  1. Carol was totally fuckin awesome. From taking care of Tyreese and Judith to raising hell in Terminus. She fuckin wasted that joint. Whooooooooooooooooo go Carol!!! When that woman steps up shit gets done!

When Daryl saw her and ran to her for hugs... oh man everybody gotta ship that now! Even her and Rick were cool "You do that?" so cute. Rick and Carl reunited with Judith, Sasha and Tyreese, all good yo.

Looking forward to Morgan joining them.

Tyresse is gonna tell Rick he knows hes cool and Rick should stfu and appreciate that woman! Glen will convince him Tara and Abraham's group is cool.

TTD: Conan was great but they shoulda had one of those women that ship Daryl Carol cuz she woulda been losing her mind lol

  2. there were some really awesome moments

Lagertha and the queen laughing it up over her killing the earl, then Lagertha showing up and taking her out.

Loved it when Siggy hands Ragnar the knife Horik gave her to kill the children. Mwahahaha

I think that Ragnar didn't want to say forever and ever Amen because he thought it might be blasphemy to his gods

  3. In the season 2 tease we see Athelstan missing his right hand and Egbert using it to feed a deer. I think the king's door is swinging both ways and he more then just likes his scribing priest. He couldn't keep up with princess fuck you into a coma and sent in warriors as apposed to his priest. I found it amusing she grabbed that viking guys junk and they were both all ;) lol I thought Rollo's plumbing got trampled on too, I don't have a dick but I was squirming for him shit man.As for Floki.... if he is like Loki then he's just playing Horick and that fucker will be dead soon

  4. I'll have to go back and watch the eps again but I think the guy that killed Sigvard went to war with Lagertha. If so he's seen her prove herself worthy of Valhalla while her shitty husband just sits around pissing and moaning. It is in his best interest spiritually to follow a warrior if he wants reward in the afterlife. Sending in three dudes to beat the crap out of your sleeping wife is some pretty bad form, the tension of the feast goers at the sight of Lagertha all fucked up is palpable. He got what he fuckin deserved as far as I'm concerned.

Invading a former allies turf and then expecting him to blow it off is more bad form. I was kind of hoping Rollo was going to kill Horik, pretty obvious Siggy hates him. Maybe she'll get fed up and start stabbing eyes herself :P  Hopefully Jarl Borg will get his come upins as long as asshole Horik doesn't get in the fuckin way. Ragnar wont need him if there are ships and shipwrights in Lagertha's territories (we know she has the man power).

I called the atheist thing last week ROTFLMFAO!!!!

  5. If  were  going to display the dead they would be nailed to a wall or hanging from the roof intact so you could see it wasn't a walker but an asshole I killed. I looked at the skeleton pile from a forensic point of view (I have watched waaaaaayyy to much Bones lol) and de-fleshing is indicative of cannibalism. I've also read post apocalypse books/played games/movies etc so cannibalism isn't a new or foreign concept to me, I expected it to come up sometime (same goes for religious zealotry of some sort). There was no livestock holding area in the vicinity, its possible they have a farm elsewhere, but the way Glen's group just walked right the fuck in, seeing no guards and nobody but grilling Mary.... red flags everywhere. Rick was spot on entering Terminus another way not that it did them any good in the end.

  6. Of fuckin course I did lol. Going off the quick glimpse we get I would guess that the bodies were de fleshed shortly after death (hopefully after death *shudder*) none of that boil with bone in because of the amount of coagulated blood still on the bones. Rick's cop training kicked in when he started seeing his peoples belongings and the watch sealed the deal. Shit even Daryl recognized his own fucking poncho yo.

The fight between Joe's gang and team prison was pretty intense. And I'm saying it, Rick went mama bear on their asses. Biting is the last resort in a bitch fight and Rick embraced that shit lol. Mutilating the scuz that was going to rape his kid, yup cut the fucker into pieces. I figured Daryl would skip out on Joe's gang and he was about to. A little frustrating he didn't explain Beth but he'll get to it now that Maggie is there too. Totally satisfied with the story of how Michonne became a monster and was gone for a long time. She was punishing the dudes even after death for being too incompetent to protect the baby.

The cliffhanger we don't see is Where are Carol Tyreese and Judith???? Did Rick get ahead of them when they were lingering at the grove? We have to hope so because Terminus is fucked up and they weren't in the rail car with the others. Beth's safety is still up in the air but if she's with decent people maybe they can help. Still we don't know who cut off the heads of murderer liar and rapist. Probably not Joe's gang as they're all cool with rapeing and killing. Unlikely the Terminus culties if they're eating people that would be a waste of 'food'. The persons who grabbed Beth perhaps? Is there still a crazed judgmental decapitator running around?

fuck its gonna be a long wait >.<

  7. Oh for fucks sake the grill just screams long pork. That there were no guards on the buildings, that both motherfucking gates were open I would have assumed walkers inside. Creepy lady though, that's even scarier. The leavings of others are all over as they made a point to show, but shes the only one there to greet? Fuck lower your weapon yo. I'd be busting out the three questions on her ass.

