With only 25% of the revenue, I'm sure mod developers were going to focus full time jobs around this.

And now its over. Though it should have never happened to begin with. Not because mods were always free. But because the same kind of fear that gamers had was a similar kind of fear Gabe had over Windows 8.

I saw Chappie today & liked it. Some parts of it felt like they were copied from Short Circuit 2. Another part used that famous line from Forest Gump.... Sorry if that sounds like a spoiler.


Much like District 9 this also takes place in Johannesburg & looks like it could have a sequel but probably won't.

I think it had more to do with the fact I got frustrated with the tutorial. That and when I went to save while I was in the tutorial I either over looked it or it wasn't there. It was also a bit complicated to read the instructions as I still use a CRT TV.

I'll probably try the tutorial again as its just not something I'm use to. On the bright side I didn't give up on it as fast as I did Dark Souls.

That guy looks like a cross between Robin Hood & Disney's Ichabod Crane....

Also this movie doesn't deserve a sequel but needs one based on What happens with Starlord.

I still prefer Mister Pilkington....

Halo 2 is my favorite out of all the Halo games because The Arbiter actually had a personality to go along with his story. The Arbiter goes through this punishment that he accepts before becoming The Arbiter. During the course of his story finds out his beliefs are false. And goes on his way to correct himself. The only way that story could've been better is if The Heretic Leader replaced MC during Gravemind's talk. And that last boss fight gameplay wise was I think better than the end in CE or 3.

CE for me was boring because it was solely MC & MC had 0 character development. It was just a bunch of story elements. And it all ends with MC running away from an explosion via warthog driving.

3 disappointed me in that I couldn't be The Arbiter in single player since I felt I could relate to The Arbiter. The story once again concludes with MC running away via Warthog. I couldn't even enjoy shooting things while NPC Arbiter drives. Nope. I had to do the same lame escape I did in CE.

I haven't played ODST....

I like Reach but I didn't see much point in the after credits fight. So I just killed myself with grenades.

I think Rooster Teeth has ultimately done a better job at Story Telling than Bungie when it comes to Halo. Even though the Elites have been reduced down vocally to Blarg & Honk.

I thought it was the robotic version of Forest Gump.
I also doubt it'll top this.

I was in a long line at what I think was a KFC. Prior to my order the guy in front of me vanished. Thinking it would be rude to take his place in line I decided to wait for his return. He returned but refused to get back in line as he already got his food after being teleported else where.
 
So whether I wanted to or not it was finally my turn for my order. I ordered an extra large tea hoping that it was Brisk. Because in my mind if they served Snapple then maybe they'd teleport me to the center of the Earth. That didn't happen. Instead I was informed that my tea had escaped into the bushes. And I needed this plastic fork to hunt it down.
 
I took the plastic fork, ran out the side door, while screaming with fork in hand. I ran by the line I was in that extended to outside where I think the last guy in line called the cops. Unfortunately I got the order for my order wrong as I ended up attacking dirt near the bushes.
 
I woke up after that & had a glass of water from a container I have in my fridge.

Based on the fact that Bungie's previous game series Halo had
You being called Demon The Prophet Of Truth also being a title held by Jesus Christ The Ring World's being referred to as Halos "The Great Journey" being their salvation (although it wasn't) Jackals which were technically Crocoducks I'd take this theory on Destiny with a grain of salt.

The Forces Of Light may be evil, but I never liked that band.

I remember playing a copy of Hero's Quest that was before it was renamed Quest For Glory. I never got far into the game because I didn't know what to do.
 
I usually went with Thief hoping I'd learn the other 2 classes along the way. At best I'd steal from houses, learn a little magic, & see which cat puns I'd be able to get away with, with the innkeeper's wife.
 
Then later I'd get myself killed by going into the cave or purposely getting stabbed in the back. That & I think I remember sleeping outside or falling asleep outside was a way to get robbed.
 
I was hoping when the Sierra logo was news a month or so ago there'd be news for a new Quest For Glory. Someone outside of Bethesda, & various MMOs ought to know the importance of Actual Beast Races.
 
Damn Kemonomimi / Sexy Cosplay /  Generic Almost Human Races.... My buzz kill to almost every other Fantasy Game....

Sorry I have never played Gabriel Knight before. But it does look like an interesting Horror Game.

I'd be excited if I didn't prefer Resident Evil 2 over the original. I don't hate the first or anything. But I preferred the story with Claire Redfield in Raccoon City over STARS trapped in basically a haunted mansion.
 
In fact Resident Evil 2 is probably my most favorite zombie game. And it wasn't just because a city was facing a zombie apocalypse. But like other pre RE4 games it gave a sense of claustrophobia with the added fear of not knowing what was in front of you.
 
And to top that all off (minus giant robot) Claire Redfield's & Sherry Birkin's story kind of reminds of the movie Alien. Although those 2 basically still had their own stories with Claire Redfield looking for her brother & Sherry Birkin losing her parents.

Aside from Dane Vogel the following I hope show up are. Mr. Sunshine - Preferably referencing Montezuma from Robot Chicken. But that most likely won't happen. Revenge!.... Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Dex - He died between Saints Row 2 & Saints Row: The Third in a game that was scrapped. Assuming he's dead despite that game being scrapped I want to see him in it. Philip Loren - His death was too fast. I would've preferred something more memorable. Shogo Akuji - Just so Gat could beat the crap out of him again. Jyunichi - Almost the same reason as Shogo. Matt from The Feed Dogs - He was too easily killed by a brick. Josh Birk - He should be there just for being a bad actor. Oleg Kirrlov - Despite being one of my favorite Third Street Saints he did have a shady past that wasn't delved into. Tobias - Assuming he died from the earth being destroyed. Also Brandon Keener is same voice actor who did Garrus from Mass Effect. Laura - Tobias's Wife. Jessica - Okay I don't need any closure since the trunk was already closed.... The General - I found his death underwhelming. Maero - Well he doesn't need to show up. Michael Dorn is still awesome though. Kazuo Akuji - Actually I hope he isn't dead. His last words in Saints Row 2 were "When I escape The World will not be big enough for you to hide in!" I don't have any listed from the first Saints Row because I've been too lazy to finish it....

I finally watched this movie and it wasn't that good. I agree with Myk JL, this movie had no actual plot. I thought Live free or Die Hard was a better movie.. After watching "A Good Day to Die Hard", I doubt there will be another Die Hard movie. This felt like a 'pass the torch to the new actor' movie, like "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."
 
And the trailers completely spoil the entire movie. Even the trailer's image in the youtube video in the first post of this topic gives away the entire ending.
