  1. Grimgar Fantasy and Ash, the only anime I've ever watched that punched you in the feels 4 episodes in.

Never even heard of it (another one that slipped by me), just got done reading a summary of it on Wikipedia. It actually sounds a lot like Log Horizon just in a different world and different circumstances (sounds like the main character is trapped in the world by himself with all the NPCs). I'll have to see if I can find fansubs for it as well, definitely sounds like a show I'd like.

The memory thing is actually a major part of the story later on in Season 2 when the players actually start realizing they're loosing their memories every time they die. At first its nothing major (insignificant stuff like names of places they used to visit and what not) but as they continue to die more and more memories disappear and they start turning into mindless Thralls (which is covered in the season 2 during one of the story arcs) who can think of nothing more then dieing in combat to get back home.

I'm almost done with Overlord. Meh. It's interesting enough to finish, but the main character and all his NPCs are so OP there hasn't been any real fights or sense of danger through out the whole thing.

I finished it last night. If there was a season 2, I'd watch it. After doing a bit of research on the light novel, the story sounds pretty good. The pace of the light novel is going to cause issues as its not even finished yet and its been going since 2012. This first season was just a really long introduction to the story. I feel like this anime shouldn't have come out for another 5 years. I also learned that Tokyo Ghoul basically Fullmetal Alchemisted it's manga... which would explain why its so shit IMO.

The Japanese take a totally different approach to making anime than the west does with TV shows or Movies (Minus TWD). It seems the Manga/Light Novel gets hot, and they immediately have to start making anime off of it and pump out episodes until they run out of material. Then they choose whether to make the right decision and wait, or say  "fuck this original content" and fuck it up more often than not. Also from what I understand, new season are solely based off DVD sales rather than TV raitings and advertisement revenue like here. I get most of it, but I dont get the jumping the gun so fast on these manga's. Its irritating to wait years for another season via Attack on Titan.

  2. Holy cow there seems to be a subscription crate for everything now. AC Filters, Clothes, Bras, Candy, etc. XD I actually just signed up for Umai Crate. It seems to be the most unique and best value. Its just a box full of different Japanese instant ramens. I'll report if its any better than the cheap shitty ramen you can get at the grocery store. For $25 a month, the box seems to be full of 7-9 bags/boxes/cups of various types. If I'm not impressed with the first box, I'll cancel it and feel like it was worth trying something interesting. I watched a few youtube unboxings and taste tests and it seems to be pretty well received, even in the comments on their facebook posts. I recently had authentic ramen at a local hole in the wall and it was amazing. I always thought ramen was just that shitty Nissin stuff. XD Some of the videos I watched, its def a little more complex than just pouring hot water into noodles and a tiny spice packet. Some of them have multiple packets to enter in before and after water is added. And apparently there are suggested fresh add ons you can buy separately at the grocery store. Things you obviously can't dehydrate like hard boiled eggs.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Everything is rng now, even our food. Lol. Definitely let me know how that ramen turns out. I've had a few slightly fancy ones with multiple packets. It had a packet of freeze dried veggies, a spice packet and a broth packet. It wasn't that impressive tho. My favorite ramen is still the nong shim brand kimichi ramen. It has a nice spiciness to it that nothing else really matches in terms of flavor and its only $1.20 per bowl at the store. For some reason it's sold in the international section instead of with all the other ramen.

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

It was either this one or the Candy Club. I don't want to feel obligated to destroy 3 tubs of candy a month. It just seems so unhealthy. At least Ramen lasts a good while before having to be used. XD

    3. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Before you know it you'll have a stock pile of ramen that'll turn into christmas presents. XD Everyone will remember it as the christmas you gave ramen to everyone. XD

