  1. My little puppy Elsa had her spay surgery today. Shes all tired and pathetic looking with her cone on. :(

  2. I made a legendary greatsword today in Guild Wars 2, Sunrise.. and then I combined it with my Twilight and made the most expensive greatsword in the game, Eternity. :D

On a side note, I visited the GW2 forums today out of curiosity since I haven't been in forever. Its so funny to see how Thief is talked about like Necros were for the longest time, Necro is loved and adored now. XD If only Ele got knocked off their perch it would be amazing. Even on reddit when someone asks what class to play, the Ele mains come chiming in with their ele master race blah blah. Ah I got to experience what it was like to be at the top for 3 days with #SymbolicAvenger #Guardsway2015. XD

Lol. Ever since I stopped playing pvp I stopped looking at the official forums. I remember the warrior forum being salty for a year but now the condi warrior is good again.. but only in pvp unless we get accessories with stats only obtainable from LSW2 achievements or from the raid. Imagine if berserker stats accessories were only available by completing every jumping puzzle in the game instead of from the laurel vendor. -_-; anet needs to rethink what they consider rewards.

Ele is probably still the best because you only need one build for it to be strong. As a warrior I have to keep swapping my build depending on what content I play because warrior traits are a mess. Most of the time if I'm solo I'll stick with one build, but if I'm in a dungeon I keep swapping between 2 trait lines and re-equipping my warhorn depending on if one part requires skipping mobs.

I would recommend reaper for everyone. Just set it with berserker stats and have fun.

  3. I ordered some stuff from amazon last week and signed up for the free month of amazon prime, mostly because "prime day" is tomorrow. I remember prime day last year.. I missed nothing. XD

Eh.. In the end I didn't buy anything on prime day. Nothing really jumped out at me as something I must buy that day. I bet the majority of the sales were people that buy discounted items and then relist them on ebay. This is becoming so common that its worse than the GW2 trading post. All the newest graphics cards are instantly bought and relisted on ebay for $100 more than what the person bought it for.

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

They just had a bunch of crap that I didn't need. Doom for $29 was tempting... but nothing else really went on sale. When I found stuff that interested me it was some lame $5-10 off deal, while other things were 30-50% off. They also made it really difficult to search prime deals only by category or via the search function.

    3. Sledgstone

I hated trying to find anything for sale. It was almost impossible. It was like hanging out at Walmart all day but not being able to browse and instead have some guy announcing to everyone that bulk packages of pop tarts, an exercise bicycle and women's speed stick were all on sale for the next 20 minutes and we'd get an update again on more sales soon. Screw that selling strategy.

  4. I beat Uncharted 3 today. It was a good game and it was quite visually impressive on many occasions. But overall it felt like uncharted 2 was a much more enjoyable game to me. 2 was full of constant action, exploring and adventure. While 3 felt more like I was always trying to escape from somewhere instead of exploring. Different parts of the game didn't tie together well for me and left many plot lines unanswered that would be irrelevant in a sequel considering how the game ended.

I do look forward to playing uncharted 4 but I'll wait to pick it up on black Friday.

  5. I got the Galaxy S7 today. Bestbuy has a good deal this weekend. $49 with 2 year contract with Verizon and free wireless charger. So far I'm impressed with the quality of the phone over my old S4. I haven't tried the wireless charger yet. I doubt I'll use it much and I have a feeling it won't work correctly with the otter box case I'm using.

25 hours after my first charge and I'm down to 13% battery. I've been using this phone all day to. My old phone would have needed to charge over 12 hours ago. Not bad.

    2. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

I keep my phone usage to a minimum if possible and only really use it to check email, Twitter, and Instagram when I'm not home near a charger (and my computer) hence why I tend to get good battery life out of my phones. If I actually did what I've been doing over the last three months of being unemployed I'd probably have to charge it three times a day (I've been playing a lot of mobile games and I mean a lot). Signal strength around here is hit or miss but we've got two 4G towers in the area and Verizon has pretty good coverage out here in Western ND (the only one, AT&T sucks out here and Sprint/T-Mobile don't even have coverage in my area) but my old Droid Bionic had a hard time getting a connection which really drained my battery while I was at work (for some reason Walmart out here was like a dead zone for that phone).

