Well events go on for one to two months. This isn't really an event though its the next chapter of the living world. So I don't know if everyone is scaled up to do it or if its only for level 80 players that already beat the main story. Dungeons require 5 people to defeat... but I've done with with 3 and even 2 people before... its a pain in the ass without 5. If I'm on when you guys get to that point and need and extra man for a dungeon, I'll be glad to assist.

Turns out its only for level 80 players, but as long as I log in during the event I can get it unlocked to accomplish later.. I think thats how it works.

Oh! Those guys. They remind me of the centaurs. Sentient creatures like those frog guys. The centaurs had a story line in gw1. I'm surprised they are nothing but a warrior race with slaves now.

I often hear NPC chatter about being weary of the alliance with the Charr, and someone always reminds the crowd the Centaurs are the real enemy.

If you hang around the black citadel long enough you'll hear the young cubs talking about how stinky the humans are and why they're even allowed in the city. Usually an adult tells them, yes.. I know they stink but we need their help with the dragons. The Charr have their hands full with the human ghosts of Ascalon, thats probably what kept their disgust of humans strong after all these years and new generations.

And yeah all I got was a bunch of greens too.

After getting the mastery point from beating it and a couple LS2 chapters, I now have auto loot. Such a great QoL experience.

The mordy fight is def more challanging than Zhatain. It also adds a very big emotional punch in the gut mid way.

Eh.. In the end I didn't buy anything on prime day. Nothing really jumped out at me as something I must buy that day. I bet the majority of the sales were people that buy discounted items and then relist them on ebay. This is becoming so common that its worse than the GW2 trading post. All the newest graphics cards are instantly bought and relisted on ebay for $100 more than what the person bought it for.

They just had a bunch of crap that I didn't need. Doom for $29 was tempting... but nothing else really went on sale. When I found stuff that interested me it was some lame $5-10 off deal, while other things were 30-50% off. They also made it really difficult to search prime deals only by category or via the search function.

I hated trying to find anything for sale. It was almost impossible. It was like hanging out at Walmart all day but not being able to browse and instead have some guy announcing to everyone that bulk packages of pop tarts, an exercise bicycle and women's speed stick were all on sale for the next 20 minutes and we'd get an update again on more sales soon. Screw that selling strategy.

Strider, if you're using the PS4 app its pretty bad. It seems to be inconsistent and I want to blame both Funi and Sony for it... but mostly funi since PS4's connectivity issues can be worked around by Netflix and every other streaming app it can run. Sadly funi's tech division is in the stone ages. When I first signed up you couldn't even save where you were in an ep or have a history of what you watched. With the membership update tuesday, bugs have riddled the library to where you have to use search and know what you're looking for as the selections on browsing are cut in half or worse.

Some people say they can't even get the app to work, others say they have no issues at all. I will get at least one crash or constant buffering a session. Testing the connection in network settings for me solves the buffer thing, The app crashing, and restarting is just an anomaly, it wont happen for the rest of the day... for a universal solution I can't blame this on Wifi because people say it happens to them on a wired connection. I just know my PS4 has always been finicky about wifi, especially when changing modems over the years. Even though I get 100mbs, my PS4 never does better than around 30-40mbs on wifi. And it will go as low as 12mbs. When I had slower net speeds it was worse. I could run connection test 5 times and get 5 different speeds within a range of 20mbs of each other. So that tells me its never consistent at any time. I think that's what causes the app to crap out for a lot of people because Funi doesn't know how to code for constant connection quality changes or whatever. I can stream on my PC without issue 100%. Who knows what it is. but Yeah I wouldn't blame you for dropping the service since you're mostly a sub watcher.... although Funi now has a ton of subs on simulcast. 

@Strider Hiryu I didn't pay a dime for CBS All Access. Now that the second season is done you can get a free 7 day trial, marathon the entire series and cancel it. Aside from Star Trek Discovery there is absolutely nothing I want from CBS All Access. Same with if a season 3 gets made and eventually released 8 months to a year from now, I'll do a different free trial then too after the season finishes airing and watch it. Also, if you didn't finish Enterprise I highly recommend that last season and a half. You'll either love it or hate it since it takes the show in a completely different direction and the tech they show is pretty unique to.

