  1. I watched the first season (at least first available on netflix) of The Great British Baking Show. This was amazingly relaxing. lol. Everyone is so nice, the music is soothing. No stress, yet informative baking info. I got to the end of the first season, saw who won and everyone is happy in the end. wtf. XD This is so different from all other competition shows. In the finale all the previous contestants were having a field day / picnic with friends and family while the last 3 people competed. After the winner was announced the other finalist responded with things like "The right person won this today." wtf. XD Nobody is mad. XD What really shocked me was the prize. The winner got a couple bouquets of flowers and a glass serving dish / trophy for a cake... and thats it. lmao. I had to google it.. there is no prize money, no cook book deal, no vacation or baking job... just the satisfaction of winning. Wow. XD The next season started and it begins with "We had over 10,000 participants attempting to get into this season.." So many people spending so much time for no rewards besides personal growth and experience. I like this show.

Fake drama and pointless scripted banter has ruined alot of American realty TV for me. I haven't watched Pawn Stars in years because of it. I just want interesting and knowledgeable information about the subject the show it about. Thats why I liked Mythbusters so much. There was no talk about Grant's love life or any discussion about Jamie and Adam never getting along outside of the show. It was an enjoyable show packed full of explanations, enjoyment and explosions with no drama. I do like watching Masterchef and it sometimes forces some drama on the contestants via reward advantages, but its a much better show than Hell's Kitchen where everyone just yells at each other smoking 12 packs of cigarettes in between every kitchen shift. That gets old pretty quick. This baking show has really opened my eyes again to what a good reality show can be. Calm, informative and without banter and arguments you end up routing for specific people, but then don't feel crushed if they loose. Its really quite refreshing. If I want to watch arguments and pointless drama I'd turn on that real housewives show or one of those other crap reality shows that are no where close to being "reality" and are more like badly acted ad lib soap operas.

This is generally why I like British TV more than American TV, no pointless drama and the shows are actually well thought out and funny (I adore the original version of the Office more than the American version, so much better and funnier). If you compare the original version of Being Human to the American version that was on SyFy you would see a remarkable difference (the British version was more focused on the characters and their problems, you actually felt connected to the characters unlike the American version).

I might have to give the show a shot. Sounds like its a lot more relaxing to watch then the crap we get over here for reality TV.

I finished the last season of The Great British Baking Show on netflix, unfortunately they only had 3 seasons. I enjoyed the experience. :D

  2. I went and visited my younger brother in the hospital over the weekend. Just got back home a few hours ago. Hes doing better. Still in rough shape but he should pull through this now. As long as the procedure for his stitches goes well tomorrow (so many stitches he'll need anesthesia), he could be out of the hospital by the end of this week.

  3. I went golfing over the weekend for the first time in about 3 years and surprised the hell out of myself by actually making par on 2 par 3 holes. I definitely need to work on my long game. I can hit a 3 wood decent enough by my skill with a driver is atrocious.

  4. I wish amazon would indicate if something is being shipped from out of country. The last 2 items I've purchased were both prime eligible and both gave the impression there would be 2 day shipping, until I get to the checkout and 'free 2 day shipping' has a delivery date of 1 week later. Still no indication as to why until I get the UPS tracking number and find out the item is being shipped from Canada. I haven't had anything from amazon actually arrive in 2 days in over 8 months.

      Honestly no, it's all hypocrisy. We could have a lotto if it went to schools. People are more open to it now. The problem is every time there is a proposal, the government wants it to go into the state general fund... So they can fatten their pockets. So when it gets voted down they do the "the people have spoken and don't want a lotto". -_-;

There is plenty of titty bars and porn/adult toy shops around here. Honestly I don't know how they stay in business when you can order everything discretely online. There was a Asian brothel across from the mall for 20 years running as a "massage parlor". It even had an ad in the paper when newspapers were still viable. XD everyone knew it was a whore house, but I heard they use to give a lot of inside information to law enforcement so they turned a blind eye. A few months ago it closed down and a ton of Asians showed up in the crook book with all the mug shots. I don't know if they do that in your state, but we even have a Facebook page called "Arrested in Mobile" that posts all the mug shots as they get booked. XD

  5. I'll be setting up Facebook, Twitter and steam login options today. Ads will be turned back on over the next day or 2 also. Existing members can link your AC account to those sites if you want or not. Facebook real names will be prohibited and all users must choose a display name to use upon registering with a Facebook account.

