  1. Man, I so wish I had cable back at my apartment now cause I so want to see this
  2. About the same as usual since I still don't have a job. Friday and Saturday I basically just sat on the couch and watched anime/read manga as well as played a bit of PS2. Sunday I did the crap ton of English homework that I had to do and then spent the day reading manga and talking with one of my roommates (also went to Wendy's for lunch). In retrospect I should of been working on my character designs that are due on Wednesday for my Intro to Drawing and Design class. Damn my procrastinating ways
  3. GTA is a big one for me. I enjoyed the first one, I'll admit that, but I just don't see whats so great about the series. Stealing cars, killing random people, etc just doesn't appeal to me (plus they seriously lack any semblance of a story, which is a major selling point for me when I buy games (if it doesn't have a good story/plot I won't bother with it)). I won't even get started on looking at it from a designer's standpoint.
  4. Most likely no. I highly doubt Sega would stand a chance in today's console market since the bar has been raised pretty damn high for anyone willing to come in now. The 360 and PS3 would be hard to contend with graphics and hardware wise, they're beasts and considering how well the Dreamcast did I doubt they'd be able to make something up to those specs. Though the Wii is doing well we have to look at it from a different aspect then power and hardware. Considering the Wii is just a Gamecube slimmed down (graphics wise, I do realize there is different hardware on the system, I just consider it a slimmed down GC) it doesn't hold well in that market. Wii's success has to do with it's family appeal and innovative controller (as much as I hate the Wii-mote I admit it's pretty damn innovative). This is the main reason it's outsold both the 360 and PS3. Should Sega one day decide to come back onto the console market it's either going to have to build a powerhouse machine to contend with the PS3 and 360 or it's going to have to go the same way as Nintendo did and make a console that's more family oriented. I don't really see Sega being able to pull this off from both a designer mindset nor do I see it from a consumer mindset. They'd have to make some pretty big changes to come back into the console market and I just don't really see it being possible for Sega.
  5. Ha, I laughed as I watched School Days. I guess I'm emotionally numb now after watching so many dramatic shows like it. On topic: NANA is an awesome anime (plus the music to it is beyond great, <3 Olivia and Anna). Sadly I've had to stop watching at episode 21 due to various things (Epples telling me to read a ton of manga and what not). Such a great show but the manga is like 10x better (and I'm actually almost up to current, just need to read the newest chapter). Also check out Gokinjo Monogatari/Neighborhood Stories if you check out ParaKiss, it's the prequel to ParaKiss and is full of awesomeness.
  6. Any game site will have reviews for PC games, I tend to prefer Gamespot though when it comes to game reviews. Frick man go pick up Starcraft. Thats the only PC game you'll ever need. I'd say pick up WoW but it's too much of a time sink to get into. Outside of WoW I really can't recommend any PC games since I tend to stay out of PC Gaming as much as I can (outside of those RTS games that I absolutely have to play) though if you're looking for a good RTS thats come out recently go pick up World in Conflict. Freaking game looks awesome and it's gotten great reviews (I wish I could play it but sadly my laptop would have a hard time running it).
  7. I'm still debating whether or not this was a good move for the companies (much like how Bioware was bought out by EA). We'll just have to wait and see though if this continues my future job prospects are looking slimmer.
  8. *pulls spork out and watches blood flow out* Owwie but I did deserve that. I retract my statement of not knowing the song now after listening to it. I've heard it before just never knew the song name or artist (considering this was '85 I'm not to knowledgeable about songs from that age with being born in them and what not). Tis a good song.
  9. "Take on me" by a-ha (never heard of the song or people who sing it)
  10. X'D, I don't know how to comment on that GG
  11. When aren't they? As they said GG you aren't missing anything unless you're a masochist and love seeing people at their worst. Never went out during Black Friday. Much like DX I'd probably be arrested for assault or worse. Never thought the sales were that good.
