Gurren Lagann has been gone almost a year now . I wanted to watch it but by the time I got around to it, it was gone. Naruto and Inuyasha didn't have the dubs and Naruto was in 4:3 as well. They just removed a good chuck this past month. Corpse Princess is gone .

They've also have anime where they only have the second season, and took the 1st down when they got it like Spice and Wolf. Um WTF? How can I want to watch that If I haven't seen season one?

Thats a shame.. If you ever see Gurren Lagann on there again, watch it ASAP before it disappears again. That series is beyond epic.

You know, I didn't really care much for the movie. It was very.....generic. I figured out the plot within the first 10 minutes, and that's not a good thing.

Meh, I had it figured out in 10 minutes as well but I enjoyed it for what it was, another reason to see Vash act like a goofball. I wasn't expecting anything groundbreaking with it (though I would go for a redo of the series that follows the actual manga).

Yeah It made me laugh. I guess I miss me some Trigun. It was nice to see the gang back together.

It wasnt down for long, but still it had me wondering if HL3 was announced . The web store said it was too heavily burdened.

lmao! If they ever announced HL3, their servers probably would go down from over 5 million people loading the website at the exact same time.

I still thing Colleen Clinkenbeard and Michelle Ruff need to be hired for Sailor Moon's potential Funi Dub. Uranus and Pluto would be the likely candidates. IMO.

Ugh, The only issue I have with this anime is that cases take between 2-4 episodes. Its an interesting structure, but I like to watch a whole case through, So I know if I don't have 1-2 hours to watch (because I gotta be at work early in the morn), I just don't. I'm on the last case and its a 4 episode one.

It sounds good that the show does cases.. its easier to watch chunks of a couple episodes at a time.. unlike One Piece.. Entire arcs last 45 episodes.

So what your saying is that I should give it a go? I've been debating about watching it for awhile but just didn't know if it was worth it.

I liked it. I wouldn't rank it as one of my tops, but I found it enjoyable. It was worth my time. It starts out as a mix of light humor and drama with a sprinkle of action, the action increases as the story progresses. Very little if anything that can be considered fan service.

Hmmm, I'll have to give it a shot then when I wittle my backed up anime pile down a bit more (it's a massive pile)

I ran out of anime to watch so I started it. Natsu is voiced by the same guy that did Kyoji (Baka + Test), Layfon (Chrome Shelled Regios), Hayato (Sekirei), Android 19 (DBZ), Ling (FMA: Brotherhood), Apos (RIN: Daughters of Mnemosyne), Naru (Ghost Hunt), Watanuki (xxxHolic), and Nagasumi (My Bride is a Mermaid) Dude gets around, Andriod 19 is the only time he sounded different. lol

hahaha. Try switching it over to japanese and you'll hear how drastically different their voices are. Sometimes I like to switch the audio back and forth just to hear the vocal pitch differences. Sometimes a high or low pitched voice fits certain character types, but a lot of english VAs seem to only have those larger pitch changes when a character is a huge guy or if someone is a weaker character.

I'm so far behind in that game. Lack of money means I'm on the free to play, which isn't that bad, but my smuggler feels kinda stuck. ><

The only negative thing I can say is that the final boss was relatively normal in difficulty. I only met 3 bosses that handed my ass to me.

Play an Inquisitor then, you'll get your ass handed to you more then that. Man I really need to get back on this and finish my characters. Damn you internet and damn you STO for sucking up my free time.

Yeah, if it does't have adult themes its a damn vampire anime. I'm really getting tired of those. I've just about run out of things on Netflix to watch that aren't vampire animes, I've been avoiding them because I'm so worn out on it.

That's the problem with every character's companions, the healer is usually the best (which is sad really). Plus Warriors are in the forefront with no healing abilities so you kinda gimp yourself if you don't use Quinn. The exception to this is Andronikos on the Assassin. Since I'm tanked specced and have built in healing abilities I only need a dps companion. Makes quest grinding go a lot faster.

Jaesa is amazing in combat, and I like to use her because I spent so many hours to get her. But when those walking elite's sneak up on me when I'm battling 3-5 regulars, It hurts with no heals as Sith Warrior. Quinn is shit as a fighter.

If it wasn't for Force Charge he'd die on me more than usual. I wish I had Jaesa during the sand demon fight. lol

X'D Oh come on you know you liked it. The original op is so much better. Falling Down by Oasis fit the show so well

I'm not denying it was a catchy tune.... but once install into the brain, it becomes torture! lol

The manga is so much better but I thoroughly enjoyed the anime. Been forever since I last watched it though (should probably dig out the DVD's again and give it a watch through)

I'm trying to watch Burst Angel now, but I'm not really feeling it right now... it it worth continuing after 3 eps?

I'll only read Volumes... I blew through both of those within an hour and I'm already feigning for more. Issues would be too small for me.

Good choice, kinda out there and gets confusing as you get further in but hell of a show. I loved every minute of it.

I can't stand some of the japanese voices. Goku sounds like a girly child and all the power up screaming is too funny to be serious , and Felli in Chrome Shelled is better in english because the VA nailed her emotionless state way better than the japanese version. I like Blackstar's "YAHOO" in english better, even though the raspy trunks voice is a bit annoying. lol There are some pretty bad dubs out there though. Sailor Moon, Dragonball, or anything dubbed in the 80s early...

I prefer Blackstar's Japanese VA, I think he nails his hyperactive personality exactly. Then again I barely made it through 15 minutes of the first ep dubbed before my ears started to bleed so I never did get to fully hear the raspy trunks voice.

Geez... the Sand Demon was unnecessarily difficult. I was 4 levels above it and it still killed me 3 times. Borderline heroic boss. I had to take out its 2 minions, die, medical probe revive, rebuild my fury/rage on generic enemies around the cave, activate every single buffer I had, and I still had to use a med pack half way through.

Yea that was not a fun fight, I hated doing it on my Juggernaut (even in heavy armor it still hits like a truck and Quinn couldn't keep up on the heals). Had to pop every single one of my cooldowns to drop the thing.

The reflection fight was even more insane. lol. I'm glad I got to encounter the box you should never open again... although I rather would have solved some more riddles

I finished it... it ended up being super sappy, and even in the end it was really resolved. Grr.

Its 50 episodes over 4 seasons. I've passed on it for a long time becasue the art style kinda turned me off, but I regret I didnt watch this sooner.

It's got plenty of action and so much humor. It's definitely worth watching Sledge. It's one of the best purchases I've made, anime wise, in a long time.

I'll watch a few eps and see how it goes.
