lol. I never sleep in my contacts. I use to not even be able to touch my eyes. It took 4 hours to get my contacts in the first time I tried. I love them now. I use Acuvue Oasis. They feel like they aren't even there. If you ever try them out and are offered Acuvue 2, turn them down. Acuvue Advance and Oasis are great but the 2's are horrible and dry out very easily.

Thanks for the recommendation. I wouldn't mind trying them out at some point. I'd finally be able to wear regular sunglasses again. I'd really like to get that laser surgery and say to hell with glasses altogether. Maybe someday.

I'm very peculiar about my eyes. Or any eyes... I can watch anything in horror movies, but eye gouging or piercing makes me ill. I watched lasik done before, and knew it wasn't for me... cutting the lens open and peeling it back to shoot some lasers in? No thanks. *barf*