Glen showed the signs of exhaustion and stress all episode. He broke into a run, refused to rest someplace they could secure, made Tara keep waking all fucked up and then goes into the tunnel o' zombie because the blood paint isn't totally dry yet and Maggie is just ahead. Then when they're screwed he chooses to fight instead of abandoning her. He really needs eight hours. I was glad to see him find Maggie, I think it gives Sasha hope her brother is still alive.

P chan, think of The Dark Tower series and how much time Stephen King devotes in those books to educating the reader about Roland, his past, his dreams, his thoughts on things. The tower is just the destination, the story is about Roland and his tet and their journey and how they change as they experience the journey. Post zombie apocalypse Georgia is just a setting like Mejis or the Calla in a world moving on. TWD story is about what happens to these people, internally(Michonne crying when she holds Judith) and externally(Michonne decapitating zombies) as they journey for survival. A lot of shit has gone down at the prison, its compromised and given up, the gov attacked twice, the flu/those who turned killed a lot of people, Carol murdering, Rick farming etc. We need episodes showing us what is going on with the characters internally so that we can empathize and understand their actions. Its the way it is for the medium that it is presented.

  8. When coming to understand that one religious delusion, in this case blood sacrifice, is interchangeable with another, cognitive dissonance falls apart. He shows an almost contempt for the bread, crumbles it and throws it down. Its insignificant compared to what he has seen. When he tries to get back in with jebuz a devil attacks, but when he really goes looking for the thing it is not there; another delusion confronted.  I vote Athelstan will be the first to go full blown atheist. I'm also wondering what he is eating/drinking. Contaminated food made people trip their balls off and alcohol was safer to drink then the water.

Aslaug named the baby after her father and his, Ragnar has a "snake in his eye",  Lagertha. He still isn't over his first wife and Aslaug is letting Lagertha know that she knows.

  9. Emotionally devastating episode, brilliantly done. They build up the feeling of comfort and family unity (we could stay here/ Tyreese telling Carol he trusts her etc) and then the bottom drops out and the fall is hard.

It became painfully obvious as the episode moves along that Lizzie can't escape her psychotic delusions, she probably has had some kind of therapy before, look at the flowers/count/breath are taught coping skills. There were flowers in their cell at the prison.Maybe her parents, maybe a professional. Looking back on her not stabbing her dad it was because she wanted him to come back. I thought Lizzie might throw Mika to the walkers, let her get bit kinda thing. I couldn't help but see people saying she was going to kill Mika, but I didn't expect she would straight up gut her sister. For the mentally ill it is a small step to go from killing animals to killing people. That was a tough scene to watch.

When Carol said Lizzie would have let Karen and David turn, then I knew it was Carol. Her distress in those eps was her guilt at what she had done, Tyreese wants her to live with that. They will share the pain of Karen's loss together.  Carol did what she thought was right for all of them at the prison, did what she had to do with Lizzie. Tyreese understands that. He knows she loved the girls. She thought about taking Lizzy away but they both knew that would just screw them all. They knew what they had to do.Carol stepped up again.  He could forgive her because Carol didn't act out of malice, it was necessity, maybe even mercy. Carol says Do what ya gotta do twice, she was ready to die if he so chose. Karen didn't suffer or know what was happening, it was quick and that was enough for Tyreese because he knew how sick she was. Lizzie didn't suspect or feel anything either. He knows he needs Carol and he does trust her and like her. She helps fill the big sister void he has with Sasha gone. I think this whole experience has bonded the two in a special way.

  10. Pretty sure same group of assholes that were hanging around to rape Michonne. Daryl had no choice but to go with, maybe he thinks they can lead him to Beth. He wont stay with them long, he's not the guy he was pre apocalypse, he just burned down his past an episode ago. Again, are they the head chopper offers or the headless? Jim's offer to Daryl of hurt others is indicative that Jim/his group has human enemies and/or preys upon other survivors. I'll guess its both. These guys are like the hunters in TLOU.

Dear Beth, stop making noise you stupid asshole. Piano night at the funeral home really? The car that sped off may have been the person who was using that place or someone that offed the person using that place and they were coming along to loot it up. Daryl will assume responsibility for finding Beth anyway.

looks like some shit is gonna go down in Carols group next week.....

