    Battlefield 5 is rumored to be a WWI shooter, with how limited that is I think it will be a WWII shooter... eitherway I'm excited for an older era on modern consoles.

      I'm really hoping for a return to the WWII era, mostly because I'm sick of modern and futuristic shooters. WWI would be cool but it was all trench based warfare, that'd get kinda boring imo.

      Matim0 brings up a lot of good points in his video about why BF5 won't be WWI era and I do have to agree with a lot of them (and some of them carry over to WWII as well).

      Yeah. WWI is limited not only in weapons, but vehicles which are staples of bf games. Tanks were little more than APCs and planes were not weaponized yet. They did recon only.