I use Samsung's built in app/task killing service now. I used to use TasKiller on my old phones that did a good job but since the last major Android update (not the newest one where my phone switched to Marshmallow) it fucked that app up and it doesn't work anymore. Samsung's service does a damn good job of keeping my battery life up (plus I have my phone in power saving mode and have my screen brightness turned almost all the way down) and actually kills the right apps/tasks, where TasKiller liked to kill everything. I honestly don't know what Samsung phones have the service built in (I'm assuming everything from the Note 4 up but I'm not entirely sure) but I'm assuming yours might (unless it's a Note only feature but I highly doubt that).

    3. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I dug into everything installed on my S7 and for some damn reason Verizon removed the "smart manager" samsung app from their build. Wtf Verizon. -_-; after looking in YouTube it's the exact app I would prefer to use for battery optimization and Verizon doesn't have it available. I do like the fact that bloatware is very minimal on this phone. My S4 had so much pre-installed crap that was only disableable and not Uninstallable that those apps would take up way to much space and would run in the background all the time. But this S7 only had 1 app I had to disable  (NFL), aside from that all the "galaxy essential" apps are located in a widget and it gives me the option to actually download and install them now instead of having it all preloaded. I looked thru those apps and there isn't a single thing I want except maybe the Samsung video player. It's nice to have a boy more control over my phone, but then I see the smart manager was removed. Ehhh. These companies are trying to encourage ppl to not root their phones and install a custom / unbranded android OS by not having shit tons of preloaded apps, but they need to keep all default apps available to. I hate knowing there are great features available for my model of phone.. but not mine specifically.

  6. I played a round and a half of BF4 conquest last night with my brother to start getting prepared for BF1. I forgot how fun the game can be with a good teammate. He jumped on recon and laser designated while I javelined some helicopters and boats. I'll be playing some more BF4 rounds here and there. If you see me on, feel free to jump on or send me a message to team up. :D

  7. PSN is having a flash sale this weekend. I just bought the tell tale walking dead micchone game for ps4 for just under $6.

If its anything like the standard TWD game its not for me. I still need to play through it on steam. A friend let me borrow the Xbox 360 version and after the initial car crash scene and 1st house, I turned it off. The controller was too frustrating for a point and click game.

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

Its not for me on a console is what I meant.

    3. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I haven't tried it yet but I think it is. It's a bit annoying to move the cursor on the screen fast enough to respond to something. It would be better on pc for that reason alone, but I got used to it pretty quick on ps4. Maybe the speed of the cursor was bugged on the 360 version. I was disappointed these tell tale games didn't take advantage of the touch pad on the ps4 controller. It could easily work like a laptop TouchPad mouse and there isn't a single game on the ps4 that utilizes it like that.

  8. Uncharted 2 was a great game. I regret never playing these games when they first come out. I had no idea Sony had such an amazing series. I haven't enjoyed a game like this in years. Sure, Last of Us and Tomb Raider are amazing games too, but they were much more serious than Uncharted 2. The action and humor was a perfect mix and this series is straight up fun. And so many explosions. :D

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Uncharted 2 made Uncharted 1 look like a tech demo. Its still decent enough to play through to get to know the 3 main characters a bit because they're in the rest of the series tho. But Uncharted 2 is significantly better.

Btw there is a cool friends feature on these games. It keeps track of all your friends stats and when you get near certain milestones it'll pop up a notice at the bottom right of the screen to compare your stats to your friends. When you get around to playing them again you'll see how many headshots or stealth kills I've done and that'll give you some encouragement to beat my totals. :P One of my friends played Uncharted 2.. right before the last boss I headshotted some guy and the game did a stat pop up and I saw that my friend had 2 more headshots than me. I killed one more guy with a headshot, then boom, final boss. his headshot count will be higher than me by 1 kill. good for him. damn him. lol.

