In BF4 my favorite troll was RPG chopper take downs. In Overwatch it's trap/mine Genji, especially in his ult with Junkrat. I'll have to upload my match later where two Genji's tried to harass me, I got the better of them both way more times than they got me. 

I got my Cinch Gaming controller today. Its really nice. I'm impressed that the grip isn't some added rubber overlay like I thought it would be, Its actually the plastic on the controller. Its a different material, clearly 3D printed soft plastic. The custom buttons are nice, I guess I hold my controller a bit wonky and never realized it. I can hit the melee button easily, but the jump button is awkward to me with how I rest my hand on the controller. I'll get use to it. The Xbox sticks are a big improvement.

Not too happy about the D.Va nerfs :/ She felt like she was in a good place. Zarya can tear her to shreds as is. That Triple Tank meta made an impact. Ana is getting a massive nerf, and Roadhog's hook can no longer pull off BS snags... although Tracer and Lucio will be almost impossible to pick off.

I'm more hyped than ever for Breath of the Wild after Amazon UK leaked the details that there will be 900 puzzles, 120 mini-dungeons, and 76 side quests. Zelda is one of the few games that I get into hardcore completionist mode. I put in for the week off when it arrives at my door step.

I feel sorry for anyone that wanted to buy a NES classic at retail price. The last of them will be shipped out til the end of the month. Never wanted one myself, but a lot of friends did. This is why emulators will always be a thing.

The older I get, the more I dislike the general public. I was never Mr. Popular in school because I kept to myself and felt that the upper echelon of the social order was so trivial. I can befriend just about anyone of any type of values/background. But overall my circle of friends is pretty small, and always has been.

I say all that to say this... holy shit why are people so fucking stupid on the internet? I'm pretty new to this whole reddit/facebook groups thing. I remember running around anime forums as a 14-15 year old shooting off at the mouth like I was hot shit... but these are grown ass adults that don't have a fucking clue what they are talking about, nor do they want to learn.

I see all these morons on the GW2 facebook group asking dumbshit questions you can easily look up yourself on wiki or youtube... The GW2 community has the best community of YT guide makers of any game... quite literally there are the most pointless guides for even the biggest imbeciles.  Taking 5 steps in a straight line from a waypoint to get to a POI? You better believe there is a YT video on how to do it! Just type in the name of the POI and at least 5-6 20 sec-1min videos will pop up. You could have tabbed out of GW2, or pulled out your phone and looked that bullshit up and got it done w/o wasting your time posting a question in a facebook group and waiting for someone to respond. I mean what the actual fuck? Then they get butthurt when someone posts the link to the wiki, and people actually coddle this fool like we shouldn't tell him to try harder to help himself? I almost left the group because of that because it was the second time in two days I saw it. Kumbaya shit pisses me off, and as a society its lead to the everything is offensive/racist/bigoted/cruel. Sometimes people have to feel like people think they're stupid to better themselves. Its called learning the hard way, and I've done a lot of it myself.

Then you have assholes telling you about the class you main, and they have no fucking clue how the class works.... because they don't even play it. They main another class. Its obvious by what they're spewing out, by leaving out various aspects of the class while giving out vague descriptions... then a lot of times saying something that's completely false.

But this is just a side note really, what set me off on this rant today is another facebook group. I'm a EDC nut. I own multiple guns, pocket knives, and flashlights. I recently got into a group about a particular brand of knife I enjoy. Overall its a great group that gives me good ideas about future purchases I might make. I recently ordered a knife that is an upgraded version exclusive from a certain knife retailer. It has a high tier quality blade steel, making the knife double the cost of the standard version. Even then at $80, this steel is normally only found on pocket knives that are $220-400. Its one hell of a deal. So this new guy that joined the group asks in a comment reply why would anyone pay double the price for this knife when he got it for way less. I explained to him what the deal was, because that's what the group is for... sharing knowledge and opinions. He never responded so I figured he understood and moved on.... then later down the comments I see him ask the question again... Another member tells him about the steel, and I follow up explaining that its an exclusive version of the knife only sold by that particular retailer, and I even go into why that steel is special and its characteristics. Once again no acknowledgement. He later makes his own post, posting the basic version of this knife that he owns, and someone asks him what version it is, and he states he just found out that there are more than one version of his knife and asks AGAIN why is there a one doubled in price.... this all took place in the span of 17 hours. I mean did you not fucking read mine and other peoples explanation? You read it enough to know there was more than one version! Holy shit.... Why are you so fucking ignorant? Is your mental retention that bad? How did you even manage make it back to the facebook group two days in a row?