  6. I'm 25% done with Uncharted 2 and I've easily died as many times on normal difficulty as I have while playing all of Uncharted 1. The difficulty of normal increased substantially in this game. wtf. O_O I blame the AK-47 for having crap range now compared to the first game. And you have to burst it or it goes completely wild. As soon as I got a FAL, long range shots got much easier. I beat almost all of Uncharted 1 with just the hand gun. Nailing headshots was so easy. Now I can't get headshots worth a damn. Along with all enemies hitting with almost 100% accuracy (wtf), running out from cover against 3 enemies will almost always get you killed. In Uncharted 1 I could just stand there, line up headshots and take an occasional bullet with no fear. Uncharted 2 changes all that. Every bullet fired will hit you almost 100% of the time and every time a bullet connects it throws your aim off with a bit of a stagger effect. The challenge is real and makes the game feel quite different when almost all enemies will flank your position and rush you, while in Uncharted 1 you only had to worry about shotgun guys doing that and dodge roll away from an occasional grenade. I'll get the hang of this tho. lol.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I'm definitely getting the hang of the game now and I'm loving it. The same stagger I get when hit also happens to enemies but even more exaggerated. If theres multiple enemies, its much easier to shoot a bullet at just about everyone to stagger them slightly and then focus one down at a time and if they're bum rushing, just run around and hip fire but never start fist fighting. In Uncharted 1 I could start punching anyone no problem and anyone around me basically watched. But in Uncharted 2 you become a bullet magnet as all enemies will continue shooting the hell out of you while you're stuck in a fighting animation and can't dodge. I also wasn't paying enough attention to the explosive items in the environment. I love propane tanks in this game in the urban area. Throwing a propane tank at 4 enemies and shooting it mid air to kill them all in a fire ball gives me this great feeling of joy. XD

Also, that initial hand gun is crap. The .45 Defender is horrible. About 30% thru the game enemies started dropping 92FS-9mm and everything changed for me. That hand gun and the FAL is my perfect combo right now.

There was a part in this game where I had to take out a Russian Hind helicopter with grenade launchers, I got so many flashbacks to MGS1. This fight was epic. :D I'm not even half way thru this game and its already blown away Uncharted 1.

  7. I'm adopting a cat from the shelter. :D We went there last saturday and picked her out. A little kitten 4 months old. We're waiting to hear back from the place about when to pick her up. They give her full vaccinations, spay and a month of flea treatment. They have to spay her before they can release her to us, so we just gotta wait a few more days to find out when we can get her. They got hit with multiple large hoarding cases recently of saved animals and theres alot of volunteers there now. I hope this shelter doesn't screw this up. We have little cat toys and a new litter pan all ready for her.

      Strider Hiryu

God I'd love to have a cat/kitten but like both of you I'm allergic (and not mildly, I've almost been run to the hospital more than once due to an allergic reaction brought on by a cat). It fucking sucks because cats adore me and always come near me (and I have to pet them because KITTY!). I am thinking of getting a Siberian in the future though pending on whether I can handle their fur or not (they're one of the 5 breeds that don't set off most people allergies that are allergic to cats. Sadly they're also $1200 for a kitten from a breeder).

I can handle dogs fine (though I am mildly allergic). It's a good thing because I get stuck watching my parents dog quite a bit (cute little scamp but annoying as all hell).

