had to call sears technician to fix our dryer about six months ago. he said he would be back bc he had no tools to do the job right away, waiting for that numbnut turned into a week or two, finally called someone else, turned out a freaking bird was nesting on a vent exit and that was blocking the flow or whatever. fixed it less than 15 mins. i got the hang of air drying for awhile, but back to being convenient

I forgot to update, I got the car 9 days ago! Exactly 3 months from the date I put the deposit down. I'll have to upload some pics of it soon. I'm glad it finally came in. I was stressing my ass off with my old car since the exhaust could have broken off at almost any time. 6 days after I got the car I bought new snow tires for it. I'm all set for the winter now.

good choice. 👍 my brother’s toyota corolla 1999 lasted me until 2013 without any major probs. my current toyota yaris 2013 is ok but back when i was purchasing it, a car salesman warned me that its a hybrid so it would be hard to get parts if it needed. over the years, getting a new tire was a pain bc it took 2 weeks to order it. but now with all these shortages idk. i do have some old spare tires in my garage though..patched up after hitting nails and stuff like that.

And I found out today the car I'm buying won't even be built until the first week of November and I probably won't get the car until December. Wtf.

Good god I didn't think it was a massive as it is. Freaking thing is taller than my PC's case. My poor Switch looks so tiny next to it.
I don't have that problem. Got so many PS4 games on the backlog that my PS5 will get plenty of use (until Endwalker comes out, then it'll just be a media machine for awhile). Sadly though there a very few PS5 games I'm currently interested in and since this blew my spending budget for the year I won't even be able to buy the PS5 games I even want.

yeah it does. one time during hot ass day one of store customers asked my ex coworker why i wear clothes like its winter and he told the customer i was covered in tattoo and was trying to hide it lolol 😂
maybe theres a hidden puddle of water they are breeding near your house that you missed. hope you get them. they use to lay eggs on window washing dispenser/bucket thing at work and they were crawling/swimming with mosquito worms..really nasty. couldnt spot them until i got like 1 feet close, i thought they were just hair and dirt at first.

Sledgstone reacted to Strider Hiryu in Finished Gundam SEED tonight. As cliche as it could get, I still really enjoyed it. M
Brave words coming from a man knowing I'm lurking in the dark corners of this place
Meh, could never get into SEED. Outside some damn good Gundam designs (which to be honest most of the Gundam shows I hate have) the show is just trash (and I say this having only watched 5 episodes, I couldn't stomach the similarities between it and the original in the first five episodes (the beginning is damn near a copy of the beginning of the original Gundam, just with more flash and shittier characters)).
Each their own though, I learned a long time ago I'm just an old Gundam fan screaming at the sky about how in my day we didn't need all this flashy stuff to interest the masses. We just need old school storytelling, shitty animation, and a crotchety old Tomino-sensei to draw in the masses
Speaking of Unicorn I really need to get around to watching that.

The rest of my wood is all cut up as of this last weekend. A friend came over with his chainsaw and worked his ass off for me. He did an amazing job. We had a hell of a bonfire. Lol.

I'm glad you got your crown fixed! lol @ the hoarder comment. It was like that for me too. When we bought the house and moved, the 15 years of stuff we accumulated ended up being a huge amount of stuff. We weren't hoarders, but damn its amazing how easily so much stuff can build up that we haven't used or touched in over 10 years. And I threw out alot of stuff over the year leading up to us buying a house and moving too. Its crazy how stuff just starts to blend into the background or in a basement.

Oh yeah, I've seen alot of failed tree felling videos. I'm pretty sure most of them where people getting killed, but the video just shows the tree whacking them or the person falling from a distance, not what they look like in a mess on the ground. One of my mom's friends has a son in law that was trimming a tree over the weekend. He fell 30 feet, broke 2 ribs and collapsed a lung. I think hes still in the hospital. Screw that. Thats why I paid a guy. He was here 2 hours. First he climbed the tree next to the tree he was going to cut, trimmed like 15 branches off the good tree and attached a safety line to it. He had to trim those branches because in case something happened with the dead tree he was cutting, he'd be able to do a quick latch release and swing off the dead tree over to the good tree and those branches had to be cut so he wouldn't impale himself on them in case that situation happened.