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

Yeah, your bro was popping up a lot while I played Uncharted 1. lol

      Sledgstone

lol. yep, same for me. But then I noticed his name disappeared for the second one, I asked him the other day and he never got around to playing it yet. But he enjoyed it so much that he has beaten it at least twice on the PS3. He said he almost beat it on hard difficulty but couldn't get it done on the last stage. That speaks volumes to me. If he couldn't beat it on hard mode and theres still 2 more difficulties above that, thats insane. The hardest difficulty probably requires you to never get shot once or you die instantly.

  9. I finished "Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet" on netflix last night. The first episode was some of the best mech anime I've ever seen. I wish the entire series was like the first episode. Then it turned into a 'slice-of-life' anime for about 7 episodes. -_-; After an unnerving loli dance scene in which every guy over 40 was drunk and wooing at 10 year old girls dancing I was done with it (seriously japan? is this what japanese men want? wtf.). But then I looked at the episode descriptions for the final episodes and I stuck with it. The final 3 eps were great and had good action. If you want to see some good mech battles, watch the first and last 3 or 4 eps of this series. All the episodes in between are just filler crap to establish some sense of loyalty between the mech pilot and the group of people on the gargantia. And of course to forge a typical anime relationship of: "i love this guy i just met and even tho we've only known each other for less than 2 weeks, you need to stay with us for life!"

The amusement park ep of Haganai season two was so hilarious. XD I think the harem worked because Kodaka wasn't a mega perv and outside of Rika there was very little sexual frustration. Plus fan service was limited. The show stayed focused on the story and each character's plight.

    2. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

You gotta remember Sledge the Slice of Life genre is pretty much the "Cute girls doing cute things" genre so high school aged characters will always be present (and generally cute girls as mentioned). I guess that doesn't draw that many people in but it does me and I do understand the frustration of it being focused on this age group (it's why I have a hatred of harem series). My all time favorite series falls into this genre, Aria (I can't recommend this series enough. It's not everyone's cup of tea but the show is amazing (so is the manga), has amazing character development (but it is centered around high school age girls), and the art and music is just amazing. I re-watch this series at least twice a year (by far one of the best purchases I've made anime wise)). Plus you also have to realize that these shows are aimed at high schoolers and the Japanese Otaku hence why we see so many shows featuring protagonists around that age category (for some reason it's a major hit over there, so are idol based anime (which I can't understand why it's important, then again the Japanese have a thing with idol worship). They don't care what us Americans have to say on the subject as anime isn't as big over here as it was back in the Toonami era (original run). Anime fandom has died down over here (though it has been seeing a resurgence in the last 2-3 years but it'll never be as big as it was originally).

Heh, I started reading Berserk like 4 years ago but I haven't made it past volume 9 yet. While its a great read (and I do plan on reading the rest of what I have (up to volume 35)) I doubt he'll ever finish it (much like Five Star Stories, I don't think that manga will ever end (it was on a 10 year or so hiatus and the creator just started picking it up again recently). It's one of the longest running manga's to date time wise (13 volumes so far and it started in 1986)). Then again I don't think Rei Hiroe will ever finish Black Lagoon (it's been stuck at volume 10 for like 2 years (pretty much right after the Roberta's Blood Trail arc, which is so much better in the manga. The anime adaptation of it didn't do Roberta any justice)).

I've got a dislike for HorribleSubs and only really use them if I have no choice (I'm not a fan of Crunchyroll's translations which is what Horrible uses for their releases). I'll probably pick that torrent up but god knows when I'm going to have time to sit down and watch 700 episodes (then again I'll probably only pick up the Marineford Arc. I haven't read or seen it but I've seen so many character tribute videos and music videos about this arc that I want to see it in it's entirety. I really want to see Whitebeard kick some ass (I don't know why but I seriously like this character though I know very little about him)).

