What's this Ford you speak of? Are those the vehicles you are Found on Road Dead? All joking aside I'll never buy one after all the trouble my Dad has had with them. On that note never buy a Buick, I've had nothing but trouble with my damn LeSabre since I bought the thing 5 years ago (I replaced the Transmission 2 years ago, $2100 down the drain and still having trouble with it).

This is an old car that is nearing 100k miles, but its given me more wear and tear issues than the previous two cars I've owned. One that was just as old and had more miles, and my first car that started out with 112k miles on it. Parts of the exhaust like to fall off of it, power steering goes out with full fluid, now this.

Holy shit that's costly. I had similar issues with my old blazer. I'll never buy a GM vehicle again. Or a Ford based on the problems with yours. My toyota has been great so far. Almost 5 years and 70k miles I've only done the front brakes once and had the brake fluid flushed. I do need to do brakes again in the spring tho.
