...ince I started downloading and watching anime online 11 years ago the only way I watch anime is subbed now (hence the reason why I don't watch anime on Netflix, I know they're getting better about it but when it first started all they had were dubs for anime (and anime I watched as subbed first)).

I really don't get why Steve Blum doesn't do more voice work. He's def top notch even though he only has that once cadence. He was awesome as Spike in Bebop and Mugen in Samurai Champloo.

You should check out some of the anime on Netflix strider. Most of it is dual audio worth subs available. There's even sub only anime on there. If you ever put one on and its in English, hit the lower menu while the show is on and the audio/sub options will be right there. And yes.. slayers English is superior. *nod*

Shit, when I logged on to buy Suros right before TTK came out I could get Thorn by just turning in my uncompleted bounty (I shit you not, it told me to turn it in for a Thorn. Wish I would of taken a screenshot) because they knew the gun was going to be worthless come TTK (and it still is as it never got a Year 2 remake like Suros, Hawkmoon, Mida, and the few other Exotics they redid).

I'm surprised you actually saw Cloud Fly die. Use berserker stance for the resistance to negate condi damage and try to go berserk mode as much as possible since the eternal champion trait will give you stability whenever you break a stun and enter berserk mode. Thats how I secure alot of stomps in pvp with my warrior. Headbutt alone is a stun break so I usually get stability from it, then it hits, activate berserk for even more stability. I don't have to dedicate any utilities for stability with that eternal champ trait.

Yeah I'm sticking with Dire Guard... this shit is so OP it should be illegal. Purging Flames does 10k damage? WTF? I nuked some guy overlooking a gate we were flame ramming. He didn't expect it and just got insta downed and melted. I have 22.5k HP. I played for a little bit in JQBL with a small squad of about 7. Is always fun when someone comes to attack you like a DD, thinking your an AH Frontline, and you drop that burn on them and they freak out and run away. I watched 3 people just run from me when I dropped purging flames on them. Most of the time it kills them if they aren't a warrior or rev. I had a Warrior do GS3 off a ledge just so I couldn't get his bag. Judges Intervention also adds to it as well, because I got someone that was with him and jumped on their corpse thinking they could 2v1 me.  

I tried to play in a big zerg on EB, but I couldn't get into the squad because it was full. I did ok, but I wasn't getting any of the group support so when my stability and cleanse ran out I often got gravity welled... damn FA loves their mesmers. Its pretty annoying... the whole condi meta is a bit absurd. I'd die and WP only to have 5-6 bags in my inventory from people that died from my flame nuke. WvW should really be put on its own mode with a PvP type class builder. Burn guard is way more OP in WvW than it is in PvP. I mean, I can launch 5k ticks of burning without purging flames. Condi needs to be toned down a lot, but I'll keep abusing the shit out of it until its fixed. Dire gear is super cheap... and the trinkets are cheap too because Tequatl's fang and Amulet of Triple Curiosity are both Dire. The rings are 3g each, and you'll spend about 6-7g on the armor. Luckily I kept the 2 level 80 back pieces from the druid stone asc back collection and got a exotic dire back going too. I could give the other one to my necro if i wanted to try Dire Reaper.

I should work on that druid back piece. I completely threw that to the back burner and forgot all about it. I'll probably buy another blood ruby backpack and blood ruby amulet tho and use those instead since they are quasi legendary. I can select dire (or trailblazer) stats on them and if I ever want to change it, it only costs 100 UB to buy the capacitor to stat swap it. Its one of the main reasons I do 2 bsf dailies every day. Once the next expansion comes out and if viper, or celestial or commander, etc. becomes the meta for guardian, I'll quickly have a back, amulet and earring stat swapped and ready to go. Same with all my other characters. I'm trying to get at least half of them setup with these 3 bloodstone ascended items each.

I must say, the dub for FB is phenomenal. Comparing a scene from the original to the new one, you can tell how the cast has improved their craft over the years. Its the same people but they're projecting their emotions in a more natural way. Plus the recording equipment is obviously superior today. The original sounds like they recorded it in a janitor's closet. The animation quality is so beautiful, the original looks so bad to me putting it side by side. Now I think about what other series they could do like this. Yu Yu Hakusho would be amazing along with Inu Yasha.

Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life and Senko-San also have really good dubs so far. Funi has stepped up their game on casting this season. I'd say Space Dandy is probably the best dub they've put together before this season. Not that their dubs in the last 5 years have been lacking, but there is always a show here and there that takes it to the next level. I just glad they didn't use one of their squeaker box VAs for Senko as they tend to go overboard with that for little female characters. I can't remember the VA's name, but that's her real life voice. *shutter*

Senko with a squeaky voice would be horrid, it'd take away from her healing factor (I haven't heard her dub voice but her Japanese VA is amazing, they chose well on that one).