  3. I caught up on Overlord's season 2 simuldub. So far it's entertaining but all over the place. There isn't as much action so far which is disappointing. All these characters are so OP, but that was what was great about season 1. Especially since Ainz vs. Shalltear was an amazing finale with two ultra OP characters going at it like a chess game. However I figure everything happening now is leading up to something bigger. They're spending more time world building in season 2 in which they did very little of in season 1. Plus season 3 was ordered. People can say what they want about Funi, but I bet there are some series out there that would have never been renewed past it's first season 6-8 years ago. Props to netflix too even though their series are hit and miss. I finished A.I.C.O. Incarnation last night, while it didn't blow me away, I enjoyed it.. same goes for ID-0. It's come a long way from Toonami, spending days downloading stuff off Limewire and torrents, or staying up til 4am in hopes Sci-Fi played Akira or Vampire Hunter D

    1. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

Overlord was pretty much saved by the fans and Funi (was extremely happy to see it was green lit for a 3rd season). Season 2 has been hit or miss (still haven't watched ep 13 yet (see CR just put it up), I'll watch it Friday night when I continue watching Steins;Gate) but considering what they're building toward shit will get interesting next season (yea, I read ahead on the wiki for it so I already know whats going to happen). Plus seeing Sebas kick some serious ass has been a high point for me this season (and seeing Cocytus wipe the floor with those lizard people was fucking awesome). I still miss the action of season 1 but this has been a fun trip so far plus it's nice to see them do some character building, I felt last season didn't really introduce the character well enough (well the human ones, though I do wish they'd go into who Victim is a little more then they have. Based on what the wiki says he's the most powerful NPC in Nazerick with the exception of one that has yet to be introduced).

I haven't given anything on Netflix the time of day considering most of what they're producing just doesn't interest me. I give them props for giving original anime a shot but they all pretty much follow the same formula. Shit I still download shit thought I will admit I do a lot less then I did 3 years ago, Crunchyroll has spoiled me too much with all they're getting recently (I'm like a kid in a candy store with all the shit they're getting licenses for).

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

Kuromukuro was the best thing they've come out with so far IMO. The rest is very mediocre besides AJIN maybe.

  4. I completed my 6th world completion on Guild Wars 2. It will probably be my last. Mounts definitely made this one much easier to complete, but it still wasn't much fun. My first two runs were done the old school way with WvW map requirements. My third, forth, and fifth were done post HoT with gliding, and elite specs providing me with more mobility and power. This last one took less than half the time, but the hearts are so tedious, it's too much. The Beetle is cool for zipping around the map and unfogging everything. You may pick up a few WP and POI along the way, but if you were to move from heart to heart, half the time you'd just get your boost meter full and you'd be at your destination already. The raptor is still the best for these scenarios. The best thing the Beetle is for is getting to an event fast before it completes. Also the skimmer made maps dominated by lakes and ocean so much faster. With 10 gifts of Exploration, I doubt I'll ever grind out the Gift of Mastery track 10 times to go with it. I kind of wish I would have bought more than I did before that change occurred.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I hear you about that gift of battle. I should have bought 10 of those damn things when I could have. Meanwhile I have that mastery track set to be always repeating and whenever I see a WvW daily that is "spend currency" I buy some crappy food, get the potion for the reward track and dump it into it. I'm halfway to another gift of battle after a year and I haven't played wvw in over a year. lol.

That beetle is great at long distances but starting with no endurance and the slow build up time its a bit too tedious for me. That and I clip on every bit of ground somehow and stop all my momentum. -_-; I would say it'd be great for the silverwastes but I doubt it will all the little ground outcroppings that it would clip on if a jump wasn't timed perfectly. I bet that beetle would shine on maps like cursed shore where there are no hearts.

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

I had all of Orr done before the beetle. Its probably the most depressing part of WC because it's so dreary. I knocked it out first this time. 😂 You're probably right though.

  5. I don't drink much soda anymore unless I'm at the theater or some other public event. But every time I see something new I gotta try it. My grocery store got some new specialty sodas in this week. Some haven't come in yet that I sill want to try. I've already had Cheerwine before which is basically a Dr. Pepper variation clone. They had some Faygo with real sugar, and a Shirley Temple soda that was liquid diabetes. But there was one called Moxie and it was pretty fucking nasty. XD It didn't say what it was, so I assumed it was just some type of cola... which it was with a vile aftertaste that can only be described as bitter grapefruit extract with a pinch of dirt. Apparently its an old soft drink made in the late 1800's and it should have stayed there because its nasty AF.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I remember trying a cab of TaB back in the 80s. That was the nastiest soda I ever drank. XD faygo with real sugar sounds good. I used too drink faygo all the time when I was a kid.