  11. I don't think Carol killed Karen and David I think Lizzy did. It happens right after she couldn't stab her fathers corpse so she took her frustration out on helpless people. What Carol did was cover for her. She took the blame, accepted being booted and wanted to go back for the girls but Rick said no. She stuck close by anyway because she knows Lizzy aint right. Go back and watch Carol in those episodes and you'll see it. She is really struggling with something (spilling the water) snaps at Lizzy when she calls her mom. When Rick tells Daryl he is pissed and says "That aint her" in regard to the killings. Daryl does not believe she did it and Tyreese finding the cut up animal confirms it for him.

I think Rick will see Carol with Judith and not say anything to Tyreese and then Carol will have to tell Rick the truth about Lizzy. Shes going to have to confide in him or Daryl because she can't do this solo, the kid needs to be dealt with one way or another. I'm thinking Carol will shoot her ala Of Mice and Men. She couldn't do it for Sophia, Rick had to do it. I think this time she'll step up. She probably feels some responsibility for teaching the kids how to use knives. She did it to protect them before she knew there was a psycho amongst them.

  12. Beth annoyed me. I understand be on a mission, but a mission for booze instead of trying to find the others like she wanted to so frickin bad last time we saw her? Knowing what booze did to Hershel? The only bottle she shoulda been looking for is in Judith's bag.  Everything just went to shit and her coping mechanism is a drinking game with hardcore booze for a first time drinker that didn't make her spew.... right. The episode is much slower then if it had been Daryl and Michonne or Carol or pretty much anyone but Beth.

wtf happened here anyway, they were right motherfucking behind Carol and Tyreese. They coulda should gottta catch up to them. I'm interested to see how it will play out when Rick/Daryl see Carol w Tyreese. Will Carol give Lizzy up as the stabber cuz she HAD to have seen her smothering Judith. She's going to have to deal with that kid.

  13. If it is not the 80's I do not trust the mullet. People who live in the past care little for the present and even less for the future.

Hey Abraham, stop taking orders from a dick. Follow Glen. I'm guessing he's long time military because he appears to seek out the top of the known hierarchy to get his orders from. He didn't want to lose the civi's either. Protect and preserve human life. Looking forward to getting to know these newbs :P

Rick...running around upstairs...giving me twelve heart attacks. Him and that dude eye fuckin each other as the guy was getting choked out. That was some good suspenseful shit. So glad he got to Michonne and Carl and they gtfo. Are these guys the group thats going around beheading people or are these guys the group the head hunters are after? I'm not asking! I wanna know when they tell me but its so much fun to ponder. Mwahahaha

Carl is so crushed over Judith. Michonne loved her too. Talking with Carl about her child was grief therapy for both of them and it brought them closer together. I don't think she is his mom's replacement, more like the cool aunt, but they are really becoming family. I can't wait for them to see Judith alive. I'll cry and it will be so worth it :P

    Glen will find Maggie.

  14. I do want to read it!!!!!  but I've been forcing myself to stay away until the show is a little further along so I can read the stuff slowly so it doesn't catch up to the show. I want to be able to enjoy both tellings of the story without my "the book was better!" getting in the way lol.

When visual media is done right you can extrapolate volumes of information in one conversation. Body language, tone, setting etc. Art by its very nature is open to interpretation. I like that they have deliberately done things different between tv show and graphic novel. When a Stephen King book gets movied up he usually screws w the ending somehow so it is different then the written piece. When you switch mediums with a story the delivery of some things has to change. You can't read a chapter of back story, you have to do a flashback or have the characters talk about it to deliver that information to the audience. Story format and script format are miles apart. The point is telling a good story worthy of being shared and retold indefinitely.

BSG pulled off the whole post apocalypse story brilliantly in mutherfuckin space. They changed some things from the original, the big one was making Starbuck a woman. It worked amazing. There was great balance in the show; Bill commanded the military, Laura the citizens. Guias is pushed to greatness by  Caprica 6.Lee outranks Kara but she runs those pilots and he leaves to go into politics.Character growth and relationships on the show was unlike anything I'd ever seen on tv. Series ended well, we got closure and cried a lot. As the show went on a bigger budget gave us awesome battle scenes. Bear McCreary did all the music for BSG and is also doing TWD, SHIELD etc.

  15. There are very few television series that I would call art. Ron Moore's Battlestar Galactica and The Walking Dead are art. With this medium the writing, directing, acting all have to be the tip of the top. I look at each episode, season then series over all. It has to be a thought provoking and emotionally impacting story, the delivery has to be amazing. Not an easy thing to do on the small screen.

I think its awesome they open w Michonne. You see her transition in the ep from someone willing to blend in w the dead to someone who wants to live w people. Her flashback dream sequence was wicked, her first pets, her child, the beginning of the reasons she traveled alone for so long.Flashbacks and conversations are the only way we're going to get back story. She was so different before the zombie plague.  We now know she cried holding Judith because she is mourning her own child. Seeing her walker double made her realize that even if being with the living can be painful its better then being dead emotionally. After slaughtering the herd she goes right back to Rick's tracks and follows them to Carl who she has bonded with. She is so frigin happy to see the kid alive (and I bet she has his shoe)

I imagine Rick saw Michonne w the shoe through the peek hole. When he turns and flops on the couch with that genuine happy amused smile!!! OMG haven't seen that since he found Laurie and Carl...