People gave mixed reviews for Discovery for many obvious reasons for season 1 if you watch it. They did the Klingons completely wrong and then try to say it was canon. My ass. Even with how they tried to fix them in season 2 they still screwed them up beyond redemption with season 1. I honestly did not like season 1 at all until they started a different arc 3/4 through the season. They also focused a bit too much on relationships. Straight, homosexual, etc. I wanted to watch Star Trek not watch some half assed relationship drama sub plots that takes place on a space ship. Season 2 was much better since it actually focused on the exploration first and foremost. The other complaint I saw was people complaining about the crew behavior, occasional swearing, and lack of discipline in some cases. Oh no, there was 3 swear words in this season! Blasphemy!  To me it actually made the characters more relatable. Unlike in Enterprise where Scot Bakula's character and half the crew all tried to be boy scouts in space with too strong of a focus on emotional baggage.

DS9 was good. I liked the Dominion war and found it very interesting. I think DS9 gets too much crap thrown at it because of Sisko's character progression into becoming basically a space jesus. lol. I definitely understand why people would want religion not mentioned in a space scifi series, but for DS9 it worked because it was unknown alien life living in a worm hole.

@DeathscytheX Yea I use the PS4 app and its fucking terrible. It worked perfectly when I started to use it (back when I was watching Hellsing Ultimate) but started to go to shit like shortly after (in fact it was horrendous when I was watching Corpse Princess). I hadn't used it since I finished Corpse Princess so I was hoping it was fixed but honestly it's not and my issue is the buffering problem (which also persists in the Phone App as well leading me to conclude the PS4 and Mobile apps are either the same or based on the same architecture). It works fine on my PC (which I tested Saturday night) but ever since I started watching anime through the CR app on PS4 I kinda don't like watching shit on my PC anymore (I like to watch shit while I'm in bed, kinda hard to do when my PC isn't in line of sight)) but I just don't really want to watch it there (as noted). Honestly there is quite a bit on Funimation I'd like to watch (more then I originally thought since CR lost everything when the partnership ended) and it's the only place I can currently stream Isekai Quartet and Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san (which is fucking adorable and so relaxing to watch) so I really don't want to drop my sub yet. After Senko and Isekai are done airing I'll revisit whether or not I want to cancel my sub.

@Sledgstone Hmmmm, maybe I'll get the week trial then and binge it (once I'm done watching Letterkenny on Hulu (god this show is fucking awesome, if you have Hulu check it out it's fucking hilarious)) since my curiosity is getting the best of me here (I really want to know more about this tech Discovery has because they don't explain it in STO at all). That was my major issue with watching it was their complete fuck-up with the Klingons. I can live with TOS Klingons because it's canon and actually explained in TNG why they are the way they are but those abominations in Discovery are not Klingons. Everything else looked pretty amazing but I just couldn't get past the those looks.

I plan on watching the rest of Enterprise but it's hard to find the time when I rarely watch anything besides anime now-a-days (I make time here and there for TV/Movies occasionally but I'm always on my PC playing FFXIV or doing other shit and usually have Twitch on as background noise) especially since I got screwed and the channel carrying it back when it was airing went off the air in my area so I only got to see up until the end of S2 (I got to see S3 and part of 4 back when SyFy used to run marathons of it but never got further then that). I actually liked the whole boy scout aspect of it since this was technically humanity's first foray into space (it did get slightly annoying but it was still enjoyable).

Yea the whole space jesus thing was probably the one of the only things that rubbed me the wrong way in DS9. Never really could wrap my head around it but that only really becomes a massive plot point later on. Still didn't detract from my enjoyment though (especially since some of my favorite Star Trek characters are in DS9). Plus it also introduced my favorite Federation starship (the Defiant, god I love that little ship. Not as much as I like my Presidio Class in STO (it's such a beautiful ship and fucking powerful)).