Tab is the Good & Plenty of soda. XD I remember they came out with an energy drink about 10 years ago, and it almost made me throw up drinking it.

  6. I don't know how anyone can bare to play open world PvE content with the Ele class... at least its base. I haven't unlocked tempest yet. It has no burst damage, its squishy, and its down state is ass. Highest DPS in the game... but only sustained. I can burst mobs better with every other class. Range attacks are the death of you. Doing the Jade Maw heart on Ember Bay was so frustrating, the lack of CC the class has is astonishing. I have no idea how everyone loves it. I'm sure its amazing in fractals and raids, but for casual play its a nightmare.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Ah, I see. That makes more sense. I can't stand thief or elementalist because the slightest lag will get you killed. I'd rather face tank everything with my necro, warrior, ranger or guardian. :D I have a mesmer but I suck with her unless I'm camping greatsword. XD

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

Thief is pretty fun when you get the hang of it. I like it way more than ele because you can always escape if you're in serious danger. I just did bitterfrost completion with my ele and it was the most frustrating thing I've ever done in this game. Ele has no mobility for how squishy it is, its nearly impossible to skip mobs that can range attack. I died 3-4 times trying to get to the second POI in that starting cave, and I died about 3 more times trying to skip the mobs to get to the Svanir vista. With my Thief I could have just used Shadow Refuge, or the short bow skill 4 to skip them all easily.... or I could have fought and melted them all with psychical strikes unlike Ele's slow casting attacks. Unless the new elite spec is amazing, I'll never do WC with an Ele. The only thing I'd do with Ele is WvW because its a monster on the back line.

  7. I feel sorry for anyone that wanted to buy a NES classic at retail price. The last of them will be shipped out til the end of the month. Never wanted one myself, but a lot of friends did. This is why emulators will always be a thing.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

My younger brother bought one at retail price just 2 days ago. lol. Lucky for him since he's wanted it for months now. I bet these will jump up in price on ebay soon. Nintendo's shitty supply and demand issues really make me want to avoid their products. I feel like if I'm really interested in something from their company they'll somehow screw it up so more scalpers can profit. If they announce a SNES classic next, everyone will assume it'll be the same shitty supply and buy the absolute hell out of them to resell.

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

They've tripled in price on ebay. I wish I could stumble into. 3 of them and make a quick $1000.

  8. I finally managed to flip something for a massive profit on GW2. Apparently I bought a few Superior Runes of Antitoxin pre HoT an tossed them in my old guild's bank. They were barely worth 60s each when I bought them according to GW2Spidy, and today they are worth 9g each. I'll make 57g when they all sell. At long last a successful flip. XD All the rest of the runes I bought are still worthless.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Good flip! XD When you collect those profits, smile like this...

  9. I finisned Aldnoah.Zero on Netflix. It was def one of the better mecha anime I've seen in a while. Serious plot, good political drama, awesome mecha design, and great action every episode. The emotionless child prodigy was a turnoff are first, but the supporting cast made it work.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I finished season 1 tonight. I thought the ending was perfect. Then season 2 started and negated it all. wtf. >_< I'll finish season 2 this upcoming week. I hate emotionless child prodigies. If not for the lack of a female character preaching about pacifisim, this show could have been called "Gundam: Aldnoah.Zero" :P

      Spoiler

The Vers could have owned the earth so easily. But instead of fighting with a big army or at least with a squad, all their OP knights decided to be 1 many armies. I thought after the first couple died, they'd have wised up and grab some support troops, but nope.. they just keep falling like dominoes.

The Vers empire doesn't make sense to me. If the power to initiate the power source could be transferred with a kiss and was tied to their genetic structure, the knights could have overthrown the emperor, force them to activate everything they need and keep him and his family in jail cells or restricted restraints to prevent them from killing themselves and thus deactivating the tech. There was no need for an actual cast system in their society as far as I can tell. Same with this little wheel chair girl in season 2. The Vers Empire's selective breeding of this power is probably why all these knights died against one kid prodigy / vulcan that had nothing more than an education and logic on his side. Since they were born into their privilege they didn't care about actual battle tactics or common sense like bringing support troops to a fight.

