Reports from numerous Inuyasha fansites, both in the U.S. and Japan indicate that the Inuyasha anime series will resume this fall with Inuyasha: Konketsuhen (Inuyasha: The Final Chapters) airing on Japan’s YTV network starting in October. The original 167-episode Inuyasha anime series, which ran from 2000 to 2004 in Japan, covers events in Rumiko Takahashi’s Inuyasha manga series up through the middle of Volume #36.

The Inuyasha manga concluded in Japan last June with Volume #56 (see “Inuyasha Manga Ending”), so the Final Chapters anime will likely attempt to adapt the final 20 plus volumes of the manga. If the new series covers the manga narrative at the same rate as the original, it would indicate that the Final Chapters anime would require more than 90 episodes to tell the entire story. Reports indicate that the original voice cast is returning for the new series.

The final episodes of the original Inuyasha anime series premiered on the Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim in October of 2006. Since then the Cartoon Network has rerun the entire 167-episode series, which is currently airing between 5 and 6am (ET, PT) on weekdays.

Viz Media, which has released both Inuyasha manga and anime series here in the States, just announced that it would be making the first 32 episodes of Inuyasha (with English subtitles) available on Hulu starting today along with the first 11 episodes of Nana and the first 12 episodes of Honey & Clover.

AH! O_O

lmao. I know what you mean, the series should have ended a long long time ago but the author just kept milking it like she did with Ranma.

Fans at New York Anime Festival found out this past weekend, and now we're excited to share the news with loyal Inuyasha fans everywhere!

(Feudal drum roll please...) Starting on October 3, the English subtitled version of Inuyasha The Final Act will stream in the U.S. on our Shonen Sunday website and on Hulu.com — all within mere hours of the original air time in Japan!!!

Of course, if you can’t wait the few scant days till October 3 to start digging into the story, go straight to the source and pick up Inuyasha manga volumes 36 through 40, already on sale.

Oh, and if you missed the first part of the Inuyasha anime (for shame!), go out and get the extras-packed DVDs to prepare yourself for the big day. Or, log on to ShonenSunday.com/anime on starting Wednesday to catch all 167 previously available episodes. Hulu is streaming through episode 160 right now.

Let's see. 167 episodes at 24 minutes each, that comes out to...67 hours of watching...divided by 5 days...which comes out to almost 13 and ½ hours of watching per day. You can do it!

Oh! I gotta go...

Got some, um, work to do.

Really...

Fushigi Yugi, the mysterious play, is the story of a young girl named Miaka and her adventure into a magical book known as "The Universe of the Four Gods". Upon opening this book, Miaka is ripped from her world and placed inside the story. Miaka quickly discovers that she has a destiny to fulfill, for in this story her role is that of the Priestess of Suzaku. As the Priestess, she must seek out the seven warriors of Suzaku so that she may summon the beast god Suzaku and have her wishes granted.
But when Miaka's best friend Yui also becomes trapped in the book, a bitter rivalry ensues as Yui takes her place as the Priestess of Seriyu. While all of this happens, Miaka's brother Keisuke and his best friend Tetsuya, read the book and follow Miaka's progress throughout the story.
Fushigi Yugi has proved itself to be one of the most powerful animes I have ever had the priviledge of watching. The depth of the characters made me truely feel for them in their times of pain and happiness.
The dialoge that passes between each of the characters can be quite funny at times, but serious issues can sometimes lead to drastic events. The drama that unfolds leads way to intense battles and situations that drew me deeper into the story. With each episode, more of the story is read and The Universe of the Four Gods comes ever closer to an end. How will the story finish? Watch it yourself to find out.
The epic drama that is Fushigi Yugi is an anime that I will always admire and recommend to everyone.

Let me start off by saying I watched Fate/Zero earlier this year and it was amazing. One of my favorite series of all time now. The action, strategy, emotional connections, brutal murder, ideals, anti-hero.. it had everything I love. And the last fight in the series was one of the best damn fights I've ever seen in an anime. The series is on netflix in english and I enjoyed the english dub. Heres a trailer for it:

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgDTWKCU3_s

I know the fate/stay night is based off of a hentai game property and thats fine. I'm not interested in that. If anything that game setup the ground work for an amazing anime: Fate/Zero. The original fate/stay night series I never watched and after watching unlimited blade works I doubt I'll watch anything with the fate/stay night name in it again. Another series I loved that was based off a H-game was "Tears to Tiara".. excellent anime. Action, adventure.. and just like Fate/Zero, no hentai garbage, just an excellent series.

I saw Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works show up on netflix and I finally watched it thinking it'd be a great sequel to Fate/Zero.. boy was I wrong. This series was more based off the actual property, minus hentai.. It was horrible. Its like they took something amazing and turned it into everything I hate in an anime.. all main characters are kids.. in school, with school outfits, and an occasional dojo episode. wtf. I only watched the first 13 episodes and I'll pass on even finishing this series once netflix gets it. I don't want it tainting the awesomeness of Fate/Zero any more.

Fate/Zero was epic.. a full on war between 7 mages and their heroic spirits.. the battles were intense and everyone expected a fight to the death at any moment. But unlimited blade works starts the next holy grail war. And everyone continues going to school. Seriously? If any of these characters were in Fate/Zero they would have been dead in the first episode. These two series are so drastically different its like comparing Gundam to Care Bears.

      TLDR

Watch Fate/Zero. Watch it now. Amazing.

Delete Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works from your queue and never watch it or feel utter disappointment.
