  1. The game looks interesting so far. But is it just my imagination or does it look like its run by a God of War game engine? It looks like you could replace the main guy and whip with Kratos and his blades in almost any scene.

    You never know. God of War pretty much set the standard for these types of games, It wouldn't surprise me if it was, because Dante's Inferno looks like its based off the GoW engine as well. Really, I dont see anything wrong with that, its one of the best and smoothest flowing combat systems out there.

  2. The first game to most people is really short. Its very fun though. The reason it seems short is because its split into 4 episodes. They were originally all connected but, they split them up after the play test groups input about the pilot/driver of the rescue vehicle always turning into a zombie and wrecking them somewhere else. It has a lot of replay value especially among friends. Plus the achievements are a blast, and with the addition of survival mode, it adds a whole new dimension to the first game. I recommend it, and I know Jilly Jills does too, cuzz that's all she plays besides Fallout 3.

  3. also the fact that people have been known to play MMO's like 15hrs strait, i dought a console can take that strain over an extended period of time

    I've played my consoles 15hrs+ plenty of times and the only one thats ever died on me was my first 360. My ex gf plays FFXI all the time for long periods and her PS2 still runs fine to this day.

    Castlevania has been lacking quite a bit as of late. This is surprising to see the creator of Metal Gear Solid taking over such a big name. Apparently this game is not connected with any of the other Castlevania games. It looks real good so far. I'm interested to see what Kojima has to bring to the table, because this is definitely not Tactical Stealth Espianoge. The story will be good, thats a definite.

    Dimension Films has hired Dan Milano to write the script for the Short Circuit remake.

    The 1986 original was about an armed robot that acquired a personality after a lightning strike, and sought the help of humans to prevent its destruction by its makers in the military.

    Milano, who aside from writing and providing voices for the Adult Swim cartoon "Robot Chicken" and co-creating and playing the title character in "Greg the Bunny," figures to bring a subversive edge to the original film scripted by S.S. Wilson and Brent Maddock.

    "We're bringing Number 5 into the 21st Century and taking advantage of the improvements in robotics that are so massive that robots are now performing heart surgeries in hospitals," producer David Foster said and added that the robot's visual look won't change.

    Are you serious? thats an 80's movie that needs to stay an 80's classic... don't fuck with it. -_-;

    The Xbox 360 will be added Twitter and Facebook to its list of web services, Microsoft announced today, with some of those social networking services interact with the console's game library.

    Microsoft's Facebook implementation on the Xbox 360 looks to offer much of what's available via a regular web browser: status updates, photo sharing, email and more. The interface follows the established New Xbox Experience format, with Avatars integrated into profile and news feed menus. Looks like more of the things one can do with the core Facebook service, installable apps notwithstanding, will be present in the Xbox 360 version.

    What's new is the option to save screen shots from Xbox 360 games, then let players upload those game moments via Facebook Connect to show off online. The first game to support that option will be EA Sport's Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10. Xbox general manager Marc Whitten said this feature will be added to the Xbox 360 SDK, but wasn't clear on whether this option could be added to older titles via software update.

    Xbox 360's version of Twitter looks very much like the Web interface, letting Xbox 360 owners update their personal status from the dashboard and favorite tweets.

    Microsoft also announced the addition of Last.FM to the Xbox 360 at its press conference today.

    The only thing I find awesome about this is that you can put in game sceen shots up on your page. Should be pretty interesting.