Same with the princess. She is the typical weak character that is only important because she simply exists, acts as a plot device in only 1 or 2 key moments and is only important because of her parents, much like Eureka in Eureka 7 and Elizabeth Liones from Seven Deadly Sins.

I did like the battles in this. One of the things that really separate this from a gundam series is the lack of repeat fighting. At least for the first season. If this was gundam, everyone would fight, get more pissed at each other, then escape and go their separate ways, get some new suit upgrade, rinse and repeat. But with Aldnoah.Zero, they kill people and the plot progresses. Yay. :D The plot came together good in the end of season 1 and season 2 was just about to do some space battles right before I shut it off. Looks promising so far.

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

Yeah, season 2 gets a lot better as it goes on. So do the battles. The whole feudal system makes the vers interesting.

    3. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I finished this up yesterday. It definitely got better in season 2.

      Spoiler

I liked the other characters, like the PTSD guy, but no character got a hero moment in the entire series because Inaho was involved in every single enemy death. Just when I think one of the other characters was going to shine, Inaho intervened by shooting the enemy from space even tho he wasn't involved with the fight at all. Ruined that fight for me. lol. I'd have rather seen some good guys die as long as I could have seen a single fight that didn't involve Inaho.

Inaho's eyeball was so powerful he could watch a battle in space while standing on the earth's surface. He basically had a satellite with an AI system in his head. His eyeball was the most advanced technology they had compared to Vers' mars tech. They could have put that AI and vision system into all their mechs for a huge advantage.

A main character with a special left eye and a feudal system setting made the second season feel a bit too much like Code Geass. Even Slaine with his dodging ability in his mech was pretty much the same ability of that other guy in Code Geass.

      I didn't like Inaho. XD

  10. I found my first great fairy fountain in BoTW, its probably one of the most beautiful places in all of gaming. It sent chills up my spine when I heard the music. This game doesn't feature heavily thematic background music, a lot of it are very subtle takes on the classic tunes, but the fairy jingle was as traditional as always.

  11. I got Blue Devil for the SL Sweeper today.. so yeah I got every legendary skin this week without buying a battlepack. I just wish they weren't all damn jungle camo. Blue Devil looks the same as The Riot for the Model 10, The Mexican for the Mondragon, and the one for the Madsen... The Doughboy for the BAR was the only one that was unique.... and the one I have for the M1912. (Damn that pistol is shit XD)

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I'm starting to wonder if some of the blue skins are actually a more uncommon drop than the legendaries. I say that because I see equal amounts of legendary skins as I do blue ones on my death screens.

  12. I got my Cinch Gaming controller today. Its really nice. I'm impressed that the grip isn't some added rubber overlay like I thought it would be, Its actually the plastic on the controller. Its a different material, clearly 3D printed soft plastic. The custom buttons are nice, I guess I hold my controller a bit wonky and never realized it. I can hit the melee button easily, but the jump button is awkward to me with how I rest my hand on the controller. I'll get use to it. The Xbox sticks are a big improvement.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Right after you buy a custom controller, Sony announces 2 3rd party licenced esports controllers. XD

      https://blog.eu.playstation.com/2016/10/26/first-look-at-two-new-licensed-pro-controllers-for-ps4/

I'm assuming they'll be coming out to the US even tho this was posted on the EU PSN blog. the Xbox style controller looks great.

      DeathscytheX

Those are ugly as hell. XD

  13. I had a pretty productive night on BF1. Got a triple kill with a tank grenade, my 4th service star for the Model 10, and 4 battlepacks (1 from premium and then 3 matches in a row). I got 3 blues out of it putting me at 840 scrap. I just need another blue or two more battlepacks to be ready for Revision 3. Last time I got 4 in a row, I didn't get another one for like 10 matches. X_X RNG gonna RNG.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I'm trying to rank up my support class so I can get a BAR unlocked but these lmgs are so crap all I can do is spam mortar. x_x

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

The Madsen is OK with the AA sights even with the top mag, try it out until the BAR. AA irons make a world of difference.

