This season annoyed me.. I felt like dropping the show during season 2, but the ending with the new aliens really piqued my interest.. but this season has disappointed me. But before I get into that.. yes! So many commercial breaks! I kept flipping back over to Shark Week on Discovery channel.
 
Maybe I missed an episode where things were explained.. but the things that annoyed me about this season include:
 
 
 
They really need some good writers.. I'd list off the good parts of the series, but its hard for me.. because the good parts of team work, human struggle, emotional scenes, etc. all happen so frequently that they lose all meaning. I know TNT prides itself on "drama", but man, they need to balance that out with some good writing and plausible scenarios.

Meh to this season. And whats with the commercial breaks, especially 5 minutes before the end of the ep? I've read they were transitioning showrunners over this season, flipping half the staff... it definitely was felt. The second half was better than the first, but overall they could have done better.

Now if only this was about Cosmo it would have the excuse about Duke Nukem really needing money for his cameo after how bad DNF turned out to be.

I loved Ronin Warriors. A live action movie of that would be epic. On a side note, I tried watching the japanese version of it and wow.. the english version was completely edited.. even names were swapped with different characters.
 
 
I think he did good in it too. I've seen it a couple times now and its one of the few movies hes in that I actually bought on dvd. I don't care for most of his other roles, hes usually all action and no substance. I think Keanu needs to redeem himself acting wise. I didn't care for him in the Matrix movies, but the guy does have some acting skill, he just keeps getting roles that don't really seem fit for him IMO. Although he owned in Bill & Ted.

I remember having so many high expectations for the Super Mario Bros movie.. I kept thinking the gombas would be Yoda sized puppets and Bowser would be this awesome looking house sized godzilla monster.. and then I got my issue of Nintendo Power with pictures of the upcoming movie..
 
Wow.. I now expect this Akira movie to look like Karate-Robo Zaborgar... look it up on netflix. lmfao.

Oddly enough I thought Tom Cruise did a wonderful job in The Last Samurai, it's one of the only movies I actually like him in. As long as Keanu can pull it off (and not act like he usually does) I think this will be a good movie. Seventh Son looks good but honestly they have the same feel to them. Then again that could be because I've basically given up on Hollywood making good movies anymore.

Doesn't disappoint at all, I had a blast. Check it out. There's nothing new to the table but it's low on CG and well-made. Good tense moments.

As exciting as this can be all I really needed was 1&2 to be released on Steam. Here's hoping they might do that as well.

Ordered it on demand the same day it came out and watched it. Re-watched it 2 nights ago. It's a slow-burn science fiction thriller, very impressive on technical grounds and isn't your run-of-the-mill found footage films. There's no dumb hand-shake/jerk stuff going on since there are camera's set up throughout the ship and what you see is real-time stuff. In space, anything can go wrong when you have that much distance to travel, they set off to explore Europa, a moon of Jupiter. Nice tribute to 2001 visually and when you hear

I paid $60 a month for basic cable internet from Comcast. with TV it was $100. $300 up front for 7 years is $42 a year, which is unreal, is a pretty sweet deal, but I'd def have no issue paying $20 more a month than I use to for that speed increase. They just need to hurry up and get it in more places.

Heh, let them track my movements. I work in retail so I'll just fuck with their data since I stay in one area 90% of the night.

I'll be sure to only use it when I'm taking a dump in their bathroom.

This is exciting for new buyers.... But I already own SR2 & SR3 on Steam. I've tried to convince myself to get it for SR3 Full Package, but do I really need to own SR3 five times? Just seems (too) weird.

I don't think publishing will help them out any in sales. Its a niche group of people that will more than likely get frustrated with how bad they will be "limited".
 
As it stands right now, anything that is sold digitally on XBL whether it be a game or DLC has to pass some strict guidelines to be approved... and modifications or bug fixes have to go through the same processes, which is why a few games on Xbox have taken long amounts of time to patch. If developers groan at these processes I can only see the outcry from regular joe blows trying to put their content out there. I don't think MS is willing to become as unsecured as the Google Play store. There is one thing I can give MS props on, and thats their crack down on cheating. It's almost non existent outside of COD map glitches. Unregulated content would be a new avenue for cheaters, They've been doing it on iPhone for years making dummy apps that are really free tethering apps to bypass AT&Ts restrictions... (This is what lead to the end of unlimited data plans FYI).
 
This goes hand in hand with modding... a big chunk of this target group would be modders... There will be an outcry about how people can't make their own DLC for games, Extra maps and what not. MS is going to regulate it all... and how will they deal with the achievements? Will they let these player made DLC's have extra achievements? If you can sell your content, do you get to decide a price? MS will most definitely take a chunk of your proceeds for themselves... that will be another thing that will have people crying, but what are the implications of this? Will MS change the culture of modding to where modders expect to be paid for their content after tasting the monetary value of their work? Console DLC it self has changed the once free DLC of the PC gaming world.
 
On a stretch, someone could make a few impressive DLC's sell them, become highly acclaimed for their work as a common gamer... and slowly build funds from these sales to start a small gaming studio... only to be purchased by EA or Activision... the end

This sounds like the same thing Ouya does. Though that now makes me question the difference between Self Publishing on PS4 when compared to Xbox One & Ouya.
 
On my own personal note though I can't get excited about Self Publishing to a console like I once did after how I was treated by Ouya.
By having to wait 3 months longer when I spent more for the brown limited edition. Or by the fact its meant to play games that don't require 720P or more only to come with an HDMI cable so I can't plug it into my current TV currently. Or how it has gotten mixed reviews due to it being buggy. Or the fact when I originally made my donation it was for the hope I could make free fanfics &/or sex games only for them to do business with retail & take that dream away.  
Actually the more console companies say Self Publishing the more I want to stay away from them & get a PC (that runs Linux). At least then I can make my Free Fanfic Games & consider the plausibility how I'll make money for my original games without reducing them to M ratings or having to share hypothetical profit with console companies.
