  1. I think Andrea is in a hard place, the world is a living hell, and woodbury seems like a safe heaven. Looking at the next best thing being huddled by a fire in a rickety prison, she would want to bring Rick and the crew to live at woodbury, I dont get how woodbury is safe, Walkers are attracted to noise and smell. There plenty loud at woodbury, fortified walls wont hold against a herd
  2. I think the new guy has done a great job considering Andy played Spartacus so well I didnt like the official season 2 much, it lacked the politics and back stabbing of the other seasons The pre-qual season Gods of the Arena in my opinion was awesome they really got the continuity right from how Crixus became champion, why asher was a total dick, how Onemaious became doctore.
  3. I tried to find the scene where he 300/Spartan kicks a guy off a cliff but couldnt find the clip The language they use is epic, it is so fowl. but almost elegant. ''by Jupiters cock''
  4. I dont see this taking off at all
  5. I just updated SC2 And for some reason there is unit lag thats so annoying, I select a unit and theres like a second delay, which doesnt sound like much but very annoying anyone else get this with the latest patch
  6. I hope they do renew it, the toy potential is huge, however the direction it is now is very adult / mature viewer orientated, there is no blood, but thats because light sabres and blasters cauterize wounds ;p Disney screwed spiderman but cancelling Spectacular spider man and rebooting it to kids hell on tv ultimate spiderman. If they keep SW:TCW i worry they will tone it down to crap. I would recomend watching the show start to end, it is called The Clone wars, many episodes wont have Annakin in, many do, but it is about the war, Cad Bane really ups the ante in brutality. The one thing I believe the show has gotten wrong is Annakin, He is far more grounded and respected in this then Revenge, I dont have anything against him in Revenge, He was frustrated at being treated almost like a child. In the series, he is basicly the republics best weapon, Fearless leader, loved by his men, feared by his enemies, Has a dedicated padawan and overall go to guy for the jedi order You see the dark side in him, but it comes from a place we understand, Also he is very wise and seems overall too difference from his film counter part
  7. i hope the campaign isnt just zerg
  8. Not a tear jerker, but a punch to the gut The eclipse scene in the berserk anime, Having never read the manga at that point, it was a truly WTF moment, and a Monsters, the way the hawks died after achieving so much, so much character growth, to be smashed in seconds in such a horrific way, then what happened to Casca just after her and Guts reunite Spike's end in cowboy bebop. He went out with a bang, but his scene with faye was too sad, she begged him not to go.. lastly from Project arms The main character's oldest friend, who has always loved him, being the dope he is doesnt realise it untill she is kidnapped to get to the main character, he and friends who each have a power called ARMS to transform part of there body into a weapon go to rescue her, after everything to get to that point just as he is about to embrace her, that happens... It emotionally breaks him and his ARMS takes over the full body this anime is awesome., as it uses the story of Alice in wonderland for all its characters and the DBZ team dubbed, it, you have Goku as the leader, Vegita as the 2nd guy who is more aggressive, and Gohan as the timid guy ;p also Naruto's past as a young boy was really sad, He was an orphan, and hated by everyone, never knowing why, kids hated him because of there parents feelings to wards him. saddest part was he never hated them back,
  9. I only play through the campaign, I hope it is as good and as long as the original
  10. i got the impression the aliens were the original skitter race before the harness mutated them, as they have a similar face
  11. Michael Bay is slowly colonizing all of your childhood memories and adding boatloads of dynamite. Bay's production company has just been brought onboard to produce the live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot. Deadline is reporting that Platinum Dunes, Bay's production company, will be co-producing the new TMNT movie with Paramount and Nickelodeon. Perhaps this means more forward momentum for the pizza-gobbling foursome, but does Bay's involvement mean the New York City sewer system going up in flames? Platinum Dunes produced the most recent Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street remakes, and Bay is already at work directing his third installment in the Transformers franchise. Now that Bay is taking on yet another franchise from the 1980s, what's next? Can we expect a TNT-fueled My Little Pony remake? http://io9.com/5550453/michael-bay-gets-ready-to-blow-up-the-ninja-turtles Wonder is he will make the turtles secondary characters to eye candy crappy actors
  12. i cat believe it has taken so long for this season