Got my other ceiling fan installed yesterday. Took me even longer than the first one. Wtf. 7 hours to install this. I'm pleased with the end result.

I guess the dip tube was broken in the apartment I use to live in. The shower would only stay hot for a good 5-6 minutes. Shit was so annoying. Eventually the damn thing just cracked open and they had to replace it after saying nothing was wrong with it for a year in a half.

Lol. Sounds like a typical landlord to me. I watched these 2 very informative videos and the guy explains the entire workings of a water heater. I had no idea what that plastic tube inside my water heater was called so I watched videos to try and find out. Those plastic dip tubes corrode and break off after a while. I had no idea this was a thing. This guy's tank had 2 or 3 broken ones inside.

It makes so much sense why my showers don't stay hot nowhere near as long as at my old house. A replacement tube with the metal nipple screw on piece is $39 on amazon. I can't find the damn things for sale at any hardware store. But lowes and home depot will sell a drip tube because they need to sell those with new units. But a dip tube, nope, they'd rather have you buy a new water heater.

Also, I turned the heat up on my water heater last year because of the cold showers, turns out with my hard well water, that caused the heating elements to burn more of the minerals out of the water faster causing the build up mineral sediment faster. My water heater is working good now since friday but I'll replace the dip tube this spring when I don't have to worry about draining any more water out into the snow. Then my showers will get a significant improvement. In the mean time my showers now last a good 10 minutes of hot/warmth and that's good enough for now. 

I use to love ranch dressing... and I still do, but only fresh made like from restaurants. I guess I eat out so much I got spoiled and I find Hidden Valley, Kraft, and even Ken's to be just nasty. I can taste all the preservatives. Next time I do baked potatoes I'll just buy that $8 canister of Hidden Valley ranch dust and see how that works. I love ranch flavoring, just not the bottled stuff.

lmao!  Be careful not to spoil yourself too much, you might eventually have so many fresh tortilla chips that Doritos start tasting stale right out of the bag.  You could ruin snack foods for yourself.

I don't think Doritos has guar gum. The local chicken tender place here makes the best ranch ever. I've eaten it so much its probably the main culprit. I've said it before but my liking for soda has been ruined too. I'd never buy coke from the store, but I'll enjoy a fountain coke any day of the week. its night and day.

Oh and Hostess sucks now that it's owned by a Mexican company. Due to regulations it now has to be frozen before it comes to the US and into the stores. So everything doesn't taste fresh. Twinkies are garbage now, even the chocolate covered one... so in a way some snacks have been ruined. Oreos are still good though, I guess freezing them doesn't matter if they have to be frozen.

I checked yahoo.com for the hell of it.. I searched Ancient Clan and it brings up all the pages no problem. I don't get why google has to be such an ass about indexing.

Google is actually sending us some traffic again. As of this morning we've had 20 clicks since last monday night from the search term "zoro kill count". Somehow an old topic from 2006 is the number 1 result for that search as of right now. Lol.

At least I know it's working again and google is indexing the correct https links.

When searching for Ancient Clan, we now show up on page 11 of google results.  I need to update the site description and meta tags. These results are garbage. x_x

lol damn..8 hours sounds like a nightmare. i hope you dont have to go thru that everytime you clean it. O_o the waterheater that got replaced had no problem for 20 years. or at least i dont remember it needing any maintenance. but the new one is electric, maybe little more than a year old, and it already had an overheating issue a couple months back. a technician said it was an error due to power outage but idk. i hope it lasts as long as the old one bc just by calling someone to check on it is like $120.

It was only 8 hours because I had to drive to Lowes 3 times, lol. That was probably 2ish hours just in driving and going through the store. But it did take a long time. Mostly because I had to clean all the connections thoroughly because the original owners screwed up the connections and caused a corrosion issue. At one point I had to wait about an hour for the tank to finish draining. x_x When I go to do a yearly maintenance on it, as long as I set the water heater to drain in the morning, I could get the job done in an hour because the elements are facing the front of the heater so I don't need to disconnect anything again. So about an hour once a year not counting the time to drain it isn't too bad.