  9. I'm going out to vote today. I bet Trump will win NY because Cruz is too religious for the majority of this state. Bernie might win but I hope not. Everyone that is "feeling the Bern" and go out to vote for him will "feel the burn" when they realize all the free crap he's promising is all a pipe dream that will never pass through congress. If he gets to be president it'll be another 4-8 years of Obama 2.0 imo.

    1. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

Honestly we're fucked no matter who wins it's all just a matter of who you're willing to put up with, Obama 2.0 or Trump (both bad choices but who's the lesser evil?).

    2. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Hillary won NY. I don't think we'll get Obama 2.0 with her even tho the media might say that. The biggest issue is congress. Obama wanted big sweeping changes and it ended with congress negating almost everything he said he wanted to do. Bernie would have been the same. Big sweeping changes and 4 years of congress saying no. Even if it was all democrats in the majority I still doubt Sanders would get any major support for the things he wanted to accomplish. Regardless tho, even if Hillary was president, if the majority of congress is still republican nothing would get done again. And democrats are lazy about going to vote in non presidential elections. Within 2 years a big chunk of republicans will take over congress again regardless of the outcome of the elections this year. At least thats the track record for the region I live in. I remember about 5 years ago the republican woman representing my area basically put a stop to a high speed rail plan in upstate NY all by herself because it "would have been a waste of taxpayer money" yeah.. who needs rich NY city ppl jumping on a train for a 2 hour trip to spend money vacationing in the tourist locations by the fingerlakes or going to rochester, buffalo or the rest of the state.. nah. But instead we got wide sweeping tax free land options for a massive area of prime city real estate for corporations.. all while the local people got their property tax jacked up massively. I still think a good chunk of politicians are corrupt and getting payoffs for crap like this.

    3. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

Her path to the WH is going to be a lot more difficult than its being made out to be. Sanders is destroying her in the young vote, there isnt a lot of enthusiasm there for her. Superdelegates are what is helping her win. Republican turn out is breaking records while Dem turnout is down 1/3rd. If the GOP goes to a contested convention and Cruz snivels his way into the nomination it will be Romney all over again with a lot of people staying home on the GOP side. If Trump wins the general he'll only be around for 4 years. He's not going to be like other politicians and will try to steamroll his plan immediately. This will def cause Dems to show up for the next election. Obama had a full dem congress when he got in, but he knew he wouldn't get reelected if he implemented everything he wanted to in his first term. The dude has always intentionally made his announcements on days before holidays, sporting events, weekends and other times people are generally distracted and don't pay attention. If Hillary keeps running on that extreme gun control platform she def will not win. Suing gun manufacturers for crimes other people commit is like suing car companies for drunk drivers. The NRA machine will be out in full force... and they are more massive than ever with Obama's constant threats over the past 5-6 years. She should know better. When the Brady act was sign under Bill Clinton, the dems got mollywhoped in the mid term.

  10. I'm going to upgrade an image handling php extension to the server later this week and change some image settings around to auto resize uploaded images. I might be able to get image uploads from mobile phones working correctly. If so, pictures of my dogs will rain down in these galleries. XD

  11. I'm ordering a new propane smoker tomorrow. To hell with using charcoal anymore. The smoke from burning charcoal and cleaning the ash afterwards over the last couple years has made me realize I can't stand using the crap anymore. It was a good learning experience and I can easily maintain the heat with charcoal, but its too time consuming and it makes a mess. I'm going to start making more jerky and pulled pork. Especially pulled pork. I love doing a double batch and freezing the leftovers. Nothing beats eating an amazing pulled pork sandwich in the middle of winter without having to cook it in 5 feet of snow.

  12. I'm really surprised by the driver support from Nvidia. I'm not used to updating graphics drivers and I just realized that at least 5-8 driver updates have already come out over the last month alone. I guess I'll be updating my graphics drivers after work today.

Thats pretty normal for me. I'm use to seeing one at least every week or so.