That was a great episode XD Honestly Kodaka was a great change from the normal protagonist you usually get in harem shows. Down to earth, slightly pervy, and all around great guy who generally cares for his friends well being (I find it funny that he's pretty much a homemaker). If it wasn't for Rika I don't think the show would really have any sexual frustration or fan service (yea Sena still provides plenty of it but Rika is by far the worst for it). Then again the show wouldn't be the same without her if they took her out. My major draw to the show when I started watching it was the sad premise it had, grouping up people who have no friends or social skills. Not only did it provide some great humor (good god the ideas for how to make friends were hilarious) it provided a look into the anti-social tendencies most children and teenagers face these days.

    3. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

If you have the Berserk manga, I'd still definitely recommend reading it. But dive in knowing you'll never get an ending and you won't be as disappointed. There are quite a few arcs that see full completion in those volumes so it is a great read. The tower of conviction arc (i think thats what it is) was the best part of the series to me. And I just found out that arc will be in the new anime. That will probably spawn alot of new fans of the series, but will cause even more disappointment when all the new fans learn they'll never get an ending, or even at a minimum finally see Casca become sane again. Many people only think of Berserk from the original anime with a messed up ending. But the band of the hawk arc that was in the anime is nothing compared to the rest of the series. The Berserker armor the show is named after has never even been in the anime or anime movies.

If you want to pick and choose some good One Piece to watch, I highly recommend the marineford arc, then keep watching the eps after because thats when the time skip occurs. The fishman island arc after that was great too because it shows an entire new culture.. and alot of mermaids. :P

  11. I'm 25% done with Uncharted 2 and I've easily died as many times on normal difficulty as I have while playing all of Uncharted 1. The difficulty of normal increased substantially in this game. wtf. O_O I blame the AK-47 for having crap range now compared to the first game. And you have to burst it or it goes completely wild. As soon as I got a FAL, long range shots got much easier. I beat almost all of Uncharted 1 with just the hand gun. Nailing headshots was so easy. Now I can't get headshots worth a damn. Along with all enemies hitting with almost 100% accuracy (wtf), running out from cover against 3 enemies will almost always get you killed. In Uncharted 1 I could just stand there, line up headshots and take an occasional bullet with no fear. Uncharted 2 changes all that. Every bullet fired will hit you almost 100% of the time and every time a bullet connects it throws your aim off with a bit of a stagger effect. The challenge is real and makes the game feel quite different when almost all enemies will flank your position and rush you, while in Uncharted 1 you only had to worry about shotgun guys doing that and dodge roll away from an occasional grenade. I'll get the hang of this tho. lol.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I'm definitely getting the hang of the game now and I'm loving it. The same stagger I get when hit also happens to enemies but even more exaggerated. If theres multiple enemies, its much easier to shoot a bullet at just about everyone to stagger them slightly and then focus one down at a time and if they're bum rushing, just run around and hip fire but never start fist fighting. In Uncharted 1 I could start punching anyone no problem and anyone around me basically watched. But in Uncharted 2 you become a bullet magnet as all enemies will continue shooting the hell out of you while you're stuck in a fighting animation and can't dodge. I also wasn't paying enough attention to the explosive items in the environment. I love propane tanks in this game in the urban area. Throwing a propane tank at 4 enemies and shooting it mid air to kill them all in a fire ball gives me this great feeling of joy. XD

Also, that initial hand gun is crap. The .45 Defender is horrible. About 30% thru the game enemies started dropping 92FS-9mm and everything changed for me. That hand gun and the FAL is my perfect combo right now.

There was a part in this game where I had to take out a Russian Hind helicopter with grenade launchers, I got so many flashbacks to MGS1. This fight was epic. :D I'm not even half way thru this game and its already blown away Uncharted 1.

