  1. Bah, I had the displeasure of spending $7.50 to see it when it came out. My friends thought it was alright but I thought it was a disappointment. Crappy movie that wasn't worth the money and gas to go see. It was entertaining though, I'll give it that.

  2. bwahaha. Try to beat that breakout score. I only stopped, because I got bored.

lol, thats the only reason I let myself lose in Space Invaders at 80,000 points. I was getting extremely bored (I could of easily broke 100,000+ points otherwise).

*ducks from the games* As long as no one takes my champion spot in Space Invaders I'll shy away from the games unless you add more games that can keep my interest.

  3. It's Epples, he can do anything (and I do mean anything).

Eh, this intrigued me so I signed up. List isn't up to where it should be because I have a hard enough time keeping track of the anime I own let alone all the anime I've seen (and thats a crap ton). It'll grow generally larger as I remember everything I've seen.

  4. Eh, not to overly impressed with what they're showing. Was happier then hell when they showed Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Solid State Society when it started in June but since then it hasn't really caught my interest (or I should say I haven't had a chance to really watch them since I work until midnight on Mondays).

From what I've caught of Noien it's somewhat piqued my interest but I really don't know what to think of it. Tokko isn't bad but for some reason the dub rubs me the wrong way (haven't seen the sub but for some reason the English VA's just annoy me). As for Macross Plus I love the show and I'm sad I didn't really get to watch it but then again I own it so that really doesn't matter.

If I'm not mistaken they're showing the new Highlander anime next week in place of Macross Plus since thats done. Kinda curious to see what it's like if I'm right.

  5. Absolutely love the series. Out of the Spring season anime it's my third favorite (coming after Darker then Black and Lucky Star).

I was going to say you should be able to find it in book stores because I know it's been licensed in the US, just don't know how much of it's out. Then again it doesn't matter since Epples sent ya that link.

  6. It's a good show but what I've seen of it (only had the pleasure of watching the first 14 eps as it came out but Shinsen stalled after that and I quit dling it). It's a very good thinking anime, making you think a lot about whats going on.

I'd go with goku's suggestion and watch a little more on FUSE before committing to buy it just in case you end up not liking it.

  7. I watched the marathons here and there between anime watching and WoW gameplay. I must say watching the episodes from the first 8 seasons really made me miss Jack. He seriously was the only thing that kept the show interesting (outside of T-man and Carter's techno bable). I'm just pissed I missed the Groundhog Day episode last night (was watching anime and caught the last 10 minutes of it), thats like my favorite SG-1 episode. Seriously though they should of brought Dean in to bring Jack back for the last episode. Jack practically made the show what it was so not to have him in the last episode was and atrocity.

You know I really am hoping they write Wier out of Atlantis. I didn't mind her in the first season but she got really annoying in the last couple. Oddly enough, and I might get lynched for this, I like Ronin's character. True he doesn't add much to the plot nor is he that interesting of a character but I just like him for some reason. Tela can be killed off for all I'm concerned. She hasn't added a damn thing to the plot since the show started.

Well it didn't exactly degrade the Asgard's intelligence by a lot, I mean it was mentioned earlier in the series that they basically killed their chances for surviving years before meeting Jack and the crew but this disease they wrote into the last episode just seems to make it sound like they weren't as smart as we thought they were. Plus to outright give their tech to the SGC like that was not like the Asgard, no matter how much Thor tried to convince us in the last episode. You'd of thought they'd of handed the tech over to the Nox to later hand down to the SGC (seeing as how the Nox were one of the 4 original races of the Alliance). They seriously left to many questions in the last episode to really satisfy us.

I suppose if they really wanted to milk out the franchise they could milk the whole Ancient Replicators story along with the Wraith. It's about the only thing they got going for them now outside of the unfinished Ori arc. I suppose there is also the Genai too but they're not really an overpowered super race so they can't exactly be taken as a threat since they don't even have space ships. If push comes to shove I'm sure they'll either create a new enemy threat, they'll find some obscure sect of our old snake friends (I'm not going to even try and spell it) that they missed when they ousted the others, or they'll just fuck something up in Atlantis and kill what little respect we have left for the franchise with it.

  8. There hasn't been any real talk or rumors spreading (I've been paying attention because I'm curious also). I'm hoping Hero Legends picks it up if they're still around. They're subs for Gundam X and Turn-A Gundam are extremely well done and I doubt many groups can match their quality.

  9. I was greatly disappointed in the Finale. I was expecting more. I mean did they beat the Ori, was the Asgard Tech actually going to be used, etc. I mean come on, where's the freaking closure. I seriously knew they'd fuck something up (ever since the Ori arc started up I knew things were going downhill). The new movie better bring some damn closure with Ori arc because where it is now we're left wanting more.

Also I doubt any of the Asgard tech will be used in Atlantis considering that the Atlantis crew is in a pretty sticky situation right now and the fact that they are sitting in one of the most advanced ships in we've ever seen I doubt they'll need it (plus Atlantis just keeps going downhill, if I remember correctly the Ancients were technologically superior to the Asgard). Plus the fact that it'll take the SGC a few years to reverse engineer the Asgard tech to be used in there current tech level. I must say I'm happy Amanda signed on for Atlantis now though (should hopefully make the show more interesting to watch).

Man they killed the Asgard. I have lost all faith in anything they can produce with in the Stargate franchise now. I mean the Asgard were the best part of the show outside of Jack. I was seriously sad when I saw them blow the planet up. I'm really going to miss Thor

  10. Good lord man I know your pain. I've had days like this myself, where things just go from bad to worse. I hope tomorrow is better for ya because frankly I'd shoot myself if I had to go through that two days in a row (and I've come close to that. Theres nothing worse then having to clean crap like that up (been there and done that with what you mentioned and vomit, I shudder at the thought of having to do it again)).

  11. Yea, I found that interesting also. Really don't know how to take it but I'm still disappointed that the Gundam formula has come down to pretty boy pilots just so they can snag female viewers.

I only hope the storyline is good and the characters prove to have interesting personalities. If they don't I might have to swear off of all new Gundams to come in the future.
