Spoiler Alert for Iron Blooded Orphans. Funi put up the rest of season 2. Seriously fuck off... it's been a while since I've so mad about a character death. The way they killed Lafter was gut wrenching. I though Biscuit's death was bad, but fuck that was so fucked up.

Like, I expected her to get kidnapped or something, because I knew something bad was about to happen, but shit... did they have to do that? I guess they evoked the right emotion with the scene... damn...

Get used to it, the deaths don't stop there (it's only the start of a long road of turmoil and death).
Yea, Lafter's death was a gut punch especially considering the character development she got throughout S2 to that point (and after she realized her true feelings for Akihiro). Doesn't help that she was one of my favorite characters either.
It's a great turning point for Akihiro's character though (even if it does make him a little more taciturn than normal), especially toward the end of the series.

I can take death in battle better than just being murdered in cold blood during a touching moment. Especially since she was such a talented pilot and deserved better. This however cheered me up.