  13. I'm sick of winter. This crap needs to end. Another day of driving on snow/ice covered roads in zero degree temps that are so cold the rock salt wont melt anything. Its like every road is made of gravel and my car is bouncing all over the place. At least the tall hill roads are getting treated with strong as hell rock salt of a different blend to ensure melting and to prevent accidents. But all other streets are complete ass to drive on.

  14. I've been rewatching Star Wars Clone Wars on netflix with Lady so she can see it before Disney eventually pulls all their products off netflix. I figure its only a matter of time before Disney launches their own streaming service and netflix probably loses 1/4 of their content.

    1. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

I thought they were going to use Hulu as their platform since they own it. But after looking it up, it seems they'll leave Hulu for the more mature content of 21st Century Fox. It will be curious what will happen with all the Netflix original series deals with the mid tier marvel characters.

    2. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

From what I read a while back I think Netflix will be retaining those series. Although I doubt Marvel would let any of their characters get locked down with another company again. Whatever streaming service Disney makes it'll highly compete with netflix considering the massive amount of content it'll have by default that will never have to leave because of a license expiring. Every fox, disney, marvel, abc, etc. properties. It'll be massive and probably have as much if not more content than netflix on day one of it's launch. In hindsight it makes sense now why netflix has been so aggressively making it's own branded content. Every network has it's own streaming service now. I miss the old days of netflix having everything. I'd love to rewatch Chuck, Farscape, Psych and a bunch of other series that all used to be on netflix. As it is now Netflix hasn't had any of those shows in almost a year.

  15. I've been watching this Comet channel nightly for the last couple weeks. I love this channel now. XD Its what syfy used to be. Its all scifi re-runs. I've been watching Andromeda, Stargate Atlantis and the 1995 Outer Limits series. Most of these shows are in SD, but adjusted to HD. Looks horrible up close but from a distance and while watching in bed its just like the old days. lol. And they have a whole bunch of b movies. XD  http://www.comettv.com/schedule/

  16. It feels like I've had constant appointments for the last month that keep eating into all my free time. Even this week I have at least 3 places to go during work hours causing me to make up time during my free time. x_x Tomorrow I need to go back to the tire shop. I got my summer tires mounted and balanced on thursday and by late saturday afternoon I'm getting a helicopter kind of air sound from my front left tire. "whoosh whoosh whoosh". I thought I had a bearing going, but I got my breaker bar out and sure enough the lug nuts weren't tight. wtf. First time I've ever had this tire place screw up a mounting before and I've been going to them for over 14 years. I tightened them up but I'm still getting a bit of sound while driving. I don't feel like hauling my 3 ton jack out of my basement so I"ll go back there tomorrow. I'm pretty certain they're going to have to lift the car and re-center the tire.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I might end up moving this summer so most of my weekend free time for the past month and a half has been eaten up by constant spring cleaning of my basement and sheds and then putting in 2+ hours of work on the weekends to make up for some appointments during the week. 1 or 2 more weekends and I should be done. x_x

Speaking of that jp, I left my warrior there and when I do my daily login I've been opening that chest every day since you ported him there. XD

Went back to the tire place. Turns out one of the back plates got loose and was hitting a rotor causing noise. The other part of the noise was one of my caliper pins/sides in the front left seized up and caused uneven wear on my rotor which warped it. I needed new brakes and got that done today. Spent $350 on it.  :bleedout: It needed the brakes tho and I'm surprised it passed yearly inspection with them in that condition considering to fully stop the car I'd have to push the brake pedal down past the gas pedal and almost touch the floor. This car runs like new now that I dropped $1400 on it over this past month. My gas mileage is even much better. I was averaging 26 mpg, and now its getting 36 mpg.