    3. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Ah, maybe thats my main problem. I've been using the cross hair sights on the lewis suppressive and for some reason I keep overcompensating when people are running. That and the bouncing of the gun is aggravating to me. I'd shoot it in bursts but that actually gives me less control. And then if I keep the gun shooting for better accuracy it overheats. These lmgs are so shit in this game. -_-; If I could equip a shotgun or smg on this class i'd never touch the lmgs again.

  14. I had the most epic 3-2 Victory on Lijiang Tower. It was probably the most intense, close, evenly matched bout I've ever had in competitive. We won the 1st, lost the next 2, and came back with two wins. The last match no one even captured the point for a good 5-6 minutes of contesting. I got 59 objective kills, 75 eliminations, and 30k damage as Junkrat. I wish every match was like that, instead I mostly get steam roller matches win or lose.

  15. I hope the next character Overwatch release is a defense or tank. I keep getting the teams where someone thinks they're a Ana pro. So many losses because of it. It's always my team too. We've resorted to a friend picking Ana, and then when we load in he swaps and I spam emotes and voice lines to cover up the swap. -_-;

    1. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

If her stealth aspect that everyone is guessing becomes true, she could be defense too. If she can cloak, my guess is that her DPS will be on par with Genji's standard attack. She might get a big burst combo like Junkrat's trap/mine or Roadhog's hook-shoot-melee.

I've been playing a lot more Roadhog lately and enjoying it. His self sustain is really good, plus I love hole hog on a surprise flank. It's a triple kill almost every time. If Ana is the only healer I'll go with Roadhog or 76 and heal my damn self. Everytime I try to take one for the team I die to much to make a difference as a healer. Sometimes I'll go with Zenyatta too, but he needs line of sight like Ana, and some people don't know when to come back and get healed, even when I try to be Lucio, people play like mercy was picked and is pocket healing them. XD Mercy's mobility is wild now. She's very hard to hit unless your Reaper, D.Va, Roadhog, or Soldier where you can spray and pray.

  16. I just finished Drifters on Funimation. Its from the same people that made Hellsing. This was a better product IMO. I honestly don't get all the love for Hellsing as its ending is shit, and a lot of stuff is never resolved. The premise of Drifters is that legendary historical warriors/fighters/tacticians passed on to a different realm when they died and end up on the good or evil side of a new war. You have people like Rasputin, Anastasia, Joan of Arc, Sundance Kid, Butch Cassidy, and a lot of Japanese legends... most notably Oda Nobunaga. Whats strikingly controversial is that Jesus is pretty much an evil overlord, even though they cover his face and call him the "Black King" the fact that he has holes in his hands, and can heal, and produce food out of nothing makes me laugh when I looked it up and the wiki says "His identity is still a mystery". XDYou can just listen to the stuff he says and know who it is. Anyways, the action is great, the gore is on the same level of Hellsing, and the story is really good. Season 2 should be coming out in the future.

    1. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

The thing you have to remember about Hellsing is the manga was still publishing when the first series was created which is why is ended like it did (believe me when I tell you shit gets a lot darker and fucking crazy later in the manga). Hellsing Ultimate (the one you should watch (if you have and still have those thoughts I just don't know about you anymore :P) adapts the actual manga into 10 50 minute episodes (definitely the version to watch if you haven't, I've only see up to ep 4 but I have it all to watch, just need to find time to actually do so (so much shit to watch on Crunchyroll and I just started watching Rick and Morty so I have that to get caught up on as well)).

Meh, I might have to check that out if I find time to (Crunchyroll does have it so it wouldn't be out of my way to do so).