  12. I started Starcraft 2 tonight. I'm only did the first 2 prologue missions and I quickly remembered just how bad I am playing as Protoss. X_x

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I loved a full carrier build with Protoss whenever I used them before. I've done some more missions and the Spear of Adun upgrades make Protoss OP. lol. I pumped all my solarite into the middle upgrades to increase build time and initial supply. And the remaining solarite goes to the vespine gas auto assumulator function. That is the most convenient upgrade ever. Gas in the second prologue mission was a pain and now I never even think about gas again. Along with upgrading all my gateways into warpgates, these Protoss have incredibly fast build rates with crazy power. O_O Warp gates make all the difference. It lowers the build time of all the powerful units to be the same as zealots. Thats nuts. I use the Spear of Adun's pylon deployment and then instant warp in half an army on demand. I've gotten used to making 3 warp gates now and I have a constant flood of new troops. I'll attack some enemy base, drop a pylon at the edge of it, warp in reinforcements and I win every fight with ease now on normal difficulty.

I don't even use stalkers anymore. I go with the dragoons because their upgrade requires no involvement from me and the stalkers need me to blink them around to get their shield regen. I ain't got time to micro manage that. XD My build order so far as turned into making 2 warp gates as fast as possible and making a bunch of zealots and dragoons and then make a 3rd warp gate and dark templar statue thing and getting some dark templars. I just got the stargate and robotics buildings unlocked so once I get carriers available I'm sure I'll change up some of my strategy.

    2. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

I'm thinking I'm going to have to ditch Stalkers myself after the mission to obtain the Keystone (yea, I'm just getting to Shakuras to get the Dark Templar (I'm doing a mission a day)). Stalkers are just so freaking weak and hybrids tear through them like they're nothing (then again Dragoons weren't all that powerful either in the original Starcraft). I'm loving Immortals though, anti-hybrid weapons if I've ever seen them. I'm also thinking of going over the the DT version of zealots. I love the new warglaive zealots alot, especially with their whirlwind ability but they just don't seem as fast as their original forms.

The increased build time and increased starting capacity are a necessity and I went straight for them as well (I'm ok with the first two SoA abilities so I see no need to go further for now). Gateways are a god send, without them I'd of gotten my ass handed to me more then once in these beginning missions. The ability to warp in units where ever you have a Pylon is amazing, Blizzard really showed the Toss some love in this game. I'm really liking this games play style so much more then WoL and HoS (both great systems in their own right) but I'm just loving how the Protoss work (and the fact that we get a massive ship to help us out). I just wish they'd of released this earlier but that's just my Protoss Master Race side speaking (they've always been my favorite faction in SC).

    3. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I'm also trying to do one mission a night until the weekend, but didn't have the time last night to get my mission in. The Sentinel zealot upgrade seems pretty damn nice. Auto rebuild looks quite effective, but I'm still using the auir zealots with their whirlwind ability. They seem to destroy crap so much faster that I don't have to worry about them dying as often. I'm sticking with them atm because it feels like a berserker strategy, kill the enemies before they kill you and its working out good for me so far.

I upgraded my Immortals to Annihilators and never looked back. Screw having double shields when I can go full offensive. The Annihilator's cannon attack can hit air or ground units and is OP as all hell. XD It makes terrain tanks look weak in comparison now and these things don't have to go into siege mode. I have to micro manage that cannon, but with the damage those units do, its worth it. A couple of these in my zerg and they take out hybrids in seconds.

I need to re-learn some keyboard shortcuts. I figured out a couple days ago that I can hit tab while commanding a large group to swap between the different units in that group. That makes micro managing so much easier. Now when I go into a fight, I tab over to the sentries and pop their shields, tab over to my templars for their lightning attack, tab over to my annihilators to shadow cannon big targets. I'm going to look up a couple more keyboard techniques on youtube to make my experience more enjoyable. I'm having a blast with this game. :D

  13. I played the original Uncharted on PS3 and I'm playing the remaster now on PS4 so I can refresh my memory before I jump into Uncharted 2 and then 3. I found something out last night. If you shoot an enemy a couple times and then punch them to finish them off you get 1 of 3 unique kill animations. 1 is a roundhouse punch to the face that knocks the guy on his ass, another is a drop kick kill and my favorite and most frequent kill is a slide between / under the enemy's legs and punch them in the balls while sliding. XD I love killing people by punching them in the balls now. XD I never knew this was a thing the first time I played the game. XD Oh.. and hip firing while running auto targets enemies. This is so much easier my second time playing this. And grenades seem way easier to get kills with now. I'm going to have to try to dick punch people in the other uncharted games next. XD

    1. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

I'm about 70% through the first one. The jet skiing up river part really pissed me off with bad design. Actually all the wave runner areas are bad with insane amount of explosive barrels. You'd be better riding on a slow boat and shooting them. The wave runner is pointless because if you try to run through it you'll just die from enemies shooting them as you go by.