i did feel he was kinda rushing it that day bc it was well over closing time by the time it was finished. but hes a good dentist, hes the one who did my old crown 20 years ago..and it was kinda my fault too bc he specifically told me not to pull it upward when taking a floss out. i did that multiple times (everytime i ate something) with a lot of force when it got stuck between my teeth and it popped out.  but i did manage to get another appointment this friday and got it redone without paying. he seemed embarrassed about it and didnt question me how it fell off. he got into work right away, talking to me about what he was doing, making jokes and taking his time to make sure its secure etc. his wife who works there as his assistant apolgized to me so im not even upset or anything ill just be careful when flossing from now on.
fortunately there was no water pipe damage and the carpet was replaced with wooden floor. i heard all the plumbing companies were booked for two months in houston. X_x the hardest part was removing old books, cds, clothes, and furniture etc from the house before the construction started. took me 3 full weeks to get rid of all of them, even sneaking in the morning dumping trashes near local stores’ dumpsters bc i didnt want to piss off garbage men that visit twice a week lol. i didnt consider myself a hoarder but man there were lot of junks that i didnt touch for 20 something years. 0_o
(ps idk why my texts are showing small sorry about that)

ive seen youtube videos where tree cutters get killed when a tree branch snaps and somehow tangled rope drags the cutter down with it. very dangerous but they do make good money it seems, my ex coworker’s husband is a tree cutter and during summer one job earns him $500-$800 average, thats after giving his workers their share. in winter he sells firewood from trees he had cut down

unbelivable.  ever since that missing package fiasco back in december, its been nothing but bad luck this year. had to replace entire carpets in jan, snow storm in feb, hit and run incident and car damage/maintenance in march..and as soon as that shits been settled, on that very same day my old crown broke off and had to go back and forth all month in april to get that denture ready..although ill probably never use it..and then just yesterday i had two fillings done and when i thought everything was fucking over, one of them fell off while i was flossing this afternoon. i waited 2 weeks for that appointment and costed me $130 each..its 50 mins drive from my work so im thinking just fuck it and leave it alone and brush my teeth twice a day or something. X_X this dental nightmare alone has racked up close to $900 ~ $1000 already. wtf. can i ask for 4th stimulus check, please? lol

That sucks. I was told the same thing with having my one tooth pulled. He said because I'm still young enough, over the years the teeth will shift and screw up chewing. Honestly a denture doesn't seem that bad to me. If I need another root canal or dental pull it'll be a hard choice for me. This crown worked pretty good so far, but if my option was implant or denture, I'd go denture 100% no questions asked. Screw the price of implants.

Holy crap.  Yeah screw that. All that sounds like horror stories to me. I'm ok on a small ladder like working on my single story roof gutters or getting on a ladder to do light bulbs and stuff, but this tree is roughly 36-38 inches wide and probably 50 feet in the air. Its too near the house to safely cut because it could potentially still hit the house because of the angle of the huge part of the tree's trunk. This tree guy is fully insured so if he falls to his death or hits the house with part of the tree, his insurance will cover it. x_x The tree guy said he'll climb up there, tie off ropes at multiple locations and take the tree down in 4-5 large cuts as he climbs back down it.

two fridays ago my old crown broke off (had it done back in 1999) and took a good chunk of my front tooth with it. i guess inside was decaying a bit but my root (upper half) was fine so i didnt need another root canal. it looked horrible like a roughed up horseshoe close to my gumline with dark metal stains but doc smoothed it out and gave me a filling. putting the old crown ($80) back or getting a new crown ($800) wasnt an option and a waste of money bc there was nothing to hold on to and itll just fall off within a year he told me. he recommended me to pull the rest of that tooth out and get an implant but its $4500..no way lol. i decided to get a denture ($310) and i have another appointment this thursday to pick it up and get it adjusted. but i kinda regret paying for it bc i dont think i need it anymore. im use to it now with looks and feel, and have no trouble eating. i thought of pulling it out too but i was told that my neighboring teeth will eventually move towards that vacant space and get crooked teeth so im just gonna leave it as it is.

I got my permanent crown in a couple days ago. Honestly, I'm very pleased with the end results. The new crown fills in the big gap that was between the temp crown and the other back tooth where I had to have the crown lengthening done. The new tooth feels great and I was able to eat normally on that side of my mouth for the first time in two months.

Amen, next tooth of mine that needs a root canal is getting pulled and I really don't care where it is (I think I can pull the hillbilly look off, I already have the scruffy beard). They're to expensive (after all was said and done I paid roughly the same as you) and time consuming (especially considering all the follow-up shit until you actually get the permanent one). Definitely not worth it for a fake tooth no one sees anyways (well except your dentist).
