  1. I'm not too optimistic about this movie after watching T3..

When I watched that Salvation trailer, it didn't give me the same chill to my spine whenever I watch the T2 opening scene. I hoped for that guy who played John Connor with a scar in that scene to take that role but I guess he might be too old to play the role now.

Btw, is the story only the biggining part of John Connor's life? I saw Terminators using bullets to kill people. That's disappointing because you can't kill Terminators with that kind of weapon. Urg, I hope they didn't make this movie to set up for a sequel.

Christian Bale saved Batman. I'm sure he can save Terminator as well.

  2. Sony could have completely destroyed the competition, and just stomped all over everyone product if they would have kept on path. They pulled a Nintendo and look where its gotten them. If you go back and read those posts it was the best games + the best specs. Not just the graphics.

The Market has changed from exclusive to multiplatform. No one wants to commit anymore.

  3. I think part of it is still Wii controls as Xbox 360 can now be bought for less & is getting into the casual thing too.

Their is a lot of crappy 3rd party games on the Wii & Nintendo is to blame for quality control. If it were up to me Nintendo would have turned down any 3rd party EC, E, & E10+ games. That way they could have eliminated the oceans of crap & hopefully bring some more exposure to Good 3rd party games that go unnoticed.

I think part of the point is that Nintendo is making a profit too while PS3 is losing money & Xbox 360 is breaking even.

Above all though I think Nintendo's worst decision right now has be the Miis as they badly made & come in most pointless games that would have been better off as Mario games or not made at all.

exactly, Wii's problem is the exact opposite of Sony's. I don't know if you've read up on Sony's quality control, but from what I've heard, its become so strict and uptight, most developers don't even want to deal with the PS3 anymore. Sony's gotten too high and mighty off the PS2, they've pushed their developers away, a Mistake Nintendo has made in the past, which Big N is trying to correct... in the wrong way. The shovelware has to go.

The Mii's must have something going for them if XBL ripped it off and slightly improved it.

  4. Its really become a moot point. While Big N has sold more consoles than anyone, their attachment rate is atrocious. Nintendo was pretty serious when it said it wasn't competing with the blockbuster gaming market. The Dead Rising attempt was just silly. You can pretty much toss the Wii in with the hand held category. I haven't played mine since SSBB came out.

I consider the 360 the winner of the gamer's market. More gamers regularly use XBL than play Wii. In fact since Wii launched, Xbox 360 has sold double the amount of third party titles than Wii. Nintendo will never get the "glory" its fanboys wish it would get. Its just the way it is. Its a so called "casual gamer" console, and its game sales prove it.

King Of Fighters Movie Sounds Like A Disaster-In-Waiting

To refresh: Gordon Chan is directing a King of Fighters movie. Previously, details were scant, but today, details on the flick have surfaced. We wish they'd remained scant.

Seems filming has already begun in Canada, and the movie will star Maggie Q, Sean Faris, Will Yun Lee and Darth Maul himself, Ray Park. Those guys all have movie martial arts experience, that's the good news.

    The bad news is this:

It also looks like the King of Fighters movie will introduce a new science fiction spin into the setting established in the games’ universe by following the surviving members of three legendary fighting clans who are continually whisked away to other dimensions by an evil power. As the fighters enter each new world they battle that universe’s native defenders, while the force that brought them seeks to find a way to invade and infect our world.

    Huh? Wha?

You have until 2010 to prepare yourself for disappointment.

Alright! as if it wasn't bad enough that 99% of all movie video games SUCK, lets go ahead and admit we've already decided to screw up the story line and change it into a pile of garbage!!!!

Seeing as the 1st MK was probably the only good Video Game to move adaption, you think they would have followed that model... nope. SCI FI!!!

Georgia Sen. Chambliss wins re-election in runoff

ATLANTA – Georgia Republican Sen. Saxby Chambliss handed the GOP a firewall against Democrats eager to flex their newfound political muscle in Washington, winning a bruising runoff battle Tuesday night that had captured the national limelight.

Chambliss' victory thwarted Democrats' hopes of winning a 60 seat filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. It came after a bitter monthlong runoff against Democrat Jim Martin that drew political luminaries from both parties to the state and flooded the airwaves with fresh attack ads weeks after campaigns elsewhere had ended.

Minnesota — where a recount is under way — now remains the only unresolved Senate contest in the country. But the stakes there are significantly lower now that Georgia has put a 60-seat Democratic supermajority out of reach.

With 92 percent of the precincts reporting, Chambliss captured 58 percent to Martin's 42 percent. Chambliss' win is a rare bright spot for Republicans in a year where they lost the White House as well as seats in the House and the Senate.

