Strider Hiryu

. I've never watched the redo's and remakes and edits, and whatnot. I sold my complete series and movie years ago. It was one of those things where everyone talked about it, so I wanted to watch it since Adult Swim would never carry it back in their anime glory years.

I bought it as a HK dvd set for $20 about 9 years ago if I remember correctly. I watched it.. thought it fell apart at the end and never bothered rewatching it.. the new stuff has me interested, but I don't know if its a remake or an addon or a alternative ending. I know theres a new girl character.. but I don't know if its worth watching or not. Considering you saw you still don't understand whats going on, I'm guessing not.

from what I understand, originally funding ran out somewhere around the last 2-3 episodes, and the shit fest was thrown together which explains the 5-6 minute standstill scene with Eva-01 holding Kaworu until it goes dark when hes crushed, and then the pencil and paper animation of the final ep.
