  1. FedEx is one of the shittiest delivery companies on the planet. For about 10 years UPS has found my house and delivered with a success rate of 100%. I ordered a couch and the random delivery people found my house without needing directions. I could order fuel oil and a tanker truck will find my house and backup into the driveway. But if I order a single thing online like a hard drive, fedex will delivery to a vacant field half a mile from my house. At least thats where I'm assuming it is since it was "delivered, left on front door" earlier today. :disgust: FedEx has a 50% delivery rate at my house. 6 packages they've delivered to me, only 3 of which got to my house, 2 others went to neighbor's houses and this one is somewhere, probably thrown into the neighbor's pool.

I hate when anything is shipped FedEx. I ordered something from amazon with next day shipping to avoid the weekend delaying my 2 day shipping, and it still didn't go into transit until friday when I ordered it Thursday morning. -_-;  It was FedEx of course... plus they never deliver in the time frame like UPS does. And their tracking numbers aren't reliable.

The real kick in the ass is the fedex guy was at my house on tuesday for the initial delivery. I saw his rental truck parked next to my car through my window. It only took me a minute to get outside to intercept him at my door, but by the time I got out he was gone. The tracking page online didn't update until 5 pm saying "delivery exception, incorrect street address". The fucking guy was right there. wtf. I called them up, talked to a woman who wanted delivery instructions. I told her exactly where my house is, what car is in the driveway, my house number is on the door, etc. She said the driver will get this info and I'll get my package tomorrow. When they delivered to the wrong house the next day/yesterday and I called to complain the person said there was no delivery information attached to that tracking number. This company is complete garbage.

I will never order anything next day delivery just in case its fedex. I'd rather wait over the weekend to get a product shipped to me than pay extra money for fedex to loose it and have the item delivered all over again. About 10 or so years ago I stopped ordering anything over dvd size from amazon for 5 years because they would use fedex for my packages and they'd always end up at my neighbor's houses. As long as I ordered anything dvd size it would go through regular USPS. Thats also why I was hesitant to buy amazon prime. Thankfully everything I've ordered from them now has all been delivered via UPS or USPS. I think twice a package was shipped via fedex but then passed off to USPS for final delivery. As long as fedex never has to come to my house I'll be fine with amazon, but the moment they start shipping large items to me via fedex I will drop amazon prime in a heartbeat.

So I check that tracking number this morning, turns out there is a duplicate entry in fedex tracking for it. Apparently the package was rescanned this morning and went out for delivery again today. As of about an hour ago the tracking was updated that it was delivered at the back door. Sure as hell I have no package so I called and complained again. After I got off the phone I figured I'd go check my neighbor's houses again. My neighbor to the left of me with 3 cars in their driveway has a fedex sticker on their back door with no package. WTF. They're obviously home and this dipshit doesn't even knock on their door, instead he goes into their gated back yard and slaps a sticker on their door and marks the package as delivered again. I swear.. I will waste an hour of driving to go pick up that damn package if I can tomorrow directly from their location just so I wont have to deal with this company anymore. Watch them fuck up again, put it on a truck again, and then tell me I'll have to pick it up on monday because they wont allow pickups on the weekend. This neighbor has a mailbox directly across from their house that clearly states a different house address. I bet fedex uses google maps and doesn't even look at the mailboxes or house numbers. If you google my address you will see my neighbor's house as the address and my actual house is off by 20 numbers. Google maps is completely off with all the numbers on my street and I bet thats why fedex screws up 50% of their deliveries.
