  1. Eesh I hope it's not a tumor.

My ears haven't been the same since I used the ear plugs a couple years ago. I went to see a several different doctors but they don't know what's going on. Sometimes they are useless. But I think you should go see a doctor just to make sure it's not something serious.

what is wrong with your ears? Is it a muff sound, like they are clogged up? It could be a wax build up caused by the ear plugs. If this is the case, try mixing hydrogen peroxide with warm water and pouring it into your ear. If you have a squirt bottle of some type it would work best. let the fluid settle in your ear for 5-15 minutes. If you hear fizzing or crackling sounds in your ear, its the solution dissolving the wax. I had to do this for one of my ears that clogged up bad. It worked wonders.

  2. Naah I got off my data plan cos it was like 20$, non-inclusive of unlimited text messages like a SideKick offers. I originally bought the BB for it's GPS considering I get lost walking on the streets or when I come out of the subway and people give me directions like "Start walking East" like I'm supposed to know where East is all of a sudden X'D ... so, nope, the BB messenger doesn't work without the data plan, right?

Im not sure. I know for AT&T it doesn't.

DX has a birthday? I thought he just materialised out of his own awesomeness.

X'D This is true, but we just call it birthday because "materialized out of own awesomeness day" is a mouthful to say. :P

  3. I bought myself a BlackBerry Bold and its the most bad ass phone ever. I also got some DVDs and my friends got me Left 4 Dead for Xbox 360. So I got some good stuffs! We just went to outback and had a few tall glasses of Sam Adams and chilled out afterwards. A good day overall.

    :teethglint:

  4. PG-13 these days are what R was in the 80s early 90s. A rating really has nothing to do with how good a movie is. I rather hear more creative dialog than F bombs every sentence. You also have to remember that most of the terminators don't have the synthetic skin on in this movie, you can't have gore come out of machines.

Mandalay Pictures has acquired theatrical rights to and will develop a big-screen version of "Full Metal Panic," a Japanese manga series that blends action, comedy and high school romance, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The property derives from writer Shoji Gatoh's series about a teenage anti-terrorist commando named Sousuke Sagara who is given the mission to protect a high-school girl with mystical powers.

"Panic," which is set in a world almost exclusively without adults, is known for mixing visceral action with wry comedy.

Zac Efron's name has surfaced in connection with "Panic," with the actor holding a conversation on the project, adds the trade. He's also potentially attached to the Warner Bros. adventure Jonny Quest.

These guys broke down the trailer.

I can see where you are coming from Strider. IW reinvented the series with 4, and Treyarch basically reskined it and added a few nice touches with a lot of bugs. I have some faith IW will bring something new to the table. I'm sure they will take some ideas from WAW like the improved assist system. I care more about the multiplayer than I do the campaigne. But thats me.

I would like to see a better co-op campaigne that requires more than just advancing to the enemies so they stop spawning. WAW had some good missions like Burn Em Up, and Blackcat, but there were a lot of aggravating bland missions as well.

  7. You could in the demo, but for some reason in the final release they took it out and you have to stand still when you aim and fire. So its just like every RE. The only difference is that for some enemies that don't have weapons in hand, you have a dodge button that pops up and you can avoid a blow while you're aiming.

I'm playing on professional right now and even with infinite rocket launcher its hard as hell.

Thats another cool thing about this game. At the end of each section, you are given a grade based on an average of scores that include Accuracy, Kills, Deaths, and the time it took to get through the section. You are given a grade of S, A, B, C... possibly D but I've never seen it. Each grade carries a certain number of points that can be spent on bonus features. Once you have beaten the game, any weapon you have maxed out in upgrades you can purchase infinite ammo for it. This is no simple task. You can maybe buy infinite ammo for 1-2 weapons per time you beat the game pending on what difficulty you played it on. The harder the difficulty the more points each grade is worth. An S ranking on normal is worth 1,500pts, while an S ranking on pro is worth 2,500pts. The cost inifinite ammo depends on how devastating the weapon is... A basic mini uzi will run you about 6,500pts while the Smith & Wesson 500 will cost you 20,000pts. Weapons are expensive to fully upgrade, I believe a magazine said it takes 900,000 gold to upgrade everything. I've played 26hrs worth of this game, beaten it twice, and played various chapters over and over, and I still have about 5 I need to max out, out of the 20+ guns there are. Some of these guns won't appear in the shop until you fully upgrade certain weapons. There are two character exclusive special weapons that automatically have infinite ammo that become unlocked when you max out two of the guns after you have beaten the game.

There are also 3 costumes for each character, and a 3-4 filters to change the look of the game. There are a ton of reasons to replay the game.

  8. I see the biggest flaws in resident evil 4 carried over to RE5. You must stand still to shoot, no peripheral vision and no quick turn. You'd think they'd have some sort of analog or d-pad control for quick turns left and right. They had a quick 180 move to quickly attack behind you. guh.

btw, is there a strafe option in RE5 to pear around walls and shoot? That pissed me off more than anything in RE4. You basically had to always walk blinding around every corner just to get attacked on your blind sides.

Yes there is a cover system where you can press a button and back up against a wall, Its useful later on when you need to shoot around corners. The only bad part is, If you get hit, you're automatically taken off the wall. and It takes 2-3 seconds to back off the wall on your own... this will get you in trouble when zombies come running around the corner.

The standard controls are set up like a modern shooter. Trigger buttons shoot, left stick strafes and right stick turns. You can turn the controls to RE4 style if someone wished too, and there is also a hybrid without strafe with trigger buttons firing. The 180 is still there. and you can turn pretty quick... until you start aiming, then you are as sluggish as ever, which really becomes a pain in the ass on this part you have to snipe from a moving platform.

The controls are much improved but as you can see there are still kinks in it. Moving while aiming was in the demo... I have no idea why they took it out in the final release.

I guess to make Cerberus, Lickers, and Reapers more of a pain in the ass than they already are.

    -_-;