When Carl yells at his unconscious father... its all shit I woulda said to Rick myself. He had become useless and was dragging others down with him. If he had killed the gov at the start Hershel Andrea Milton Judith (?) could still be alive. He was weak when it came to dealing with external threats. He was a fucking asshole when it came to issues inside the prison. He was a douchenado to Michonne when they first met, she has saved him and his kid repeatedly. She's the only one that went looking for the gov after the shit went down at the prison. And then there is Carol. He was intimidated by her ability to adapt, teach, lead the group and do the hard things alone if necessary (from getting water to burning infected bodies). She found her bravery and Rick lost his so he took his crap out on her. Sending her away was a rape/death sentence, an utterly malicious move he tried to write off as protecting her from Tyreese. The ultimate bullshit was inviting the gov in after kicking Carol out. Rick is broken and has been since he killed Shane.

  16. I grew up in the country 3 miles from the lake. No video games no internet. I never even owned a computer until my kids were 3 and 5. I didn't get a cell until after I broke down w the car one night on the gorge road (scary). In my teens I worked on a farm where the most tech savvy thing I did was drive tractor. After that I worked retail at the time everything was transitioning to bar code scanners. I stuck with retail until it got to the point where I needed to be home w my kids full time, I was working to pay a baby sitter. It wasn't until my youngest started school that I actually had time to do something on the computer. I met Sledgers that year :P.

Early on I realized the best part of the net was the free education I get from the fucking thing. Before internet I read a lot of books. With internet I spend most of my reading time studying the topics of internist to me. Facebook is convenient for communicating sometimes, but I use my wall like the corporate tool it is and share things like animals that need rescue, politics, new science etc. Personal stuff stays in private messages. I have no interest in broadcasting what I cooked for dinner or what I think of what so and so did. Not into the gossipy celeb bullshittery. I've made friends with other activists via fb and its hella convenient for sharing articles. My news feed is mostly news. I use it to get all the crap I wanna look at in one place.

Video games... well I OCD that shit. I find a game I like and I will master that motherfucker. I can multi task while playing. Boss fight in the middle of cooking dinner no problemo. My hands have some playstation ninja muscle memory thing going on.

I read on my phone a lot cuz I'm outside with chu. Endless streaming education, love it. I have read a novel on my phone; Stephen King's Cell of course. Texting is usually how I talk to my kids. I send my mom and his cute chu pics.

As far as kids go, they're not just expensive they're time consuming. Evey time I go to a fucking Walmart I encounter parents not parenting and their out of control kid results climbing in the frozen food. Fuck that shit dude I get right away from that. If you're going to have kids you have to do the time or you'll create assholes the rest of us have to deal with. You have to pour your time into a kid. Toilet training a kid can take months. A cat will learn to shit in the box within two weeks.... I'm very pro furbaby. Marriage is involving the state in your personal life, a license is cheap compared to the cost of a divorce which pretty much benefits lawyers only. The benefits of marriage should out weigh the the consequence of being legally bound to the other person or don't bother. Been married and divorced and with the old man for thirteen years not getting married no need.

  17. rule # 1 TURN ON THE FUCKING LIGHTS WHEN YOU WALK INTO A ROOM!!!!  Every year thousands of terrible characters die because they didn't see the boogie man coming...... Seriously, when you walk into a room the frigin light switch is usually right next to the door.

rule #2 EVERYTHING IS A WEAPON! Pots and pans can smash skulls, shovels can decapitate, bleach in the eyes will blind etc. Pick up the fucking chair and beat a motherfucker with it.

rule #3 BAIT Someone in the group you don't like? Otis his ass. Hobble him and leave him for the killer while you make your escape. Repeat as necessary until all the assholes are gone

rule #4 EYES IN THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD Try to find at least 1 competent person to have your back and cooperate for mutual survival

All of those stupid Would you survive a horror movie? quiz things... I live to the end :P

  18. I had this in my Netflix cue forever, a week or so ago  I put it on "in the background" when I was doing crap online and ...it sucked me in, quick.

Snow White thieving, fighting and stabbing mo fos? I'm all in. The show is an awesome twist on all old fairytales. Very creative, it gives such depth to characters we thought we knew all our lives. I'm loving the Rumpelstiltskin and Regina stuff  :P The Grumpy back story ep was a fav.

We're in season 2, probably gonna have to check out Once upon a time in Wonderland after we get caught up with this.