    2. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

      I hated that part on the PS3 and I hated it again on the PS4. I just got through the last wave rider part and what a pain in the ass it can be. The last part is impossible to just go thru fast because the three enemies will rip you to shreds with bullets. you have to go slow on the last part and pick them and the barrels off with Elena's gun. The first couple jet ski parts aren't difficult at all considering Elena has an endless grenade gun that explodes everything on impact. XD But then the last ski part is 20x more difficult with the waves and you only have a crappy hand gun. -_-;

    3. Sledgstone

I finished Uncharted 1 tonight. Running while hip firing is so vital in the last 5 or so chapters of the game. I still don't understand stealth in this game. I got only 1 stealth kill ever. I swear every enemy knows my exact location as long as I'm within 20 feet of them. I could be behind a wall, see a guy walk away, start walking slowly behind them and that guy will shout "there he is!", then turn around and shotgun me. eh. Other than that its still a fun game. Those last 5 chapters turns the difficultly up huge tho. I beat it on normal, screw the last quarter of the game on higher difficulties than that. x_x

  16. I told myself I wasn't going to buy a game any time soon, but I went and bought StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void. It was $10 off today and I couldn't hold myself back. :D I'm going to marathon this game soon. But I'm still planning on trying out Overwatch this weekend and I still have this last fractal mission challenge hanging on me like a monkey on my back weighing me down. lol.

Looks like Battlefield 5 will be announced the same day as the new generation of graphics cards. :D Once these cards get announced I'll be watching current gen card prices drop and finally get my new card. :D

Battlefield always sets the benchmark on graphics. Running 60 players on a map with multiple vehicles and stunning visuals is def a chore. XD

  18. Background picker is now functioning. I'll change the background pics this weekend after I edit a couple.

  19. MYSQL crashed on the server. First time I've seen that happen in almost a year.

  20. MAD TV spoofed President Donald Trump years ago..

Trump's composure is pretty much the same as "drunken president"

    XD

  21. I made my gift of bolt tonight. If I can't get this back piece within a week, I'll make bolt instead and give fractals a break for a while. Maybe the guild will start up a fractal night again or mix it in with a dungeon night.

I just need to run AC to make gift of lightning and I can toss everything into the forge. X_x I should be asleep, but I had to get artificer up to 400.. ugh the guide was so boring because all the potions. I blew all my laurels and karma to get the obsidian shards... I'm going to be dead broke in gold and mats for a while.

You must have been up half the night leveling up that crafting. Even with the guides every crafting profession took me at least 2-3 hours each to level up. I still need to finish my last 2% of world completion to make bolt. I might just make it this weekend because as soon as I don't have a gift of fortune, thats when I'll get that last piece I need for the back piece and I'll have to wait 2 months to finish it. lol.

  22. I finished watching Star Wars Clone Wars the animated series. I find it hard to believe that Disney kept this as canon. There were a handful of episodes that literally seem to throw alot of movie canon right out the window. I'll have to post a topic about it once I get some references together. I'm trying to catch up on everything that is considered actual true canon now in the new Star Wars universe and this clone wars series really boggles my mind with some of the really dumb things that happened. Overall it was a great series tho and had so much killing in it for a kids show. holy crap. There were even some decapitations. Surprised the hell out of me for a kid's cartoon. XD

Never could actually get into this show and from what little I've seen and heard about (watch a lot of Star Wars youtube videos) it is quite funny how this is cannon (then again Lucas declared it canon when he still had control over it). I hear Rebels is quite out there too (again wouldn't know since I haven't watched it).

