    Destiny 2

Double jump is more then enough to get anywhere with a Hunter if you know what you're doing, triple jump is worthless unless you need a little more precision with your jumps (like getting that last Cayde chest on Io). Yea I know I'm a Hunter main but double jump is perfect the way it is, in fact I had to completely learn how to use Warlock's jump last night when I started it (took me forever to remember how it actually worked). I'll agree Arc Strider sucks, it's good for stun locking major's and yellow bars (and it's pretty effective in Crucible if you know what you're doing) but outside of that it's pretty meh. I actually enjoy Nightstalker, didn't think I would but I run with it constantly unless I'm doing something that requires my Golden Gun/Celestial Nighthawk combo. My only real issue with Hunter's is all their grenades suck except the Arc Bolt grenade. Most hardcore players aren't happy with the current state of things because the game is extremely casual with nothing for hardcore players to do. Almost every major streamer who plays Destiny cleared the 290's week 1, finished the raid the week it came out, have gone flawless in Trials every week, and have every piece of armor and every weapon in the game. Once you hit that mark what is there to do. With the Prestige raid coming out I think either this week or next week (not entirely sure) its the only piece of content they'll have to do (which most will have done right away). This token system kinda sucks. I have no choice in what gear I get, it's all rng based the engram and it sucks. Yea, it's a lot more accessible and easier to get gear now (unless you're stuck behind the soft cap (which I am, stuck at 272 right now) but I miss having a choice of buying what I want or need (my hunter looks like I went through a thrift store and bought the cheapest pieces of armor I could find. I really want the whole Crucible set because it's the best looking hunter gear (outside of the Trials gear) but I keep getting stuck with the same pieces of gear every time I turn in enough tokens for a rank up). I'm also not a fan of this wear whatever increases your PL mentality. Considering my Legendary Mark drought I can't continually infuse gear so I can keep the pieces I like and it sucks because I'll get pieces I like but I have to scrap them because they're useless and I need the legendary marks (I have shit luck with legendary engram drops, almost all of my legendaries come from rep turn ins and powerful engrams). Bungie needs to rework a few of these systems but they are by no means turning me away from the game, just gripes I have. Bungie did a lot of things right with this game but they dropped the ball on quite a few other things. The game being more casual is great for the longevity of this game (new players will constantly rolli in) but isolating you're hardcore base is going to fuck them in the long run if they don't remedy it. The hardcore community is what kept D1 alive and for Bungie to just abandon them in D2 with hopes of bringing in more players for more money is fucked up (yea, business and all but still). Most hardcore players have gone into casual mode hoping that Curse of Osiris brings in hardcore options so they can play again.

    Game of Thrones

So I've watched all of it and I think its an awesome show, but not the greatest thing ever. Tyrion, The Hound, and Bronn are my favorite characters. The one thing that irks me about this show is how every act of good turns into some type of folly that cascades into a next conflict. I mean they practically handed the Night King a dragon at the end. Cersei is way too predictable, as if she'd really agree to help in the war against the dead. I wish Jaime would put a sword through her and be done with it. Now we have an upcoming conflict between Snow and Dany about who is the rightful heir. With their unknowingly Jaime/Cersei type deal going, you'd think they'd just be cool with it, but nah its going to be another conflict. Seems like there is too much to resolve in the final season and we might get unanswered questions or rushed resolutions. I hope not, but we'll see.

    Destiny 2

I have all 3 classes in the 290s. Titan just doesn't do it for me on this game. The Hammer of Sol is a cool subclass, but the other two feel like crap. I like Hunter better, but they really should just give it 3 types of triple jump becasue PvE just requires big jumps everywhere. I feel like most these subclasses were made for PvP. Arc Strider is practically useless against a lot of foes on PvE, they all run away and then your shit runs out. Same goes for most of Titan's stuff. I've noticed all my hardcore friends stopped playing, they never have beaten the raid. I guess getting tokens to buy raid stuff really turned them off or something. This game is a lot more casual friendly.. the powerful gear isn't locked behind raids and nightfalls. Its all RnG and weekly resets. It works for me. I think the raid could use a bit better rewards... but not playing because the best gear is locked behind a weekly reset is a bit of an asinine excuse. Nothing was enjoyable about that. I have all but 3 exotic weapons in my collection, the armor is a bit harder to come by. I'm still playing so its doing something right.

    Snes Classic

I didn't preorder from Gamestop because at the time I tried to preorder alongside Skyrim for the Switch they weren't getting Snes Classics. What honestly happened was I stayed up all night playing ESO Tried to get to sleep Remembered it was the 29th Looked on Amazon and found nothing but scalpers. Checked my e-mail for an Amazon notification that wasn't there. Saw this article while looking at my Gamespot e-mail. Left my apartment at about 8:24 AM thinking I was going to be late. Waited outside with 13 other people who were also there for there own Snes Classic. Found out Gamestop doesn't open until 10AM, There wasn't a midnight launch for Snes Classic and there were 24 available. I think the only Modern Controller complaint I forgot was it doesn't have an on button. Woe is I for I have to lean forward to use the power & reset buttons.