Can we just say that FB is fucking amazing? The newest ep is a probably my favorite episode thus far (so much emotion) and her Grandfather is a fucking badass (that's all I'll say). Gah, kinda wish I would of watched the original all the way through but I'm glad it's getting this remake because I never knew I needed this show in my life until now (same could be said for Senko-san as well).

Yes the past episode was really good. Two completely different types of anime but Tohru reminds me of Saber from Fate/Zero, in the way I don't want anything bad to happen to her because shes such a nice person.

The person they picked for Senko hasn't done a lot of big roles from her casting history, but shes killing it with the extremely joyful yet soothing voice. I just noticed she did Demon Lord Milim which is crazy because she was kinda squeaky there, but it fit the character's persona. I wouldn't have guessed it.

Thats the one thing I really liked about that HTC one. Low light images suck on my cell phone, even with flash on. Outside at night with a full moon and flash and taking pics on my camera phone is pretty pointless unless its a foot in front of it and even then is way dark.

Oh and the speakers are amazing. I was worried, I've been waking up to the same tone for 3-4 years now, I didn't know how I'd react to a new alarm. I put it on "Livin' on the Edge" by Aerosmith... it was LOUD. I about jumped out of my bed.

I can't stand some of the japanese voices. Goku sounds like a girly child and all the power up screaming is too funny to be serious , and Felli in Chrome Shelled is better in english because the VA nailed her emotionless state way better than the japanese version. I like Blackstar's "YAHOO" in english better, even though the raspy trunks voice is a bit annoying. lol There are some pretty bad dubs out there though. Sailor Moon, Dragonball, or anything dubbed in the 80s early...

I prefer Blackstar's Japanese VA, I think he nails his hyperactive personality exactly. Then again I barely made it through 15 minutes of the first ep dubbed before my ears started to bleed so I never did get to fully hear the raspy trunks voice.

No, we never went to Moe's. Its pretty good. Their selection of toppings / ingredients is vastly superior to Chipotles. I think Moe's burritos are $6.95, but on mondays all burritos are $5. Around 6-8pm that place is insanely busy. Chipotle tho.. The burritos are $7.95 I think. Ever since that price hike, I hardly go there anymore seeing as Moe's is closer, cheaper and comes with chips and salsa.

Moe's nachos are freakin awesome.

This is the one i picked up. I love Citizen watches. They look better than Rolex and Omegas IMO. But they dont cost $5-45k I couldn't pay that much for a watch even if I was rich. Sure they last forever because they don't need batteries, but a spring or gear can still break or wear and its probably ungodly to get fixed since automatic watches are such a dying art. Citizen is solar powered and as long as you don't do what I did, they'll last a good 25 years until the cell needs to be replaced. Plus this one has a sapphire crystal so the lens shouldn't get all beat up like my old one did.

Thats a damn nice watch. I had a coworker that loved his Rolex. I just don't see the appeal in wearing $5k minimum on your wrist, that basically advertises yourself as a target for thieves. Some ppl like my old coworker see it as a display of wealth and personal achievement. To each their own I guess. A watch like the one you got is great tho. If you're going to get a watch, get a good one. As for me, I just pull out my phone to see the time. I used to wear watches way back in the day, but I'll probably never wear one again. I type way too much every day and the watch bands shred up my keyboard wrist cushions and aggravate my wrist after 8 hours of pressure.

I watched a video on Rolex the other night and they aren't even hand made outside of placing the logo inside the face. They are mass produced by machines and really only seem to be valued on their heritage and the fact that they make everything in house. I looked through a bunch of models just for fun and they all seem rather bland... I guess because of their old fashion nature. I'm a feature driven person and it seems you can get more features in a watch in the $200-700 range. One's that are truly handmade are astronomical. I see some on Jomashop for $400k+. With how bad my S6 battery life is, I figured a new timepiece will alleviate some of the strain... plus titanium is super light so I'm excited to see how it feels for being such a large face watch.

Just wait until you play season 2. It's even better. But damn I do miss Lee. That dude was awesome. He was one of the best characters I've seen in a game in years. When I was watching "fear the walking dead" I had recently beaten this game. They accomplished in that game what would have been an amazing tv series. And the TV series we got instead was a big mess of a failure. I had a significantly bigger emotional attachment to these game characters that I felt horrible when something happened to them. But in Fear TWD any if these characters can get killed off and I wouldn't give a damn.

