Since the BF1 servers were down yet again tonight (fucking christ DICE/EA, get your shit together) I finally beat the Tanker storyline of the campaign. I have to say if the other 5 are anything like it I'm in for a treat. This is by far one of the best campaign stories I've played for a BF game since the original Bad Company. Good lord that was fun as hell and the spark plug mission was great (I fucked with the Germans so hard it wasn't even funny).

Well I won't be getting BF1 now due to the car accident I was in today leaving work. I won't get into the details but everyone involved is ok (I have a sore shoulder wear the seat belt locked up but nothing serious) but my car is pretty much fucked so I now get to go shopping for a new one this weekend (yay, more payments I can't afford but it'll be cheaper than getting the damage repaired). What a lovely day to end my work day (and I got off early due to having to attend a quarterly meeting that suffice to say I missed).

My position with the company was cut last week. Even though they deny it's the reason... I was salary, and starting 12/1/2016 federal law will require companies to pay salary a minimum of over $10,000 more a year than I was making or pay overtime for hours worked over 40. My company responded to this by removing the position I was in which affected 700 managers company wide. I'm now hourly making $5000 less a year because I'm only working 40 hours a week. Just goes to prove you can't force companies to pay people more money. Now each store runs on one less manager and the burden of my workload falls on them. On the bright side I have more time to myself and I'll be gaming on more regular hours instead of insane late night.

Battlefield 1 comes out in 8 days, I'm ordering the early enlister version off amazon tonight for the 20% discount with prime membership. But I'm on the fence about buying premium. I'm sure I'll get my money out of it, but are we really going to get any significant benefit out of it prior to the first DLC's release? I was thinking about holding off on buying premium until the first DLC.

In a move of douchebaggery that should surprise no one,  you must have the Infinite Warfare disc for MWR to work. That's how desperate they are to make you keep their pile of shit in hopes that you'll play it and spend money on supply drops. Fuck you Activision.

FINALLY made Platinum on Overwatch comp. Went on a 6 win 1 draw streak after the opening match was a loss. Once the team scores start averaging 2500 Its so much better. They honestly need to scrap the algorithm that ranks you lower on purpose after placement matches. 2300 and below is horrific with idiotic picks. Once I got past my season high and hit the mid 2400's the team comp and matches were insanely different and way more competitive. Elo Hell is a real thing for solo q, I don't care what Force Gaming says or anyone else. You can't make much of a difference when someone is picking a bad pick on attack. Damn I'm thrilled right now.

I've worn the same par of Vans for almost 15 years. No other pair of shoes I've ever owned have lasted this long. The inserts are pretty much flattened to where I can feel every pebble of gravel under my foot, but the exterior is still perfectly intact minus the usual dirtiness acquired over such a time. I ordered a new pair of Vans and I'll probably get some new inserts for my current ones.

Started playing Journey today. Have no idea whats really going on (I understand for the most part but without any talking or narrations it's all pretty much how you take what you're shown in the cutscenes) but the art style is nice, the puzzle mechanics are pretty interesting, the ability to meet random people playing it is cool (even if you can't speak to each other), and the soundtrack is freaking amazing (probably the best part of the game so far for me). It's a rather relaxing game, can't wait to find time to sit down and actually finish it (I think I'm a third of the way through the game).

All I wanted to do was watch some god damn Netflix tonight but no someone is either DDoSing them again or they just suck at announcing maintenance times. /grumble

I hope the next character Overwatch release is a defense or tank. I keep getting the teams where someone thinks they're a Ana pro. So many losses because of it. It's always my team too. We've resorted to a friend picking Ana, and then when we load in he swaps and I spam emotes and voice lines to cover up the swap.

Day 2 of being back to work and I'm dead/exhausted. Good god these 10 hour days are rough, so not used to it (not to mention my feet are killing me, my shoulder hurts like hell, and my hands are stiff and ache all over (this assembly shit is not easy on your body)). If you don't hear from me for awhile I'm probably dead from exhaustion (and I have mandatory overtime this week too so no three day weekend , just got to think of all that lovely money).
