I'm going to pass on MGS V myself.. at least for now. I played ground zeroes and I couldn't figure out how to stealth kill unconscious enemies so I got pissed at the game. I could kick them to death, but that took too long. I can pick them up and throw them off a cliff, but I can't just stab them in the throat while they lay there sleeping? wtf. x_x

It was probably taken out of the game because once you knock them out they don't wake up unless you stay too close to them or another guard finds them and wakes them back up. I tranqed a lot of guards during missions and they stayed down the rest of the duration. It's a welcomed change to encourage full stealth runs.

It is a fun class, but have you been instant killed by guardian burning while playing it yet? it'll happen.

Burn Guard will always be my PvP main.

have the NPC's help... however in the living world the NPCs are bad asses and really help out. On top of that they will actually revive you while getting attacked... so I'm finding the living world chapters to be more enjoyable.

Thats good. The best part about the NPCs in GW1 was that they would revive you and use all their available skills. But you also had some control over them. You could set them to go to specific areas to attack, tell them to use a specific skill on demand, etc. So if my entire team was getting wiped out, I'd tell the monks to run a half mile a way and slowly come back to revive us one at a time. It was very effective with elite revive / healing skills. My one monk could revive people from a...

I thought Super 8 was decent. I could have sworn I heard an interview where J.J. Abrams said he didn't want to work with kids again because of his experience with the child actors from Super 8 but I can't find it. lol. I don't think he liked those kids.

I thought the kids did a pretty good job... better than the cliche grown ups.

The adults in the movie were not that good. I liked the alien tho.

My guess is that it'll be emblems. I hope there are some cool Ghost casings and ship skins tho. I saw some other sites listing the codes and they've been posted on bungie's forums by some users so whatever it is won't seen as exclusive now.

It'll still be kinda rare. They were given out near the beginning with little to no real gameplay footage. I would say maybe a few thousand out of the millions will have it, and thats split between 4 consoles.

...ince I started downloading and watching anime online 11 years ago the only way I watch anime is subbed now (hence the reason why I don't watch anime on Netflix, I know they're getting better about it but when it first started all they had were dubs for anime (and anime I watched as subbed first)).

I really don't get why Steve Blum doesn't do more voice work. He's def top notch even though he only has that once cadence. He was awesome as Spike in Bebop and Mugen in Samurai Champloo.

You should check out some of the anime on Netflix strider. Most of it is dual audio worth subs available. There's even sub only anime on there. If you ever put one on and its in English, hit the lower menu while the show is on and the audio/sub options will be right there. And yes.. slayers English is superior. *nod*

I always go through gamestop as well just because it's most convenient/least amount of hassle for me.

Seriously. I was in a 10 minute car chase last night. IHad to switch vehicles near the end because the truck I was in looked like it was going to explode from damage.

Thats the main reason I maxed out my battery first. I would constantly run out of juice trying to take them out via blockers and traffic lights.

I understand that. I could have cut the time down on that chase if I didn't keep running out of power.

I thought so until the last episode. Shes not in the group that got caught. Its probably going to be one or more between Daryl, Glenn, Michonne, Rosita, Morgan, and Carol. Although I find it funny how the majority of everyone is wearing the same color jacket to cover up who was laying in the ground in the preview. Michonne is off the table IMO, everyone else is fair game.

Nice. Don't spoil anything for me! This reminds me of all those mangas I would read and when the anime episodes catches up, I'd start complaining because that wasn't how it was in the book.

I can already tell you before I got passed the Governor that the book is way better than the TV series. But there are some things I don't think they could pull off for the TV... and they certainly toned many things down... Like the confrontation between Michonne and the Gov? Yeah... way more brutal... especially how he loses his eye

I still don't get the hoopla over Abyss. Its 3rd tier rare, and I don't care what people say, it is not darker than Midnight Ice. I've previewed it several times, and I just don't see it.

I think it's only darker if you have some top of the line monitor with amazing contrast, but it looks identical to midnight ice to me on the majority of armor pieces I have.

But I have a top of the line 24 inch monitor . It may look better on metallic surfaces, but on pure cloth is looks like garbage compared to Midnight Ice. It tries to hard to show off the "detail" I guess and ends up looking a little greyish. It doesn't do it for me. Crimson Red does a similar affect that works really well. I guess to each his own.

I dunno yet. If you collect whole sets of collectables like intel, phone recordings, etc, you get more fashion items. I bet these are the best looking.

It's just a little site/widget that keeps track of all your gaming accounts stats and achievements. When someone on your friends list is playing a game it pops up similar to steam.

Yea, just another app for tracking stats and a gaming community (they also offer some nice rewards for certain games as well). I only joined because it was the only way to track things on my GameSpot account and stuck around. Speaking of which I should probably go befriend Epples on it.

Now that I've completed a few quests in this game, and had my first major boss fight, I can confidently say the story has me hooked. There really needs to be more games like this that go back to basics, while advancing the ways of telling stories.