My Carhartt is great, but the water resistance is nothing like it used to be. I thought the quick duck material was naturally water repellent but I notice all the quick duck gear is marketed now as "with Rain Defender® durable water repellent". Maybe mine was labeled like that too back when I bought it but I don't remember. After a few years and occasional washings, my coat needs a new coating of this water repellent but I don't see where I can buy a carhartt brand spray bottle of it online. I'm hesitant to use the water repellent I use on my grill covers because that stuff darkened the color of the fabric. I'm going to call the official Carhartt store in the mall near me and ask if they sell the actual rain defender spray once it gets closer to winter.

yeah I had some Dickies shirts like that and within 3-4 washes it just turned into a normal absorbent shirt. 

lol. yep. I like Dickies brand belts, but their shirts and pants always felt noticeably heavier to me compared to similar styles of other brands. Hows the quality of the shirts besides the water repellent properties?

It takes place in an alternate universe and completely throws away the ending accomplishment of the original series. Different cast, with token cameo appearances of the two main characters of the original series... one only being in the final two episodes. Also an appearance by the Gekko which was completely forced with no purpose other than to be a token cameo... lol

I run a lot of crit chance on my gear, along with my vector that does high crit damage and even more chance on its talents. Along with scan puse I can melt the tankiest of builds. I keep my HP around 62k.

Running 100k hp builds doesn't seem worth it. Some of my group has it, and they still go down. I prefer skill power for better pulse and sticky bombs. One person I know can insta down a whole team with his sticky because his sp is +30k and he had sticky stats on all his gear

My damage mitigation is at 50%. I think armor values can off set lower HP values.

I dunno. I mean if you have everything else you want it is kinda worth it. My DH has 15k HP now from vital infusions on my ascended armor/trinkets. that's absurd for Guardian. 

All of my infusion slots are full of agony resistance. x_x The only way I can add power is to make those expensive things. But the fractal mastery does have a vendor that lets me extract infusions for 24 silver per piece of armor. I've used it so many times swapping AR around. I made sure to save my +20 exp and +20 magic find infusions that I bought with laurels. If I can finally put high level fractals to the curb I'll swap some of this AR over to power infusions and save the AR ones for a rainy day. I really wish AR was an account bound upgrade thing like a mastery and not tied to armor slots.

Yeah I use vital/power. It's a great boost for regular dungeons.

Oh I have an AL regime. I knock out my easy daily missions and combat assignments while I eat breakfast, I'll monitor my commissions through out the day. I'll knock out my 3 hard clears on lunch break since I don't eat as my shift is to where I eat breakfast before and lunch when I get off. Then I'll clear a world or two when I'm off. I probably still got more than a million left of the 2mil on Saint Louis. It feels like its going a hell of a lot slower than the 1 million xp. But thats all I have left for her. I finally got Kaga from 3-4 today, just need Akagi. w00t. These rate ups love me, I did a 10 pull today and got 2 more  Gloucester's I have everything for her full limit break now. I gotta save my Bulin's for Ayanami since I guess she doesn't even drop after you get her from the collection.

Pramanix is super nice, but Orchid isn't to be underestimated. I've had to swap back to her just for lower 10 cost for certain missions since I have her potential maxed. I'm starting to notice how much more synergy matters, and not so much character level at points... at least for the dailies. Resource Search is fucking nightmare to 3 star. I think that's the allure of this game is to just 3 star the daily's so you can auto cruise them after. I'm sitting here with 40-50s and enemy 30s are getting to my base. at least 1. But I finally made it to SK-3 which gives out those sweet carbon bricks I've desperately needed to further upgrade my base. I'm about to dump a lot of my excess sanity into it now. I've done swapped my squad around so much it doesn't resemble that anymore. I discovered the part of the store you can use all the accumulated free currency to buy stuff. Holy shit there is so much different random currency in this game I don't get half of it. But I was able to pick up a batch of head hunting licenses  and got Nightingale and Shining. (I guess my rate up luck is good on both games. 😛 I didn't get Seige though which is who I really want) I'll level them up later when the LMD daily comes back around. I highly recommend Tactone's YT channel for a lot of good information. He's a super hype whale, but damn he's pointed out a lot of good stuff. Like his recruitment guide. That link is from one of his videos, and there are certain tag combos you can pick to get guaranteed operators. I set Silence as my support unit if you want to try her out. Although I haven't promoted her yet to get her healing drone. I've just realized I've been missing out on free headhunt tickets because of the pinboard missions. I didn't use a practice session to advance it and now I'm raking them in from backlogged progress.

Once I get to where I have a 2nd support unit slot I put Siege in it, I E1'ed her. Since shes 6 star it won't let me put her in the first slot. But I did E1 Silence if you want to check out her healer drone. I'm a little demoralized right now because I made it to 382 enemies on Annihilation. I wasn't paying attention and my healer went down on the bottom path and she couldn't come back in time to save it from being overwhelmed. X_X. 

Edit: the drone is amazing. Silence is by far my favorite heal unit. It costs 5 DP but doesn't count towards the unit limit. It heals in a 8 tile area for 10 seconds anywhere its placed. But it must be placed in the ground units area. It can't go on elevated areas.