  17. Jessica Jones season 2 is decent so far. I only have a few episodes left but I don't see how the show will ever be better than season 1 simply because of David Tennant's performance as Killgrave. He was Dr. Who for years and it's amazing to see him be somebody so evil and cruel as that character and nail it like he's always played evil bastards.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I finished the season. It was good but season 1 was still the best. If they make a season 3 I hope focus on some major enemy for her to fight. This season seemed a bit slow at parts and felt a bit to much like any origin story for a character that has already been established.

  18. Just a heads up. Our old Spoiler tag no longer works. x_x I'll work on getting a new bbcode for that.

PSN is working for me, just MP is down. It's amazing how these fuckers are going to ruin every major launch just because they can. I hope they all get a terminal disease and die a slow horrible death. They deserve that much for being so petty and childish.

  20. LoTR Fellowship of the Rings is such a slow book. The battle of five armies in The Hobbit was only around 40 pages. In Fellowship, I'm 80 pages in and Frodo is still in the process of leaving the shire.. wtf. I'm glad the movies skipped 90% of this. Nobody would watch the movie if 2 hours was dedicated to him attending his estate while waiting on Gandalf to finally show back up 15 years after telling Frodo to keep the ring safe. Roughly 15 years he was gone.. wtf. In the movies, its like he went and made a cell phone call and came right back all worried. In the book its a boring Hobbit's life with Frodo eventually taking care of his belongings, selling his house, getting his affairs in order, getting some breakfast with Sam, etc. x_x

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Thanks for the warning about the silmarillion. After reading the hobbit I was interested in getting more of his books but after reading the first 20 pages of notes, etc. that is the prologue of fellowship and then the first 80 pages of the book, Tolkien has almost burned me out in 100 pages. X_x All the hobbit lore in that prologue was all pointless details to me that add nothing to the plot. It completely lines up with what you said tho. It's all world building. This guy is more detail oriented in his writing than Peter Straub. However there is one part of the notes that really intrigued me. Tolkien, in response to critics saying his books was a metaphor for his experience in the war, gave an example of an alternate version of LoTR if it was. In the alternate version Sauron would have gotten the ring back and Saruman would have created his own ring of power and their two armies would have raged war against each other for control of middle earth. That would have been cool. Lol.

    2. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

Meh, that was mostly there for those who hadn't read The Hobbit before getting into LOTR (I know I hadn't read The Hobbit before I read LOTR, was a nice little intro into what happened before the events currently taking place).

Don't get me wrong some of Tolkien's best work is in The Silmarillion (in fact it is my favorite book out of everything he's written) but like I said its a pain to read through all of it. I actually like that Tolkien took the time to actually set up his world and give us the details, it made it feel more alive). Too many books these days don't take the time to do that and just throw you into the fray without even a "Hey, this is whats kinda going on just so you know". Shit just wait until you get to the appendices in The Return of the King (if your copy has it, mine did). There is so much information on who's who, the elven language (which is actually a language, Tolkien was a Linguist), another few pages of story not mentioned in the book proper (like the Grey Havens scene from the movie, what happened after Sam and Frodo got back to the Shire, what Pippin and Merry were up to after everything, etc), and so much more (The Silmarillion has something similar but its not as bad).

Reading Tolkien is a huge commitment and is something I learned the hard way back when I first started reading his work. If you can put up with the amount of information he throws at you the reward is well worth the boredom.

    3. Sledgstone

  21. My car is screwed up. :crap: It has an overheating issue but it doesn't show it as an issue. The radiator fan wont turn on unless my AC or heater is on. No check engine light or anything. After a long diagnosis at a dealership, they've concluded that the computer in the car itself is failing and needs to be replaced. Never had that happen to a car before. Its a hefty bill to get that swapped out. I could go cheap and buy a used part off ebay for $30-100 but I don't see the point when theres no way to test the damn things accurately considering mine is reading as functioning normally. wtf. :( Instead of trading in the car, I'll foot the $1k bill next week when the get the part in. I really don't want another car payment at this point.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Good luck with your car Strider. I used to do all my own car maintenance, but this toyota has been so damn good the last 7 years I've only had to get the front brakes done once.