That gas water heater probably lasted that long because you must have decent water there. The gas burner is under the tank while an electric one has two heating elements that are inside the tank. Both the gas and electric ones get mineral deposit buildup all over the inside heat sources, that eventually builds up, flakes off and settles to the bottom of the tank, or for electric will build up so much it completely damages the elements until they break. Because I have well water and its heavy with minerals, that build up really builds up very very fast compared to public water that is already treated from a water company. The maintenance I'll have to do is drain the tank, take out the two elements and replace them, only $27 for a set, and vacuum out that mineral buildup at the bottom of the tank. I might get a water softener at some point and then I'd only have to do the maintenance for the water heater maybe once every 10 years. Your gas tank probably had 20 years of mineral buildup that eventually filled up so high it was causing heating issues. and btw, that mineral build up is heavy as hell. I bet those guys struggled their assess off removing that thing. lol.

Plumbers are expensive. x_x

Oh and I forgot to say, that dip tube I installed in the water heater turned my 8 minute warm showers into 30+ minute hot steam showers. Night and day difference. It's like it's brand new. Not bad for a $30 part off amazon.

This is what the calcium buildup looks like that's in every water heater. Google water heater calcium buildup for some nasty looking pictures. Lol. I'm lucky tho, the inside and outside of my tank looks practically new still. But some really old tanks look so unhealthy and unsafe. Lol.

i use i-blason case. in the past i dropped it like a couple times on a cement floor with no noticeable damage so its pretty sturdy. you already ordreded yours but i-blason also have a case for your galaxy s20 under $20. check it out if your other case doesnt work out. for a better cover, a tool pouch/phone holster works well too if you dont like your phone exposed when you have it clipped on to your belt or front pocket.

I might have to look into the phone holster. I was going to activate the phone today but I got it out of the case and I'm hesitant to use this thing without a case on it. My luck is horrible, if I start using this thing, I'm sure I'll drop it by accident and crack the screen. I'll just wait 4 more days for the case to get delivered first.

My case arrived early and I got my new phone activated.  This is a huge upgrade over my s7. Way nicer camera too. Whats interesting is I looked at i-blason's website but they didn't have a galaxy s20 fe case. They have plenty of s20 cases, but the fe is a different size and none would fit. But I got my supcase cases in the mail and the return address was for i-blason. wtf. lol. I guess supcase is a company of i-blason. The case appears to be damn good quality. My phone has a protective screen on it from the manufacturer so I left that on for now. I did buy a couple film screen protectors off amazon that already arrived. I never knew there were tempered glass screen protectors until the other day. Those look decent but some people say they don't let the s20 FE thumb print scanner work correctly. I might just take this film protector off anyway because my case has a built in one anyway. I also saw some people like to use a tempered glass protector over the camera lenses, but it messes up photos unless the flash is used. I could understand using a protector, but I don't think I'll get one just for the camera lenses. My case is big enough that the camera area won't be touching any surfaces when I sit the phone down so that should be good enough.

Yep, they force people to be asses to them, because if we're not, nothing gets fixed. The last time I called and b*tched at UPS was a year ago when they left the 26 inch HDTV I ordered on my neighbors back porch. That tv was shipped in its original package. Aside from the mailing address on it, my neighbor would have thought the TV fairy came and dropped off a present for them. After that, they found my house again for the next 6 months.

As soon as Christmas is over, Valentines candy will be in, and as soon as Feb 20th Easter candy will be in. Then after that 4th of July promos start. Working in retail really makes the years go by so fast.

No shit. We've had Halloween candy since the end of June and costumes since the end of July. I'm surprised we don't have Christmas trees yes.

I'm using it right now. The screen is huge. I bought the best buy buy back program 2 years ago for $30 per phone. Along with the $50 gift card deal I signed up for back in Feb . I walked out with 2 phones with cases and over $280 in gift cards.

Learn some features and teach them to me! The only thing I know to do is move my hand across the screen to tell me the time ... in fact, make a topic for it so S4 guys can compare/ share notes.
