My favorites are: Char aka Quattro, Amuro, Duo (gundam wing) and Mwu la fraga (gundam seed). I'm still watching zeta gundam so I can't really pick anyone else from that yet..

I installed ubuntu yesterday and I thought its pretty damn good, but then I tried xubuntu to see if it was faster and I didn't see any noticable improvement (that and xubuntu was lacking quite a few features compared to ubuntu), so I switched back. Ubuntu already recognized my windows network and it looks like I can transfer files back and forth on my linux comp, but I don't know how to get my windows computers to recognize my linux box.. maybe I just need to set some folders for sharing on the linux one? and I'm wondering if a firewall came with this thing or not.. I have some exploring to do on it.. Interesting coincidence... I actually rebooted 3 times last night.

Since the computer I'll be putting this on is pretty weak, I looked on the ubuntu forums for minimum requirements and it looks like my best bet will be to go with xubuntu.. Does anyone know about it? is it just a stripped down version of ubuntu? or is it comparable? I think if I get that ubuntu no graphic installer, I should be able to install it, but I want to make sure the system will run at a decent speed once I get a new OS on it. \

I have a 500 mhz computer sitting in my bedroom gathering dust because whenever we use it its slow as hell. it running windows xp. Its still usable and it will run photoshop without any problem, but the system is just slow. So I want to say to hell with xp and install a new linux os on it. The only experience I have with linux (aside from server use) is when I installed mandrake on an old 133 mhz computer that was dying. I still have those mandrake disks, so I figure I could install that and then update it, but I remember hearing about some other linux os's that were much better and I can't remember their names. So does anyone have any recommendations for which linux OS I should install?

We just watched this last night. wow. creepy as hell. the plot was pretty basic at first, but the movie flowed from one scene to the next flawlessly. It had that slight gameish feel to it tho.. following the clues and the pursuit. I think it was a really good movie. and wow.. the special effects and the creatures..

action based.. hmm.. I miss the traditional style rpg. \

I'm still wondering who they're going to kill off... I'm on that scifi mailing list and one of the things I read this morning was: "Some of the major characters won't survive season 3." I'll copy and paste the small info when I get on the other comp with my email on it. I bet because of how crappily they portrayed lee in season 2 with his whole hooker escapades, fans lost respect for the character.. and now lee has hit an even more all time low by 'becoming soft'. I have a feeling hes going to turn his life around and reclaim the glory that he once was.. and then probably die. I just hope they don't kill off adama.. that would piss me right the hell off.

holy shit! I was just about to post this topic! oh man, where to begin... what a great episode! I have a feeling that the gunshots at the end of the episode were from some of the human resistance.. I'm still hoping that maybe Saul's wife played the cylons and they had a second flank waiting to ambush the cylon ambush. lol.. when adama called lee a fat ass... and it looks like Adama shaves off that horrible mustache! thank the gods! and maybe baltar is a cylon! didn't they say there were twelve models.. but they still haven't revealed the rest of them... and who is to say that the entire cylon race has agreed to the new philosophy of human coexistence.. they only have what, 4 basestars gaurding the planet? With the shear numbers that the cylons have.. and the last of humanity on that one planet.. What if the cylons guarding that planet may be keeping it hush from the rest of the cylon race? maybe there was a cylon insurrection.

Actually, I was referring to whether or not the game itself was real. I've never heard anything about it before and I remember a similar instance in which Best Buy was taking preorders for FF7 for either the PS2 or PS3 and that turned out to be pretty bogus. Anyone have any info on the game?

According to Best Buy's site, this is coming out for the PS3 this November... has anyone heard anything about this game? Is this real, or has best buy jumped the gun again? I grew up watching doctor who. I think this is actually season 27 or something. X'D um, I didn't like the new doctor at first and I thought he did a horrible performance on the christmas episode. But after the first 3 or 4 eps, I'm easily accepting him as the doctor. the season finale was pretty damn good too.. on par with the last season's finale. ^_~ *edits* whoops, I forgot to reply to your post double g. I liked season 1 better. Even tho I accept the new actor that plays the doctor, the one from the last season was much better. and just about every episode in the first season was really good, while theres at least 2 or 3 dud episodes in season 2. and when a season is only 12 episodes, that means about 20% of the overall season was blah..

oh, I didn't see that word 'kit' I assumed it was a purchased external harddrive. ; yeah, jumpers would have been my first suggestion. I'm glad you got it working.

I've never seen an online uploaded episode at the quality of an actual downloaded episode from the torrent. even the naruto 'high quality' on youtube is pixelated (especially in full screen mode) and the audio takes a hit. I will admit that the episodes are watchable in the little window and aren't that bad for the load time, but I play all my episodes in full screen or on my tv with my audio output hooked up to my stereo system. Downloaded episodes are the only way to go for me, even if it means waiting for the torrent to download. eh, to each their own.

I dunno if anyone here is watching Doctor Who on the scifi channel, but they just started airing season 2. I got an advance copy a while ago and I must say, I am pleased with this season. ^__^ Unfortunately about 2 or 3 episodes felt like filler and weren't that great, but the rest of the episodes were amazing! the werewolf episode, the birth of torchwood, cybermen.. and Satan. and the extra stuff here and there as preparation for season 3..

I have no idea what your computer or laptop is running, but any new external harddrive would be running usb 2.0, so make sure your usb slots are 2.0. Also, try a different usb cable. if you have a usb printer, swipe that cable and try that. honestly it sounds like its the cable or another hardware problem.

High quality freak? X'D you're probably the only one that watches the stuff on youtube. You should probably say, "everyone uses torrents, unless you're a low quality fan like myself that uses youtube." The latest eps of naruto usually only take about 10 minutes to download, then I'm watching it with media player. The main character is alive, but to fight hollows or to turn into his Death God form, he has to leave his body. So the black haired girl (Rukia) has a glove that she can use to push his soul out of his body. So, while hes out of his body (which happens often), normal people cannot see him.

I wish they'd put Jackson on SGA. It never made sense for him to stay with SG1 just because he missed the first flight there.

omg... I almost cried... The Merry!

Its currently in a filler arc right now, but unlike Naruto's constant random filler eps, the entire Bleach filler is one long story line and its not that bad. Its definitely worth getting. Once you get to around episode 10 or 11 the series really starts to pick up and stays strong until around ep 70 or 80 something where the filler starts. And the fight scenes rival those of Naruto and Yu Yu Hakusho. I always joke and say that Bleach is like Naruto except everyone is dead.

I don't know about anyone else, but whenever I hear Ichigo's voice, all I can hear is Vash the Stampede. x_x And Rukia's... jeebus. Rukia is about as animated in her voice as Ichigo.. but her voice actor doesn't even change the pitch or characteristics of her voice.. its like shes just reading a script. x_x; I hate these voices.