Normally I'd agree that the dealerships are rip offs, most of the time they are. But this toyota dealership I go to has been very reliable. The only thing that really seems marked up is the labor. I used to do all my own brake jobs, I'd buy high quality pads for $30+ and rotors for $30 a piece. So for about $100 I'd do my own front brakes, but I'd have to do them at least once every 2 1/2 years because of the amount of driving I was doing at the time. But after putting on a crap load of miles on my corolla and having the front brakes last roughly 4 years, I decided to pay the extra cash for the OEM brake pads and rotors since they last twice as long as the aftermarket ones. The price for those in parts was a bit over double, $230. I was having some health issues and since it was winter (I have no garage), I had the dealership do the work. Ended up charging me $160 in labor. $500 for a brake job seems pretty steep to me compared to getting it done somewhere else for $200, but the parts are double the life span (at least they are for toyota, never seemed to be the case with any GM vehicle I ever owned). This ECU unit is going to cost me $600 for the part. I could save $500 buying a used one, but I'm hesitant because it could have some issue as well. But for the full $1k they quoted me, that also includes replacing the thermostat ($75 part). Roughly $325 in labor total for both parts. I could probably get the bill knocked down to $500 going to another mechanic and getting a used ECU, but I'm also planning on making multiple 18 hour round trips to ohio over the next couple years. x_x If I was just driving around locally I'd probably go with the cheaper option, but it feels like I'd be better off with the more expensive route for the peace of mind. :crap:

    2. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

After getting screwed around with for the last 2 weeks with the dealership not getting the part in, my car has finally been fixed. They did have to replace the ECU and the thermostat. I need to do some more test driving to make sure the car truely isn't overheating anymore. So far so good tho. The car is running smoother, quieter and idles better at least. I called up a couple places to get quotes last week. 2 places wouldn't do the ECU and told me I'd have to go to the dealership but Firestone would. They quoted me $860 before tax for the entire job. x_x Not much savings over the dealership. In the end it costed me $1100 with tax for the ECU, thermostat, oil change and labor at the dealership. I went with them in the end since it comes with a full 1 year parts and labor warranty. If I have anymore issues with these 2 parts they'll replace them again free of charge for the first year. They also gave me a free rental car for the last 3 days while they waited on the ECU to get delivered to them. This crap was costly as hell, but at least I wont have another car payment. I hope thats the end of my car issues for a while. *crosses fingers*

2 days after my last post about this issue my car's check engine light came back on. -_-; Long story short, I bitched to the dealership and my car has been there for the last week. Probably because of the cost of the repair work and the fact that they don't want negative reviews online I have had a free rental car for the last 8 days while they trouble shooted the problem with my car. Turns out they put the wrong thermostat in my car because for some reason there are 3 different versions for my vehicle type depending on where the car was manufactured or some crap. They apparently didn't get the right thermostat shipped to them even tho they re-ordered the same one they previously replaced 8 months ago. Then that thermostat also failed which caused them to realize the coolant temp sensor was also malfunctioning by being off by over 15 degrees. They then replaced the temp sensor and the thermostat again and now the car is running fine. I picked it up today. Finally. x_x They didn't charge me for the rental, or the temp sensor or the extra thermostats. They even gave me a $50 credit because the thermostat replacement should have been covered by their warranty to begin with. The ECU was failing and did need to be replaced since it wasn't sending the signal to the radiator fan to begin with either. After picking up my car and driving it home today, it feels like I'm driving a new car again. It idles alot smoother now at stop signs and while parked. Hopefully this is completely fixed now. *knocks on wood*

The guy at the dealership jokingly said if I end up having to call him back because of this issue again he'll quit his job. XD He also said the head mechanic never wants to see my car again if at all possible. XD

  22. My little puppy Elsa had her spay surgery today. Shes all tired and pathetic looking with her cone on. :(

  23. My new graphics card is working great so far. I'll be testing games and taking some screenshots of my GW2 characters this weekend. :D I had no idea that characters were supposed to have shadows. XD

Lol. XD I'm going to do more testing with steam streaming and my steam link to see if I can use steam to stream gw2 in full quality from my pc to my laptop. If it works I could grind at max settings on my laptop. :D I know it'll work like that for all my steam games but I don't know yet if I can get gw2 working like that with the steam overlay.