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

I did watch it all and I still didn't like the ending. XD I liked it better overall, but It just didn't do it for me. The animation for Drifters is on par with Hellsing Ultimate. I mean there is absolutely no doubt who made it. My only gripe is they threw so many different people in there, they all didn't get a lot of time. It mainly focused on the trio of Oda Nobunaga, Shimazu Toyohisa, and Nasu Suketaka Yoichi. They teased that Scipio Africanus and Hannibal would play a big part using their tactics to turn the tide of battle against the Black King, but Nobunaga seemed to have to have it under control. Then again it only covered a small part of the story with the promise of a new season at the end. I probably like this one better because I'm a history nerd and they just threw in a bunch of people I've studied in the past so I was geeking out, despite the crazy liberties the took. XD I also like how they took notable figures you wouldn't paint as evil and made them so. Its just an overall nice touch.

    3. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

I just don't know about you then XD

I still don't know how Hellsing actually ends (like I said have not had time to finish Ultimate and I only read through volume 8 of the manga) but I still absolutely adore the show/manga. Chock it up to it being a Vampire that wasn't sparkly (thank you Twilight for forever ruining Vampires and Werewolves >.<) and a show/manga that was actually gory as all fucking hell (plus Father Anderson is one of my all time favorite characters).

  17. I just found out Overwatch competitive rewards are based on your season high and not current standing. I would have been more aggressive if I would have known. -_-;

      DeathscytheX

Not only that, but it will give people that prefer that format something to hone their skills in between seasons. Plus competitive matches are longer so you gain more XP overall, even if its a double blow out. As fun as it is to crush the other team quickly in QP, you generally get a laughable PoTG, and little XP. XD

    3. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

That would be amazing but I doubt it'll happen. QP competitive mode would be the equivilant of solo queue for GW2 ranked. They'll never implement it because it would make the queues alot longer for the regular ranked mode. Even with Overwatch's massive user base a QP competitive mode would suck away a good chunk of users out of the matchmaking for regular competitive. As soon as the game starts to get a 3-5 minute queue for a competitive match people will assume the game is dying and move onto another game or go for QP only.

    4. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

Nah, it wouldn't change anything. COD has multiple game modes and they've never had any issues. Overwatch has a COD sized player base right now as well. I remember one of the CODs had 2 different TDMs and it didn't effect either one. GW2 suffers because of its casual nature. Overwatch is built around PVP.

  19. I just saw the most efficient DS in GW2 history. 48 minute finish, no blighted room resets, and a 1 burn mouth kill. The bomb site landed on the island next to the mouth attack, we had perfect might stack and CC. Damn it, was satisfying.

      Thats impressive.

  20. I logged into BF1 today for the first time in 3 days and I had a Superior and Regular R5 battlepack waiting on me. I have no idea where they came from. I got the gold skin for the 12g automatic, but I scrapped it. R6 is pretty lame this week, I'll keep saving my scrap.... I'm waiting on a Legendary Martini skin.

That or a hook for people to buy them now that they're in the store.

I take it back,  it is premium. I just saw it on Facebook. Lol

I got on today for an hour and I did get a regular battlepack. I got a white and an xp boost that I immediately scrapped for 270. Maybe DICE was being generous with that free battlepack for non premium.

  21. I miss playing Overwatch :/. I didn't think I'd have this type of withdraws. I can't wait to relax on my vacation and play. :D

Poor, poor DX XD I can't lie I kinda miss playing it too. Thankfully I have new Rainbow 6 DLC to play to keep me distracted.

That was a solid beta and it was a fun game. I wish I had more time to try every character out thoroughly.

  22. I never got into Samurai Jack, and now I really don't like Samurai Jack because the marathon is going to delay the AoT dub episode on Funimation since it wont air on CN this week. -_-; WTF.

I wish the ending went a bit differently but I am glad we finally got closure. The series was definitely artistic. The purposeful lack of black border lines is what really thru alot of people off from it in the beginning. Its alot like the cell shading and wrong human body types in Legend of Zelda Wind Waker. That game's lack of black border lines separating colors and large heads thru me off from that game initially. Samurai Jack grew on me quick tho. The 300 episode with the Spartans was one of my favorites. :D And anything with the Scotsman. :D

Meh, I felt the ending was forced as if they were just trying to live up to our expectations but fell sadly short (I mean I was all happy for Jack until the ending fully played out, plus the whole Daughters of Aku thing jsut didn't fell natural for how the show originally progressed). Honestly I thought they could of done more with the ending, maybe flesh out the season some more of make a sixth season to wrap everything up a lot nicer. Ohwell, overall it wasn't badly done it just left a sour taste in my mouth.