I know they visit Malachor in rebels and refer to the events mentioned KOTOR 2 about the Jedi civil war. Funny since what was left of the planet was destroyed at the end of the game.

I started watching Rebels when it first came out but then missed enough eps that I dropped it before the first season ended. I'll watch it again to see how the canon is treated in it. One thing I remember being incredibly dumb is the slingshot energy weapon the kid had. Why have a slingshot that you have to manually pull to shoot when a blaster is 1000% more efficient, is faster to fire, takes up the same amount of space and can be used with one hand? So stupid. lol.

  23. Guild Wars 2 spring update has got my interest. I must get that fractal back piece. :dizzy:

The Ranger sword is amazing now. S/A is just beastly. I'm so happy they fixed that. I took my ascended sword away from my mesmer and gave it to my ranger. XD I want bolt now.

My full ascended armor is complete. My agony resistance gold sink is done too. All thats left is to get some more fractal relics and I'll have full AR for that fractal 100 boss fight. All I've done the last 2 evenings is craft. Starting tomorrow I can actually resume playing. XD

  24. I'm going out to vote today. I bet Trump will win NY because Cruz is too religious for the majority of this state. Bernie might win but I hope not. Everyone that is "feeling the Bern" and go out to vote for him will "feel the burn" when they realize all the free crap he's promising is all a pipe dream that will never pass through congress. If he gets to be president it'll be another 4-8 years of Obama 2.0 imo.

    1. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

Honestly we're fucked no matter who wins it's all just a matter of who you're willing to put up with, Obama 2.0 or Trump (both bad choices but who's the lesser evil?).

    2. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Hillary won NY. I don't think we'll get Obama 2.0 with her even tho the media might say that. The biggest issue is congress. Obama wanted big sweeping changes and it ended with congress negating almost everything he said he wanted to do. Bernie would have been the same. Big sweeping changes and 4 years of congress saying no. Even if it was all democrats in the majority I still doubt Sanders would get any major support for the things he wanted to accomplish. Regardless tho, even if Hillary was president, if the majority of congress is still republican nothing would get done again. And democrats are lazy about going to vote in non presidential elections. Within 2 years a big chunk of republicans will take over congress again regardless of the outcome of the elections this year. At least thats the track record for the region I live in. I remember about 5 years ago the republican woman representing my area basically put a stop to a high speed rail plan in upstate NY all by herself because it "would have been a waste of taxpayer money" yeah.. who needs rich NY city ppl jumping on a train for a 2 hour trip to spend money vacationing in the tourist locations by the fingerlakes or going to rochester, buffalo or the rest of the state.. nah. But instead we got wide sweeping tax free land options for a massive area of prime city real estate for corporations.. all while the local people got their property tax jacked up massively. I still think a good chunk of politicians are corrupt and getting payoffs for crap like this.

Her path to the WH is going to be a lot more difficult than its being made out to be. Sanders is destroying her in the young vote, there isnt a lot of enthusiasm there for her. Superdelegates are what is helping her win. Republican turn out is breaking records while Dem turnout is down 1/3rd. If the GOP goes to a contested convention and Cruz snivels his way into the nomination it will be Romney all over again with a lot of people staying home on the GOP side. If Trump wins the general he'll only be around for 4 years. He's not going to be like other politicians and will try to steamroll his plan immediately. This will def cause Dems to show up for the next election. Obama had a full dem congress when he got in, but he knew he wouldn't get reelected if he implemented everything he wanted to in his first term. The dude has always intentionally made his announcements on days before holidays, sporting events, weekends and other times people are generally distracted and don't pay attention. If Hillary keeps running on that extreme gun control platform she def will not win. Suing gun manufacturers for crimes other people commit is like suing car companies for drunk drivers. The NRA machine will be out in full force... and they are more massive than ever with Obama's constant threats over the past 5-6 years. She should know better. When the Brady act was sign under Bill Clinton, the dems got mollywhoped in the mid term.