Did a AB mutlimap probably for the last time I had a chance to do it. I hope they patch this. Its killing the prices of rares and exotics on the TP. I now know why just about every exotic is around 80s with 40s buy orders. Some rares are only worth 20s now. So in actuality the mutlimap isn't very profitable anymore, and its dragging down the profitability of everything else.

At least flax and iron are still profitable. I never understood anet's logic of the reward being so massive in AB. Even world bosses are a single chest and maybe a couple bouncy ones in the corner.. AB gives out so many chests it takes almost as long to open all the chests and deal with the contents as it does to actually do the event. Thats crazy.

  24. My new kitten Maggie is not giving me an ounce of privacy or free time. x_x We have been slowly integrating her in with our dogs and after the last couple days they seem to be getting along just fine now. We had to take her to the vet a few days ago to check her spay operation from the shelter. It was slightly infected. -_-; She got antibiotics, a fresh staple and has had a cone on her head since then and it won't come off for another week. She likes to knock over everything and almost spilled my glass of water on my laptop. x_x

Exactly. XD Thankfully she is showing no interest in electronic cables unless they are in her way. x_x But she has a fascination for anything white. She has tried to destroy both of my white ear bud sets, has attacked white shoe laces and knocked over a bunch of my work papers and proceeded to bite the papers until I threw a toy for her. x_x

  25. My OCD has gotten the better of me again. I've been marathoning Guild Wars 2 so I can finish making the legendary raven staff Nevermore. The process of making this has so many parts and is so time consuming. I'm definitely finishing this now. Its definitely the most difficult and time consuming thing I've done in this game but its making me feel a real connection to the weapon. When I see other ppl that have it I'll know they went on that same journey. Its a pretty cool feeling. Its a bit of a shame the newer legendary weapons won't be made in the same way, but if they were I know I wouldn't put this much time into another one. The tier 4 collection is crazy.. I got a Raven egg, imbued it with power from numerous places, made an incubation chamber, hatched it and now I'm feeding it and teaching it to fly by doing specific events with alot of gliding. This is a cool experience. :D Once I'm done raising it, it'll actually become part of my living weapon. :D

Nier and ME have been relaxing after I grinded out machined weapons. I'm taking a break until LWS3. I'll get in some SAB here and there, but that took a toll on me.

I finished up my Gift of the Raven. I still have to turn it into the Gift of Nevermore which isn't difficult at all at this point. I wanted that part done before SAB started. I hope they patched the exploit of selling tribulation runs. They allowed the selling of trib runs last year but said they would patch it. Since they allowed it I went ahead and bought all the runs of world 2 that I needed to get all the green weapon skins and the red SAB infusion. If its not patched I might feel torn about buying all the runs I'd need for the yellow skins just to get the blue SAB infusion.. I'd feel torn about it because I'm a bit burned out on infusions now, but the blue one would actually look decent with my fractal back piece. XD But I also have just enough gold left to finish Nevermore.. lol. I hope it's patched. XD

Make sure to do your daily 3 SAB events like last year for the multiple daily meta achieve. I got a late start on it last year and only got 1 of the kaiser weapon skins. If we do the SAB daily every day this festival we should be able to get at least 2 kaiser / crimson skins. I'm really interested in seeing what the big SAB reward track chest will have for pvp or wvw. If the finisher is in there as a reward I'll start doing my pvp again.

I'm glad I finished Nevermore and got my Daredevil equipped with it. So many Spirit Raven effects on critical hits. I love it. XD
