  1. So I'm going to go find a hole and hide in it for the next 4 years, anyone want to join me? I have snacks and video games. (This is all I will say on what happened yesterday).

I'm just glad I can buy a gun and ammo without the hassle of out of stocks and sky rocketing prices due to fear-mongering demand. XD

I have a feeling the next four years will be just like the last 8. A big chunk of people saying "Not my president" and a bunch of idiots in washington not getting anything done. Sure the republican party has control of everything, but Trump is a wildcard that likes to change his opinion on things overnight. He also needs an enemy. If he doesn't have an enemy to attack nobody pays attention to him. -_- I bet within 6 months he'll have half of congress as enemies and he'll make sure they don't get the things they want. In the past he has flipped from republican to independent and then to democrat. He might have been a democrat longer than republican but I don't have the motivation to check. He could surprise everyone and go right back to his democrat views before January 1st. Its not like he needs his republican allies or political backers anymore now that he accomplished his goal.

On a lighter note, if he wants to unify the nation he can give one speech that will unify everyone:

Trump (2 days after taking office):

"Aliens are real, they are under our mountains. I saw the files. The x-files are real. These aliens are not friendly... They are terrible aliens. Join with me and lets take back our mountains! Make America Great Again! And yes we did go to the moon."

I think he'll get 3 major things done. Healthcare, Guns, and Trade. I've read he's always been most loyal to those that supported him the strongest. The NRA threw their full weight behind him, and he'll get some things done for gun rights.

He's been saying the same thing about trade for 30 years. Go look up his Oprah show appearance from the 80s. He uses the same regurgitated lines that he's been using the past year and a half. This is his personal vendetta.

Healthcare is fucked. People are pissed. The revelation that everyone's insurance skyrocketed days before the election, sealed Clinton's fate IMO. Dems are going to have to cave on it or they won't get back both chambers of Congress in 2 years. It did more than make insurance expensive, it fucked people out of their full-time jobs. I've watched people I know including myself get hurt in the work place because of these policies. Will he fix it? That's yet to be seen, but change is coming.

Planned parenthood, transexual bathrooms, abortions, and all that stuff won't get touched either way by Trump, and it's gonna leave a lot of Ultra rightys butt hurt. It's gonna be a "leave it to the states" argument.

He wasn't my guy, but I'll respect the fact he left his comfortable billionaire lifestyle to get savaged by the population and serve the country. He'll probably only be a one term candidate, and honestly, that's probably all he'll want to do.