Chambliss portrayed his win as an encouraging sign for Republicans looking to regroup as they head into the next election cycle.

"I'm excited to be the first race that leads us into the 2010 campaign because it'll be a tough fight," Chambliss said at a victory party in Cobb County.

Martin called Chambliss to concede before 10 p.m., then emerged to tell supporters as his voice cracked: "For me and my family and campaign team and all of you this is a sad moment."

Chambliss' mantra on the runoff campaign trail was simple: His re-election was critical to prevent Democrats in Washington from having a blank check. Chambliss, 65, had angered some conservatives with his vote for the $700 billion bailout of the financial services industry and his early support in 2007 for the guest worker provision in President Bush's immigration bill. But fearful of unchecked Democratic dominance, some came back into the GOP fold Tuesday

Martin made the economy the centerpiece of his bid, casting himself as a champion for the neglected middle class. He also linked himself at every opportunity to Barack Obama and his message of change. The Democratic president elect was a no show on the campaign trail in Georgia but did record a radio ad and automated phone calls for Martin.

In the end, Martin, a 63-year-old former state lawmaker from Atlanta, wasn't able to get Obama voters back to the polls in large enough numbers to overcome the Republican advantage in Georgia, which has become an increasingly a reliable red state since 2002.

Turnout was light throughout the state Tuesday. A spokesman for Secretary of State Karen Handel predicted between 18 and 20 percent of the state's 5.75 million registered voters would cast ballots — far less than the 65 percent who voted in last month's general election.

The runoff between the former University of Georgia fraternity brothers was necessary after a three-way general election prevented any of the candidates from getting the necessary 50 percent.

Chambliss came to the Senate in 2002 after defeating Democratic Sen. Max Cleland in a campaign that infuriated Democrats. Chambliss ran a TV ad that questioned Cleland's commitment to national security and flashed a photo of Osama bin Laden. Cleland is a triple amputee wounded in the Vietnam War.

He was a loyal supporter of President Bush and, as a freshman, rose to become chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee. the former agriculture lawyer from Moultrie has been the ranking Republican on the panel since Democrats won control of the Senate.

Some 3.7 million people cast ballots in this year's general election, and both sides have since tried to keep voters' attention with a barrage of ads and visits by political heavy-hitters.

Former President Bill Clinton and former Vice President Al Gore both stumped for Martin.

Several ex-Republican presidential candidates made appearances for Chambliss, including GOP nominee John McCain, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

Chambliss brought in Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, McCain's vice presidential pick, as his closer. She headlined four rallies for Chambliss across the state Monday that drew thousands of party faithful.

Associated Press writers Greg Bluestein, Kate Brumback and Errin Haines contributed to this report.

  7. I listened to it on myspace and pretty much decided that It was a better Idea to spend $70 on the new White Zombie box collection 4 CDs 52 songs, and a DVD with 20 videos, rather than $11 on Axl and 3 other guys.

Sounded too pop-rockish to me. I'll stick wtih my Appetite for Destruction. I really can't describe how disappointed I am. I'm just not feeling it.

LONDON – Britain has begun a national identity card plan for some foreign nationals in an attempt to combat terrorism and identity fraud.

Opponents say it represents a costly erosion of civil liberties. The program has been debated heatedly for several years.

The cards are expected to store biometric data and information about the cardholder's nationality and work eligibility.

The first group to receive the new cards will be foreign students and permanent residents' spouses who apply for visa renewals.

Officials expect more than 50,000 cards to be issued in the next four months and that the program will be expanded in coming years.

Officials say the application process opened Tuesday morning .

  9. like DX said...site was overloaded...i was sitting on it for a while :P took me an hour till i was finally able to get through with the registration to enter my address

You did better than me, It took me all night and the next morning to get it. X'D

They should have had a better plan, 24 hours for millions of people on a single server. I'm sure there will be an public uproar over this. :P

  10. GnR is one of the greatest bands ever... When it was really GnR. Now its just Axl with 3 other guys. Axl's voice is fucked, and none of the songs sound anything like GnR. It equates to trash.

Appetite for Destruction is probably the greatest ablum ever released, you really can't name a album thats not titled "greatest hits" that has that many greatest hits on it.

  11. http://www.drpepper.com/freeDrPepper/

An odd some months ago, Dr. Pepper claimed they'd give everyone in the US a free dr. pepper if Guns n' Roses would release their album (17 years in the making) before the end of this year. We'll it came out, and Dr. Pepper is holding its in of the bargin. You have until 6pm EST to register, and the site has been bogged down for hours. Apparently you have to wait 4-6 weeks for it, I kinda wish they would have made a print out coupon.