  13. http://splashpage.mtv.com/2009/09/02/guy-ritchie-to-direct-lobo-movie-still-targeting-pg-13-rating/ Not to be outdone by Disney's acquisition of Marvel Entertainment, DC Comics and Warner Bros. are rolling out some major announcements of their own this week—the latest involving the cigar-chomping, head-stomping antihero, Lobo. According to Variety, a "Lobo" movie is officially on the way with "Sherlock Holmes" helmer Guy Ritchie attached as director. The film, said to be "strong on visual effects," depicts Lobo as "a seven-foot tall, blue-skinned, indestructible and heavily muscled anti-hero who drives a pimped out motorcycle, and lands on Earth in search of four fugitives who are bent on wreaking havoc. Lobo teams with a small town teenaged girl to stop the creatures." While his attachment is surprising, we can't say that Ritchie didn't tease the possibility of "Lobo" earlier. The filmmaker previously hinted to MTV News that his next project would be set in a comic book world, though it wouldn't be "Sgt. Rock" as many had speculated. "What I like is a world where you have major broad poetic license, whether its comic properties or whatever," he said at the time. "I like stepping into an animated world. Exactly how that animation manifests itself is secondary. The primary thing is to leave what we perceive as a normal world and depart into a '300'-type or 'Avatar'-esque. And that appeals to me. I like 'Sin City' and '300' and 'Watchmen.' I like departing from a normal world." All of those movies that Ritchie mentioned boast decidedly dark premises, which isn't surprising considering his work on "Snatch" and "Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels." Still, the WB is aiming for a PG-13 rating for "Lobo," something that producer Joel Silver revealed a few short months ago. "I think ['Lobo' is] structured now as a PG-13 movie," the producer said of the film's rating. "I think we've done it that way, but I love it. While an R-rating would likely provide a truer-to-the-comics "Lobo," films like "The Dark Knight" proved that a comic book movie can test the boundaries of a PG-13 rating. With any luck, "Lobo" will be no different. Do you think "Lobo" and Guy Ritchie are a good match? Are you concerned over the PG-13 rating? Who would you like to see play Lobo?
  14. 4 years old. I remember this topic, Time is crazy fast once you start a monotonousness job ;p
  15. looks decent for the type of movie it is not many movies make it to number 6 and still bring in the a-listers
  16. I am looking to get a second monitor for my PC, I would use it for gaming and videos, so i want a decent one, ideally 24" as i currently have a 23" BenQ monitor I have heard samsugn are the best in terms of colour richness and image quality i was thinking of a monitor in the range of £150-£180 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-S240HLbid-widescreen-monitor-Backlight/dp/B005QVZ79C/ref=pd_cp_computers_3 is £125 http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B0077L2LAM/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1 is £185 http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0077L2LAC/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=computers similiar monitor but 23.6" and £122, anyone know if the difference in price if for only 0.4" smaller and £60 cheaper anyone have any guidance on what to look for I plan on running it via HDMI as my primary monitor and using my current one for web browsing or video (often my daughter wants to watch cartoons on my pc, with 2 monitors i can at least read the news or something ;p )
  17. cheers i went for that one, i dont think it was worth the price difference between 23.6 - 24inches
  18. Im pretty sure USA has anti missile defence systems years ahead of north Korea Also im pretty sure every country in the world has about a dozen nukes now pointed at north korea
  19. I like Glenn, Rick is really losing it, the pressure of leading is breaking him, but i dont get there xenophobia to anyone not in there crew Strength in numbers, and his surviving team has lost most of its muscle He should jump at the chance to get some tough guys who are not total ass hats (like the prisoners)
  20. cross platform would be awesome, however, I dont imagine it would ever happen, it online was harmonised, people would simple take the cheaper option
  21. Back in the day science in comics was kinda: ''make it up if it sounds like it could make sense'' If it actually weighed that, it would probably fall to the centre of the planet if he ever put it down ;p
  22. My 2 cents on the next gen of consoles I bet the next gen will really push for digital purchasing over there network, with current home BB being faster then ever, a new console launch could be the catalyst needed to shift the market, to make this the norm, With cloud becoming more reliable, more and more data canbe held on a server with lil to no lag Ps2 gave birth to DvD, Ps3 gave us BluRay, XB360 made multi player a more important factor in gaming All these features existed before the consoles, but the consoles have a very strong influence I hope next gen has backward compatibility The price seems decent however, would make sense as Bluray RnD would have been under ps3's overheads, extra ram, and processors are not that expensive compared to the development of new tech
  23. personally i would head to the coast preferable for a very large yacht or small cruise ship, zombies cant swim and plenty of fish to eat, also sea air should increase decomposition of the walkers making them slower and go into a dessicated state sooner season 2 was a chore to watch, great drama, and suspense, but didnt feel like a zombie show Season 1 was truly awesome, it felt like the world had ended, seeing LA deserted and 1000's of walkers was crazy for a TV show s3, again feels more localised like s2, which makes set from a filming stand point, but way better then s2,
  24. Doesnt hollywood have any other director available JJ schedule is so booked, we wont get these untill 2020
  25. he still holds back, 1 slap would pancake 99.999999 % of everything