I'm not really raging, even though it sounds like it. It just bothers me that people act this helpless. The internet has made people even more lazy despite the fact that there is a wealth of knowledge to be had. I've learned a shit ton using it, whether it be about science, history, or my very own hobbies. I mean how do these people even pay their internet bill? Did they post on their ISP's forum to ask how to do it? Google is a powerful tool to find quick answers to everything. It requires way less clicks. Use groups and reddit for opinion discussion... not for basic questions that you need to find on your own. You just look like someone that could drown in the shower.

BoTW took Game of the Year award and its well deserved, but I'm also glad NieR: Automata got best musical score, because its very well deserved.

I caught up on Overlord's season 2 simuldub. So far it's entertaining but all over the place. There isn't as much action so far which is disappointing. All these characters are so OP, but that was what was great about season 1. Especially since Ainz vs. Shalltear was an amazing finale with two ultra OP characters going at it like a chess game. However I figure everything happening now is leading up to something bigger. They're spending more time world building in season 2 in which they did very little of in season 1. Plus season 3 was ordered. People can say what they want about Funi, but I bet there are some series out there that would have never been renewed past it's first season 6-8 years ago. Props to netflix too even though their series are hit and miss. I finished A.I.C.O. Incarnation last night, while it didn't blow me away, I enjoyed it.. same goes for ID-0. It's come a long way from Toonami, spending days downloading stuff off Limewire and torrents, or staying up til 4am in hopes Sci-Fi played Akira or Vampire Hunter D

Funimation started the dubcast of the Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These. Apparently it's a reboot of the 1988 series Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Never saw the original, but the first two episodes has me pretty impressed. If this series is full of huge 5000-10k ship battles using old school formations and tactics I'll def be hooked. Since the original was over 100 eps, I hope I don't get The Legend of Legendary Hero'ed here after season 1.

Finished Darling in the Franxx today. Its definitely not for everyone. It starts out confused to what it is. A lot of people could give up on it after the first few eps. What's seemingly a corny mecha series with horny teens quickly evolves into an interesting and mysterious world were a group of kids try to find their place on society and struggle to cope with their emotions. Lately, I've been unintentionally watching series with slow build ups that lead to big payoffs and this is one of them. Having to wait each week for a new episode deprived me of the instant gratification or lack there of I'm accustomed to. The series ends without answering a lot of questions and adding a few more about the actual social structure and why the world is the way it is. But the questions about Hiro's issues and his explainable connection to 002 are all resolved. The animators of Gurren Lagann did this series, and it's easy to see that. Instead of a over the top epic tale, we get a darker world with mysterious creatures that probably wont be explained until next season.

You could definitely tell this was the last E3 for this generation of consoles. Super small showcases for everyone this year. Next year's E3 will be back to the ultra hype reels for Sony and Microsoft unveiling the next consoles followed with the games that are being made for them. It will be an off year for Battlefield next year, but the first COD will be by C studio Sledgehammer, since MW4 will be the last COD this gen.

I completed my 6th world completion on Guild Wars 2. It will probably be my last. Mounts definitely made this one much easier to complete, but it still wasn't much fun. My first two runs were done the old school way with WvW map requirements. My third, forth, and fifth were done post HoT with gliding, and elite specs providing me with more mobility and power. This last one took less than half the time, but the hearts are so tedious, it's too much. The Beetle is cool for zipping around the map and unfogging everything. You may pick up a few WP and POI along the way, but if you were to move from heart to heart, half the time you'd just get your boost meter full and you'd be at your destination already. The raptor is still the best for these scenarios. The best thing the Beetle is for is getting to an event fast before it completes. Also the skimmer made maps dominated by lakes and ocean so much faster. With 10 gifts of Exploration, I doubt I'll ever grind out the Gift of Mastery track 10 times to go with it. I kind of wish I would have bought more than I did before that change occurred.

The first two eps of AoT season 3 are better than season 2 in its entirety.

I remember when I use to be a huge fighting game fan. I always like to read about the old series I use to play. Apparently 2B is way too strong in Soul Calibur 6. She launched yesterday and people are crying about her already... I'm like no shit, shes OP as hell in the game shes from. I called it when I saw the trailer. I honestly wish she'd be a new Smash Bros character.

