  1. You never know. Its amazing how fast nature can take back what belongs to it. Check out that special that comes on History channel every once in a while about what would happen if humans disappear. It would only take 200 years or so for all that we have created to vanish.

The world went into a dark age after the Roman Empire collapsed. It's hard to predict what would happen if 1/2 of earth's population died off in a polar shift that would put the north pole in Mexico and the south pole somewhere in China.

  3. Nibiru is an interesting concept. Sadly now that it seems to be gaining popularity, there are a lot of BS vids out there of people just trying to get attention. Or people trying to call BS without any facts because they didn't do any legitimate studies. There are some good disputing videos though.

Its surprising Yowusa.com completely changed its stance on Niburushock2012. They were bashing him pretty bad in their response videos in the beginning.

  4. Every time they find a most cost efficient way to produce a console they probably change the model, along with social market trends to provide a less expensive product by tailoring it to social preference.

I just checked and in the US we still have the 80GB and 40GB models. Sony has only changed the configurations once. 60/20 to 80/40. The 20 was quickly discontinued because it lacked wifi and sold poorly because of it.

  5. Went to see it last night, and it was totally worth seeing. Christain Bale has been my favorite Batman since the last one, and this just confirms it. Heath Ledger was a GREAT Joker, and did a great job with it. My only complaint was the filmmaking itself. By the end of the movie, all the quick shot changes and rotating cameras was making me queasy. >< But it was totally worth it.

One thing I've noticed about this restarting of Batman is how they're making an effort to make everyone more real. Tim Burton's Batman took a step in that direction, but there was still something fanciful and comicy about the villians. Not so, here. The villans have substance and are mostly believable. I think making that effort to ground it more in reality has helped a lot.

Indeed. I also like how Batman is a real man. Bruce Wayne doesn't put on the suit and become practically invincible, able to win every fight without taking a hit. He gets injured, and he feels the effects of being out all night.

  6. Europe seems to get screwed a lot when it comes to the gaming industry.

The original 60 gig was the best model, because of its very high backwards compatible rate. Lucky for me, I was an early adopter.

We have/had 80 gig and 40 gig models here, but the 80 gig had BC.

Galactic Equator explained. WARNING This one is only worth watching up until 6:27 minutes. I'm getting sick of Saint Birgitta's crap. They take scientific documentaries and slap bible verses all over them, and sometimes the title isn't anything what it said it was. False advertisement is not a good way to spread God's word. -_-; I couldn't find the same documentary without it, so I apologize.

I'm not really looking for a end of the world, doomsday, apocalypse, or religious discussion.

  8. Well, I have basic cable so sadly I don't have those channels. MTV started all this BS. How about instead of changing your channels programming to make a new channel showing the old programming style, you just make a new channel with the new shit no one wants to watch in the first place, and leave the original channel alone?

  9. Reality TV has ruined everything. I can't watch Discovery or History anymore because of Ice Road Truckers and Deadliest Catch. I was thinking this same damn thing last night. I mean It's cool to play it once a week, or play re-runs during the day time when people are at work. But every fucking night at primetime? WTF. Those were the last two channels I use to watch on TV, now I have no reason too. Everytime I turn to TLC during this dilemma, I am greeted with some show about a white woman married to an Asian/French/Hawaiian guy. This isn't lifetime/bravo/We/E!, get that shit off the TV, Its THE LEARNING CHANNEL, I don't care if the woman has to take her kids to the doctor, everyone does that shit. I wan't to watch something about space, nature, or marvels of mandkind. Not what kind of plant goes out in your garden... This isn't HGN, its TLC motherfuckers.

  10. Sci-Fi hasn't appealed to me since they stopped playing classic sci-fi. the original Star Trek series has been completely remastered, and I don't think they've shown it once on Sci-Fi. It played on ABC or NBC last year, in limited locations. So not everyone, including myself, has seen it.

Sci-fi use to be my favorite channel when they played Buck Rodgers, BGS, Star Trek, Logans Run, Kojak the Night Stalker, Tales from the Darkside, Hitchcock, and outter limits on a regular basis. The last good movie they put out was Official Denial back in 94.

  11. Yep, I bought the ultimate shotgun uprade for the striker just so I could get the 100 shells.

They could always offset the ability to buy ammo by having more enemies to compensate for the increased ammo supply. With the inventory space so f*cking small, purchasing ammo wisely could be another aspect of the game.

Did you notice in the videos it looks like they strap the weapons on their backs instead of storing them in an attache case? Maybe that will help clear up alot of the inventory storage problems of having two or three guns taking up 3/4 of your case.

Yeah, they must have taken cue from Mass Effect and Rainbow Six Vegas on that aspect. I'm not sure if it will save space in storage, but it will save a lot of pause time changing weapons. I think MGS4 had it best, where you had 5 slots in you weapons menu, 8-10 in your items menu, and you could choose what goes in those slots from you inventory from the start menu. The difficulty setting determined how much ammo and heath restore items you could carry in your inventory. It was an overhauled and vastly improved backpack system from MGS3.

  12. Its a shame Bush won't be impeached. But at the same time, it'll probably go down in some history books that there were impeachment hearings.

What pisses me off tho, is Bush has a crapload of things he should be impeached for, but congress is more or less brushing it all aside. But when Clinton was president, impeachment was heavily pursued because of a simple sex scandal.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment_of_Bill_Clinton

They went so far just to impeach Clinton, but Bush literally gets away with murder and everyone shrugs it off.

He's was the only president that wasn't a member of the Illuminati :P.

  13. what do you guys that have seen the movie think about this?

That is a load of garbage. Just because the movie wasn't corny and cheesy like the Burton films, doesn't mean it was some kind of statement. People have to go and try to ruin everything. I could take movies that happened before 9/11 and link them to it, even though there is no possible connection. You can make anything say anything you want.

This is comic book Batman, not Adam West tribute Batman. This is how Batman was suppose to be. I loved the old TV show, but I think it has ruined the persona of Batman for a lot of the non-comic readers.

  14. With all the biological things covered in RE, you'd think they'd cover that ability by having the main characters given some sort of regenerative inoculation or something.

BTW, do you think they'll actually have someone selling ammo in the game? RE4 had that merchant with every weapon in the game, but the bastard wouldn't sell a single damn shotgun shell or TMP ammo. You could only get ammo off an enemy kill or finding them somewhere in the game. But if you sniper a enemy, you have to run to get the damn ammo drop or it'll disappear. And with no real enemy respawning, you couldn't never go back to another area with weaker enemies just to try and harvest some ammo. Annoys the hell out of me.

I doubt it -_-;. Thats RE's mainstay, limited ammo that you have to use wisely. He did refill your gun with ammo if you upgraded it, thats about as good as it got. They should at least make a mystery bag of ammo or something. You could buy it and it would contain random types of ammuniton.

  15. I'm not down with Geneva. We were the only ones that followed the rules anyways. War is war. I agree with not attacking civilians, but napalm and all that other good stuff shouldn't be banned. I don't believe in leading the way when no one wants to follow... for the past 60 years.

Any president can take a shit all over Geneva and it wouldn't bother me, he'd have my support probably. W may have done terrible things worthy of impeachment, but Geneva is a load of crap. It works just as good as communism does. The protections protocols are ideal, the whole thing just needs to be heavily revised.

Then again, what nation follows any treaty it signs in the end. Especially the nuclear disarmament ones.
