confused, because they all use the same tactics... eventually after camping in their usual spots they get bored and figure it out. Then rage ensues because they cant get to us through all the shotguns and rockets.. trophy takes care of nades, we all rock tac mask too for flashbangs . Since everyone votes for the map twice, at the start of the next round the other team would try to rush down there before we got there, but to no avail. XD

It always annoyed me that I had to have the spawn beacon. I've had some real idiots on my team over the past year. I've gotten used to never having that spawn beacon anywhere near me, because some newb would spawn and then start shooting while parachuting, completely giving away his / my location. Just about the only time I'll use that spawn beacon is when I can put it inside a building and not immediately near my sniping location. I got good at sniping and its enjoyable.. I have no problems playing aggressive recon with semi auto sniper rifles in TDM or rush either. But man it sucks when a tank finds my location.. All I can do is run or hide. And usually when a tank finds me, thats when some idiot spawns of my beacon and hes a recon also.. then we're both f*cked.
 
That c4 arrow on the crossbow is so weak. I've never been able to destroy a tank with it. Disable yes, but then I'm out of arrows or the person in the tank jumps out and shoots me because of the weak range of the bolt. I was able to destroy a mobile aa with it once.. I shot 3 into the weak part of the armor in the back and even got a trophy for it. (homemade javelin)
 
I hated gun master. That mode always pissed me off. I was never that good with pistols. Once I got past the pistols it wasn't so bad, but by that point the round is already just about over.
 
EOD Bot is awesome! I have 21 kills with mine. The trick is to place it on a road, avoid all debris, drive at full speed unless you are under a tank torching it, never try turning around.. if you drive past your target, just keep going straight and go for something else. If you try turning that damn thing around, its pointless. So many people will see it on the mini map, hear the torch and turn towards it and start shotgunning. Wrong! lol! As soon as they are in my line of sight, I'm flying at full speed with my torch going and with the torch and impact damage I usually get a road kill. Or the guy is on the verge of death.. then I slam it in reverse with the torch going again to finish him off. I've gotten so used to that bot, that I know its weakness.. side step and it is pointless. If i see a bot coming for me I walk to the side real quick and shot it with a pistol. They are so weak. I remember once doing an EOD bot battle. Me and this other guy were doing this horrible blow torch dance in a crater, our bots were flying all over the place because of the horrible controls. I eventually said screw it, drove my bot out of the crater, walked over to it with my guy and threw a grenade in and got an enemy equipment destroy because his stupid bot couldn't get out. lmao.

Some pretty good info on the solider specs, I like the advance spotting and quick unspot. Fast repair and medkit upgrade I can see myself using a lot.

I wish they would have stayed with Treyarch's score streaks, I'm glad deathstreaks are gone though, I am also glad that UAV's are ground based. I hate UAV whores and its the main reason I've always used the stealth package of perks. It seems they borrowed a crap ton from Battlefield and Treyarch. The guns always look like they kill like they did in MW2, but I'm not falling for that anymore. I don't see anything that resembles stopping power on the perk chart either.

If MS would have not had "always on" Kinect from the start and explained that the DRM would benefit those that publish their own content on Xbox one by protecting their intellectual property, they would have come out a lot better. Instead they told people to screw off if you had a bad internet connection, and then came back with a figurative "We're sorry". It definitely makes them look desperate. I agree that completely digital is going to happen in the future, and I'm for that. Always online and always on isn't the answer for the future, but if you're going to try it, you can't bully a customer base into liking it as they attempted to do. As I've said, if Steam can function offline, then so can any console that has DRM. The answer was right in front of them, they could have at least tried to sell it like Steam even if it was more draconian. MS should fire their entire Xbox PR division, this is a marketing nightmare. First impressions are king, and a lot of people who have not been following closely are still going by word of mouth that always on/online is still a feature.

Yea Sledge it maxes at level 20 so in your case you'll have 7 levels soldier and when your done 13 levels of whatever Jedi class you chose (I'm assuming Guardian).