  12. Pfft, I didn't get turkey. I had to settle for fast food today *cries* Hope everyone is having a great day
  13. Use neither it or MySpace. Waste of time in my opinion.
  14. Eh, my rogue was my second character (first was a Paladin that I ended up deleting) and my main for two years. Once she hit 70 I noticed Rogue's f'in suck in TBC (can't change my mind on that either. After doing TK instances on her I noticed Rogues are really only good for PvP now). I hate raiding. I can't justify sitting in front of my computer for 4-5 hours a night for a string of code that does nothing for me in the real world. I play mostly for fun and to hang out with friends online. Mostly just level alts or log on for the occasional bit of PvP. Eh, Fury has no place in PvP anymore because Sweeping Strikes is an extremely situational move (only reason I specced Fury was for Death Wish and Flurry. With Death Wish out of the picture I might as well spec Prot because I hate the Arms tree with a passion). I don't see why everyone bitches about Flurry being linked to Enrage then again I just play my Warrior for fun (My warlock is my main).
  15. It's mostly a question of what character you want linked. I'm mostly pissed at the warrior changes because Fury is no longer fun to play with Death Wish being moved to the Arms tree. Anyways characters below: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Aggramar&n=Asahi (Warlock, 70) http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Aggramar&n=Ayari (Rogue, 70 (retired)) http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Malygos&n=Blindsinner (Warrior, 55)
  16. Eh, I wasn't overly impressed with the trailers I've seen but I might end up going to see it. I love the original epic so I'm a little weary of seeing yet another take on it but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.
  17. Though very valid points I'm still not seeing it, can't justify seeing it with the price of movie tickets. I'll wait till it hits DVD and rent it so I can see and laugh at it.
  18. I don't know whether to be disgusted that they're actually going through with the movie or who they picked for Goku and Piccolo. Yea, I'll just go vomit now for both reasons.
  19. For the most part (though I'm still not fully unpacked, I don't dare unpack my manga and anime. My roommate and I wouldn't have any room in our room if I did that). Still trying to get used to the whole "It's warm all year" bit. I'm used to my frigid North Dakota weather at this time of year. Other then that it's no different then home (except for the whole living with three other guys and paying rent every month (and there's a severe lack of alcohol around here)). Now if only I could find the time to get caught up on anime and manga.
  20. I count my currently dling torrents at 19 and I still have more to start. I'm never moving in the middle of anime season again. Hehe, not yet. *braces for incoming smack* I meant to, really I did but one of my roommates has Halo 3 and I've been playing a lot of that (as well as trying to keep my distance from another). Reading manga really hasn't been high on the list yet but you can be sure I will have it read soon (after I play catch up with all my anime and other manga).

    *sneaks in*

Booo. Just a quick heads up, I'm back. Hope no one missed me. Finally got internet hooked up down here. Seems I have a lot of stuff to get caught back up on. I'll post pics and stuff later (after I get some taken, I only have pictures of the trip down. Haven't really taken pictures of anything since I hit Tempe, been busy between moving in, starting classes, and trying to get internet hooked up (as well as trying not to get lost in Tempe, freaking town is confusing)). Anyways I am back, you have been warned. Now to go catch up on everything I have missed.
  22. ......and moving to Arizona tomorrow (you know because I couldn't pick a damn college close enough to me to get my degree). Heh, don't know if I'm really ready for it or not but here goes nothing. That being said I have to take a short leave of absence from AC and my second family (pains me so much, you don't know). I should only be gone for, hopefully, two weeks considering next week I'll be busier then hell and the next week I start classes (and Eppy no ruining any of the new anime eps for me, I'll be two-three weeks behind. /cry). If it should happen to be longer don't send out the search parties, probably don't have internet hooked up yet (which if I don't I'm probably going nuts by then anyways). Anyways I'll, hopefully, see ya guys in two weeks (and note I'll miss ya all. Also, I will take plenty of pictures for ya GG (just don't expect my identity to be revealed) and post them when I get back (because you know my dad gave me his digital camera)). Wish me luck because I'm going to need it.
  23. Thanks again guys. Had a little date with the Captain (Morgan for those who don't know) tonight and he got me just a tad bit drunk (damn that Captain).
  24. I'll be in Tempe (yay for moving basically into Phoenix myself). We'll practically be neighbors