I had no idea menards only hired PT. That's some bullshit. My last 3 jobs I got from temp agencies. Those 3 companies I worked for all had a policy of exclusively hiring full time temps only because they could get full time employees without having to pay benefits and they could fire them for no reason if they wanted and have no repercussions from it. The temp agency could work ppl full time for 3 months before benefits would kick in. So either the job they get you hires you directly after 3 months or they let you go and the temp agency then has no job available and because the hours would drop from 40 to zero they wouldn't have to pay benefits either. It's a shitty system to, but maybe some temp agencies around you have some jobs available?

It's really the only way Menard's makes money. They can't really compete with Lowe's and Home Depot due to their limited reach (and shitty tools, they don't sell anything of quality) and the owners and big wigs are pretty shitty people all around. The only reason the one I work at does so well is the nearest Lowe's is an hour and a half away so most people don't want to drive that far to get actual, quality shit. I never thought I could hate a company more then I hated Walmart but Menards makes Walmart look like saints

Meh, the temp agency market here is pretty dried up atm due to the lack of jobs since, as noted, most of them rely heavily on the oil field (and the ones hiring are hiring in places I'd have to move to). I'm honestly at the point where I might just start looking elsewhere for a job since I'm sick of this city and only moved out here due to family issues. Sadly I can't afford  to get a place atm so it'll be really hard justifying a move with little money unless I find a job that pays quite a bit more (which is unlikely out here since this is the only part of the state where most jobs are willing to pay a living wage of $15 or more (and that's getting rarer now with the oil field being in shambles and most people moving out of the state and back home)). Plus with the issues that have cropped up recently (one of the reasons I've been awol) I can't really leave.

Be glad you didn't see any lights for the brakes. If you do it usually means you have no stopping power because the brake fluid leaked out. Either that or your ABS has completely failed. I've had ABS mostly fail before. While I was braking the pedal it literally pulsed about 3 times about 1/2 inch each time and then went straight to the floor. Its amazing how many sensors are in a car, but major things don't have sensors at all.. like the calipers and brakes.. if you have bad rotors and one breaks, you'll never see a light go off even tho the car is screaming at you in metal horror. Oh.. and a co worker broke a tie rod on the freeway once. Her front left wheel went sideways under her car while going 65 mph.. she almost flipped the car and still didn't have a service engine soon light go off. x_x

Seriously. I was in a 10 minute car chase last night. IHad to switch vehicles near the end because the truck I was in looked like it was going to explode from damage.

Thats the main reason I maxed out my battery first. I would constantly run out of juice trying to take them out via blockers and traffic lights.

have the NPC's help... however in the living world the NPCs are bad asses and really help out. On top of that they will actually revive you while getting attacked... so I'm finding the living world chapters to be more enjoyable.

Thats good. The best part about the NPCs in GW1 was that they would revive you and use all their available skills. But you also had some control over them. You could set them to go to specific areas to attack, tell them to use a specific skill on demand, etc. So if my entire team was getting wiped out, I'd tell the monks to run a half mile a way and slowly come back to revive us one at a time. It was very effective with elite revive / healing skills. My one monk could revive people from a...

... a distance and instant teleport them to him.

That flesh golem has become way more useful since that enemy aoe patch.

Even without running MM it's the best elite. It's a ranger pet equivalent at worst and a breaker bar skill otherwise.

I had to stop using him for a while yesterday tho. Flesh golems biggest flaw was keeping me in combat while I was trying to do some jumping puzzles. X_x

Today's daily was so savagely hard. It took us 5 hours to beat it. And thats with gold weapons. Plus we started out with 2 randoms via matchmake. One left and we got a regular in. It turned out the random new the best strategy for the hardest encounter. We had a 9 min timer to clear out 3 waves of enemies which featured those damn shotgun rushers. We had to use all the CC we could muster to keep them at bay in a choke point, while using our damage buff consumable and my group toughness...

Thats crazy.

That big n tasty was my hamburger of choice back when it came out. I wasn't aware they still made them. Burger king burgers are trash but damn their fries are the best. Surprised the hell out of me last month when I broke my burger king hiatus. Those fries are damn good. There's still no Hardees or Carl's Jr anywhere near me but i still see their commercials, same with sonic drive thru. Those Hardees commercials are alot better now. Lol. That slider double burger looks good. Wendy's and 5 guys are the best fast food burgers around here. I'd go to 5 guys more often if they had a drive thru.

Five Guys is amazing, but I don't consider it fast food since you can spend $15 there. I always get the double cheeseburger with everything on it. Wendy's Baconator is one of my favorites.

I like the regular number 1 Dave's single. I still like the Jr bacon cheeseburger if I get like 3 of them. They used to be so much bigger 10 years ago. The baconater has to much bacon for me. Feels like I'm prepping my arteries for a heart attack whenever I eat one. 😂