I finally passed the anime in the AoT manga. This next half of season 3 is probably going to end before they explain everything, where the titans came from, the world outside the walls, and how everything happened. It's interesting, but I feel like it makes the series lose a major component which was the mystery of why anything was happening. The anime is about to get as intense as season 1 was, but after that I can see people getting bored with the next season unless the really fly through this section of explanations. I don't think they will though because the anime has been the manga verbatim.

O... M... G!! I just watched the first ep of The Helpful Fox Senko-san and it was so freaking adorable.  The ED is already a top contender. The season doesn't kick into full swing for the dub until this weekend but so far I'm digging Wise Man's Grandchild. Yu-No is interesting but it could end up like RErideD. I'm mostly interested in Fairy Gone, AFTERLOST, and Midnight Occult Civil Servants... but it looks like I'll be watching most of the series this season as well.

I never believed in truly wireless earbuds. But I bought some galaxy buds at Best Buy today. The first 4 hours of my shift each morning are before my store opens, and It's generally just with one other person that is working on the opposite side of the store. I have to listen for a door bell after a while to let people in other dept in so I can't have both earphones in at once, and I didn't want a dangling ear bud flopping all over the place while I tried to work. I'll mostly use them for podcast listening rather than music so ultra sound quality like a $300 pair of Bose or Jabra's were out of the question. Skullcandy and Ankor had some cheap $70 ones, but I went with galaxy buds since i have a galaxy phone. They were $120, they sound really nice and fit snug in the ear suprisingly. They came with different size tips just in case. Plus the carrying case is super small. They get around 6 hours of battery life each, and the case will recharge them about 2 times before needing to be recharged itself. So if I ever work a full overnight shift they'll last me all night one bud at a time.   I'll have to find more podcasts to listen to as I've burned through a lot of the old eps of the ones I currently follow.

Muh feels! 😭 Fruits Basket has been so good, but ugh. Two eps on Uotani and Kyoko. Why'd Kyoko have to die? It's just a sad fact at first, but now that they gave her character so much depth with Uotani's recollection it hurts. The New Years ep would have been even worse if I knew her like I do now.

As much as I am enjoying this anime season with so many good shows. Friday is just incredible. Fruits Basket, Dr. Stone, and Fire Force. Pretty much 3 of my top 4 this season. (Cop Craft battling with FB for that #3 spot). All three episodes were amazing this week. Kohaku is the ultra best girl this season. 😍 As much as a lot of people hate it, I've always been a fan of the huge eyeballs, weird faces, massive mouth, anime faces for comedy as long as it's done right. Dr. Stone nails it.

It's been a long time since I've been duped hard by Netflix. I started watching Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Battle of Unato last night. It said Season 1, and the preview looked awesome. I was getting really into the story, the animation was stunning, the action and music were amazing... and then it ended after episode 3. Turns out it was a movie they divided up into 3 eps. WTF. Amazon has the actual series but its subbed. I guess I'll watch it one day.

Deep into my one and only mobile game, Facebook caught wind. 🙄 I've spent the past 2 weeks grinding out on Azur Lane. I've pretty much fallen in love with the simple little game. I enjoy the collecting, retrofitting, gearing, dorm managing and commissioning more than the actual missions.   But now I get every shit shovelware ad for mobile games on my facebook feed. Kiss of War, Raid Shadow Legends, Epic Seven, Iron Saga. I wonder how much they actually add to their playerbase/funds from these? I don't choose to hide the ads because the comments section are gold with the mockery. Of course I only get these ads on my phone while on my PC i get FFXIV ads which I already have a sub too, and some anime crate which I allow to keep showing because I've hid every other possible ad in the algorithm from showing up. I rather just keep that one around because they have nice promo art most the time.

#RIP my bank account in April. Not only does FFVII remake come out on my Bday, but the Trials of Mana remake and Sakura Wars comes out BOTH on the 24th and 28th. wtf. x_x I've been into a lot of Japanese games lately. After Ys: VIII, I've had an itch I've needed to scratch for old school style ARPGs. I picked up Tales of Berseria since it was on sale, and have been having a blast with it. I also still need to beat Astral Chain on Switch. 

Wearing a mask with glasses sucks. I've been using neck gaiters, but when you were anything that has to go around your ears it makes your glasses lose grip. I'm going to get a new Rx on contacts Monday. I stopped wearing them about 2 years ago becasue I couldn't wear them a whole day without my eyes getting irritated. I just need them for 8-10 hours tho, just to get through work.