Honestly I never had a problem with the art direction (in fact I actually really like it) then again I'm an artist and I like this artsy shit (though cel shading will never be art, it's just poorly done and looks terrible). I thought it fit the story and setting quite well. Honestly I really need to re-watch the series completely to get a better feel for the ending because I honestly don't remember it all that well beyond Season 2 (I've seen it completely through but I honestly don't remember the middle two seasons)

Me and lady rewatched the entire series just before the final season began airing. It helped alot since so many characters and events were referenced in season 5. I was hoping Jack would have defeated aku twice. Once in the future and again in the past.. just in case that future was already set as an alternate time line regardless of the past being changed at that point. It broke my heart to think that the butterfly effect of Jack defeating aku in the past would negate everything he did in the future and all the ppl who may not even exist now as a result of the time line change. I wish we could have gotten an epilogue with scenes of an aku free future were the Scotsman was still enjoying life with his daughters.

  23. I played defense on Volskaya Industries with everyone being Bastion. XD OMG we dominated so hard the whole other team left the lobby after the match. XD

    1. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

Only one guy was Genji, no Widowmakers, they had a Zenyatta, soldier 76, reaper, and Roadhog. There might have been dupes because those are the only heroes I saw on the other team. It only worked because it was on Volskaya. That B point is too advantageous to bunker down in.

I read that ppl are getting a bit burned out on the limited map rotation. Are you feeling any map fatigue yet?

Not yet because I have been able to play much, my vertigo subsided for me to play again. I give it a while after it goes away before I try to play.

  24. I wonder if COD is gonna put out any pre E3 hype like a lot of companies have done the last 2-3 days. They're gonna get overshadowed by BF1 and they might even get boo'ed off the stage. XD

    1. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

They'll try but they'll fail since everyone will be more interested in BF1 and EA Play (which takes place before E3).

I'll be watching the live footage if I remember to watch it for the BF1 64 player battle and watching all the videos Jack, Level, Matimi0, and XFactor put out for it (and possible Neebs as well).

  25. I'll give credit where its due. Microsoft had a pretty good E3 presentation. But sadly for them the XBox One X is like the Wii U in title. Its going to get them screwed up. On top of that what percentage of the base is going to be using 4k? $500 is steep. Its like the Goldstar 3DO... unnecessarily ahead of its time. They had some time exclusive stuff, but Sony had real exclusives like Spider-Man, Days Gone, and of course God of War.

    1. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

Problem is why would you shell out money for a console with a 4k BD Player if you don't have a TV capable of playing it? I think this is the reason Sony didn't go with one, why waste money and potential sales due to cost when most of your consumer base doesn't have the tech to run it. Then again I say this after buying a PC more powerful than the XBoneX/PS4 Pro will ever be (though I do not have a 4k BD player or 4k monitor and I wouldn't waste money on it. 4k gaming is a pipe dream that only the super rich can afford and at that it's not true 4k gaming since most PC's aren't powerful enough to run it). I didn't really catch the conference since I've lost all interest in E3 (I get more excited for TGS and Gamescom) but I got the gist from Twitter (and most people were pretty underwhelmed by MS's showing).

Reason why Sony has more exclusives is because they are actually focused on gaming, not being the center entertainment hub of you're room (which is MS's big thing for the XBoneX).

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

I'm going to be salty when XBone gets the early access to all the Anthem content. I know its coming since they get the Battlefield stuff. Kinda sad that we got Activision this time when last gen it was flip flopped. I know I was glad to get Destiny exclusives before ya know... I never got them. *cough*Hawkmoon*cough*. But fuck COD.

    3. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

You know it's going to happen what with Playstation having timed exclusivity for Destiny 2 content and sadly it's only fair. The XBone hasn't really had any exclusive DLC for games that are really worth anything (their only real exclusive worth anything is Halo and those honestly aren't worth the console anymore).
