Wish it wasn't PG-13 and was R, like Dredd which was fun even though it was like The Raid. 
 
Combat armor's black the silver one. Stealth is black. 
 
Big difference in plot is how he dies and how that affects the character and the movie's intent. In the original, Murphy is tortured, shot at, and eventually murdered with a bullet to the head. He was a cop all this while. Traumatic. As Robocop he suffers PTSD and that shows the human element and depth in his character. 
 
In the new movie, he's home chilling and his car explodes. Looks like the company did that to him on purpose to experiment on him, maybe he gets back to them when he finds out they did this to him and probably other cops who've been experimented on/ died in the process and he seeks revenge. 

I think back is the better colour for what he is,
Black is a colour associated with tactical squads / special divisions of law enforcement like SWAT.
   
 
H now seems more cyborg then robot, which i think will be peoples biggest gripe 
Alex died, and was re-animated as a cyborg, more machine then man, and learnt humanity again
 
this take seems to be more cyborg, that is essentially an augmented human, human feelings with a programmable body, 
 
 
Personally i don't think the film needed to be remade, but that doesn't mean it will suck,. it will be entertaining at least.
I look forward to it, 
Back when robocop was made in the 80's people could barly fathom the idea of touch screen, 3d imagining or even flat screens.
 
I am curious to the take of the future this film will have.
Personally I think he should be more mobile, stronger faster and smarter. Why does he need 3 inch layers of steel to be bullet proof when new compounds of metal can be 5mm thick and more resistant,
Less walking tank more walking arsenal.

Yeah, but imagine in a generation or two it might become so much more and better, almost Holodeck like. I see this eventually becoming just straight projection with no TV involved. I also see competition arising from the concept. Sony will definitely be in the fray. In fact within the next 4 generations of console gaming, I predict Nintendo becoming strictly handheld, keeping its titles 1st part on that platform while licensing it out 3rd party for consoles, and perhaps even taking the lead on this holo tech as a 3rd party peripheral, while Google enters the console gaming market with Driodsole!

Microsoft announced today that Xbox One will release November 22nd, the same day Xbox 360 released eight years ago and exactly one week after the PS4 launches.

I hope this rumor turns out to be true since I already preordered a PS4. That & I won't have to worry about not getting The Elder Scrolls Online with Oculus Rift Support if the PS4 version also has Virtual Reality Support.

lmfao. I just saw this KMart commercial and I couldn't stop laughing.

Guided Rockets back? YES!!!! I forgot all about those. I don't like the remote control mortar. I can see people using them just to draw someone in and score an easy kill by camping out their own mortar. Staying by the mortar is the chance you take if you shoot more than 2-3 rounds out of it before repositioning.
 
I'm glad he actually showed us tiered reloading in this video. I like this a lot. I cant tell you how many times I've died while trying to reload, pulling out my pistol and doing some work and trying to go back to my primary. The knife reversals look kinda silly, and I dont like using sixaxis to lean and peak... ugh.
 
He speaks great about the PS4 version... I'll take PC medium settings. We're trading 32 player 1080p for 64 player 780... I'll take it. the PS3 maps were nerfed. 4 flags instead of 6 on conquest.
 
These are the first games on the next gen.. just look at the 1st games on PS3 and 360 compared to what has come out in the past 2 years... big difference. I think we'll be ok for Battlefront 3.

I do agree with what you say about knowing what it could be about and still being good. Completely agree. I try to go watch things because I kinda like giving it a chance. I know I can't hike up that high, but I still like to try it out and few sweaty hours later, I feel good I could. So yeah, this's coming from someone who watched Drive Angry and thought it was fun.
 
I'm gonna end up watching this regardless. Just being honest about my first reaction heh.

MS should have just gone straight digital only instead of having all those physical game restrictions. People would have probably freaked out less. Of course that would have probably screwed them even more. Xbox is in numerous countries, including countries with limited internet. Digital distribution works for Steam because they are established as that platform.. But MS would have alienated a lot of its fan base and screwed itself in numerous countries if it went that route.
 
I'm glad to see Sony doing large digital sales. The consoles need to compete with online digital sales like Steam. Obviously Steam makes profit with these sales.. there is no packaging, no paid advertisements, no real over head.. the sale will advertise itself. There is no reason why digital versions of games on PSN should cost more than used games at gamestop. If they want to compete with Steam and Gamestop and get more of that money back into their own hands, they need digital sales.
 
And I just noticed that the discount upgrade will only be for digitially purchased games. If someone buys the physical copy, they will not get the digital discount:

Btw, I just found this video about BF4.. this guy played the PS4 and PC versions and has some insight on it.. I'll have to watch this video tomorrow, I only caught a little bit of it so far:

I wouldn't doubt it would be on PS4 eventually... I was thinking that since it was announced. Its EA... They want money, and they will put it on all platforms.
